Just had to complete a move in a very short space in time. Out of the many agencies I contacted and reviewed properties with HH was 1 of only 2 agencies that really stood out. On top of that, my circumstances made things rather difficult: however Neil really stepped up, made himself available to suit me and my timetable - was always available to answer the avalanch of queries, concerns, demands. Everything closed out without a hitch. Then, after everything signed up HH then went 1 step further with offering help to facilitate setting up services etc etc. All in all - definately the first team i would recommend should anyone be lookingto move to Stockport area

Hibbert Homes have been amazing - so professional in every way, always at the end of the phone to deal with any queries promptly - I personally have had a rocky road with various other agents sending unqualifeid/totally unsuitable veiwers at all sorts of hours, went live with Hibbert Homes on a Friday 4pm which was a bank holiday - they had 8 veiwings booked by the next day - all qualified 1st buyer came and offered the asking price after leaving with in minutes, resulting in cancelling further veiwings.....I personally recommed Hibbett Homes to all my friends and family knowing they give 2nd to none customer care and professionalism...no cow boy antics trying to get you down on price for a quick sale...integrity-honesty-professional in every way! I have 1x property being managed by Hibbert Homes and can honestly say the experience has been great.
It used to be the case that my property was managed by Trading Places which was taken over by Hibbert Homes. I was initially apprehensive about this take over as my time with Trading Places left much to be desired and I expected things to get much worst when Hibbert Homes took over... but I actually, exactly what was needed.
We are currently dealing with a stressful tenant eviction and Hibbert Homes have been great in getting up to speed with it following the take over from Trading Places, and in dealing with maitenance issues.

We left Hibbert's nearly a year ago after being with Carrington's for well over 10 years. Carrington's was a friendly, highly efficient, family run company. After being taken over by Hibberts, the service changed completely. Our two houses were not inspected regularly and resulted in one of the houses having to have work completed to the cost of over GBP 25,000. This happened in summer 2023 - Hibbert's blamed Covid for the fact that the house had not been inspected regularly. Hibbert's was also often unresponsive to emails. Also, in my opinion, Hibberts no longer serves the needs of the Stockport market; landlords are much better served by local, Stockport-based company.

Fantastic service from Lauren at Hibbert Homes. I am a reluctant landlord (inherited house) and wanted an agency to take care of everything. When the tenants stopped paying rent, the agency was put to the test. And they've passed with flying colours! Fortunately, we had landlord insurance but Lauren has kept us informed every step of the way of what's going on, what the next steps are, etc. She represented us at court and the only thing we've had to do is approve requests for minor outgoings.

As an estate agent myself, the bar is naturally always high when selling property myself.
As a family property was being sold in Manchester being based in London was naturally a worry as I wouldn’t on hand so having confidence in the agent to really look after things was key.
Having met four agents, over the visits to the property Charlie of Hibbert Homes really stood out.
Not only, did he give me full confidence in how his team would market the property he talked me through in detail his process for managing a sale. Compared to the other local agents I met, it seemed very much a ‘throw it Rightmove and hope for the best approach’.
The property has now been under offer for the past 4 weeks, and seems to be nearing an exchange with fingers crossed what seems minimal disturbance.

We had Charlie to help sell our house and literally every step of the process exceeded expectations.
We spoke to 3 estate agents - we chose Hibbert homes because, for our property type, Charlie clearly knew the market and had a list of recent contacts lined up who wanted what we had. Other estate agents said they’d sort the photography in a few days and get the property on Rightmove in a week, but we wanted to move quickly. Charlie got a viewing the next day, the photography in 2 days and on Rightmove in 4 (we hired them on a Friday). By close of business Tuesday we had 8 viewings lined up - 4 on the Wednesday. By Wednesday night we had 3 offers over asking. The other estate agents wouldn’t have even had us online for 2 more days and we were sold already.
Wasn’t just that though. The rates were competitive and the contact and advice throughout our own buying process was friendly, practical and down to Earth. Estate agents often get a (sometimes deservedly) bad rap for being in it for the money, disinterested and not knowledgable but that was not our experience here. Helping with negotiations, contracts, issues - all great.

I wanted to view one of the properties advertised for rent. Contact was swift. Both Brad and Hannah were professional to deal with.
However you're required to provide full details including that of guarantors just to secure a viewing. These details include
- Current tenancy details including your previous landlord
- Addresses for the past 3 years
- Employment details including salary, payroll number and NI number
- Previous employment details
- Bank account details (account number and sort code)
Even though I earn well in excess of the salary threshold required to rent the property, I also needed to provide a guarantor due to being in my probation period. Guarantor details would be as above. This is where I drew the line. Bear in mind all this is required just to view the property. I find it incredibly excessive and intrusive for a viewing. I have rented properties for 20 years now. I have never been asked for this level of information just for a viewing.

I moved to the uk last year and my circumstances were some what unusual. The team at The Carrington Partnership were accommodating and ensured my move went swimmingly. I was kept updated regularly with the progress of my application and always receive a prompt response.
I was hesitant at first to take on a property not managed by an agency but I couldn’t fault it. My landlord has used Carrington’s for many years and nothing is too much to ask. Don’t use this agent as a tenant. Tried to charge during the tenancy for damage that was cause by the them/the landlord not maintaining the property. Asked for £15 per person to provide reference to next landlord and tried to charge £170 for clean of the property when it had been made clear twice the property had been professionally cleaned. When challenged on it instantly accepted £50. Added to this do NOT rent 29 Severn drive. Landlord is irrational. Complained at the length of the lawn even though property was not equipped with a lawnmower and after renting the property to us and the previous 3 tenants with a dog cancelled the tenancy half way through contract and re advertised stating in block capitals NO DOGS. After we had fully furnished the property

After this being identified by the agent and photographed in an inspection it was not repaired (which obviously caused water to leak through). Also if the property was left in such poor condition why was there no attempt to recover these "damages" from the deposit? Also no response to my other points in the review including why the length of the grass was assessed and brought to our attention via the landloads drive by inspection of the property (quite normal)

Couldn't fault the service from all the team at The Carrington Partnership. They ensured the property was spotlessly clean and ready for when I moved in and made sure the whole process was straightforward and easy. I spent a long time searching for my new home and I can say that the standard of thier properties by far outweighs their competition. I was pleasanlty surprised that I was able to contact them recently in the early hours of the morning to report an urgent issue, I spoke to one of the partners directly and the matter was dealt with immediately. Can't recommend this company enough!

If you are looking to rent a property in / around Stockport, then this is the agency for you. They stand out head and shoulders above their competitors. Joanne and her team went out of their way to help me find a suitable property. Hannah narrowed down a list for me of landlords that may accept a small dog and booked me in to view. Brad showed me the properties and gave me genuinely helpful advice which allowed me to make a quick decision. I don’t have time to mess about and with their help, the whole process was quick and easy.

Good landlord while I was a tenant but then deducted £185 from the deposit for cleaning when the property had already been adequately cleaned. They also said the oven need cleaning even though I had it professionally cleaned. Dont use this company - be warned

Right from arranging a viewing the minute the property was on the market, because they knew my requirements; to assisting with the information on the utility suppliers; to even putting me in contact with someone who would remove household rubbish at a small cost.
