We chose Michael to market our property after using many of the local “chain” estate agents to buy/sell previous properties and weren’t too impressed. From the first meeting we knew it would be a different experience selling with an independent agent. Michael was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, had great communication and knew the local area personally. Most importantly he didn’t try and give me the “estate agent talk”!
His photography and marketing materials really helped to advertise the house in the best light and his communication throughout the process was spot on. We achieved asking price and had a hassle free transaction with Hobbs Property.

I cannot begin to praise the professionalism of this young man and his team. His enthusiasm is bursting to the max. Michael's eye to detail in preparing our property for sale, and the final presentation of the brochure, the drone footage the photos and Michael's sales pitch is awesome. Also Michael's interaction each step of the way via telephone or e-mail (even while on his holiday). Needless to say I wholeheartedly recommend Hobbs Property Agents. I can highly recommend Michael. We used Hobbs to sell a property following a family bereavement. Michael’s advice on getting the property ready to present for sale was invaluable. His marketing strategy was spot on and within a week of going live on the market we had 4 proceed-able offers and secured a purchase price above our expectations. Michael did his due diligence on all of our prospective buyers and gave us a clear review of each offer and the associated chain, this was invaluable in helping our decision.
Throughout the sale process Michael liaised with the agents and solicitors up and down the chain and provided us with regular updates by phone call, voice notes, text or email.
His approach was highly professional and despite not having a high street presence he did not fail in any aspect of the sale and I would have no hesitation in using him again.

Michael sold our house within a week of being on the market and has been excellent, professional, and attentive for all our questions and queries right from the start all through to completion.

If you check the Hobbs Property Agents listings to sale ratio, you will find it is excellent. This alone is high recommendation.
When you contact Michael Hobbs, you will find that he is extremely knowledgeable, professional and gives an excellent service. Michael replies promptly to all methods of contact and knows immediately who you are and how the sale is progressing. He was able to liaise with our solicitor to ensure a prompt and smooth transaction. We have sold and bought many houses over the years and can honestly say that Michael is the best estate agent we have ever had dealings with.

We recently used Hobbs Property Agents' free valuation service to help us decide whether to carry out further building work on our property or sell as is. We were very impressed with the service Michael provided and we didn't feel pressured by him to try and get a sale after he provided the valuations nor did we feel the valuations he provided were skewed to try and get us to sell either. He provided a very detailed valuation report of the 5 scenarios we asked for, with relevant up to date information about the local market ,evidenced by recent local sales and also realistic values based on current market trends.
