We had a very positive experience selling our house through Halliwell Marks. The service they provided from start to finish was excellent. Richard handled the viewings and gave great feedback, which provided confidence. Rachel took over post sale and needs a special mention for the excellent way she kept us and other parties well informed. Faultless experience with Halliwell Marks who I used to sell my property in what can only be described as a challenging market. Duncan was fantastic, professional and always open to discussion, opinion and adapting wherever necessary. He was also honest and offered extremely valuable advice throughout. Rachel handles the post offer process, and I have no words for how hard she works to push all parties to get the sale process completed. Having a dedicated individual to oversee this delicate part of the process removes a lot of stress and concern when dealing with solicitors etc. Highly recommend!

Richard managed the front end of our purchase and sale, which provided us with continuity and confidence.
Rachel then sale progressed with a professional and experienced manner, vital when elements became less straightforward, due to extraneous factors.

I have just exchanged contracts on the sale of my property with Halliwell Marks. I believe a good Estate Agent is one that supports you through the entire selling journey and not just to the point of getting an offer. Mark was friendly, polite and supportive through the sales viewings and not at all pushy and off putting like some agents can be and Rachel has provided ongoing regular updates and chasing solicitors throughout. I’d definitely recommend this friendly and professional local company.

Great service from start to finish as agent for the sale of a flat. Duncan is great, keeps you up to date with regular check ins and advice on the state of the market. The real star of the show is Rachel who takes over once an offer has been accepted. She’s a proper legend, really hands on, understanding and empathetic, rolls her sleeves up and helps chase solicitors to get some progress and pragmatism from solicitors etc. It really felt like Rachel was a key component in expediting the sale when exchange and completion could easily have been delayed by solicitor inefficiency.
