I've used Hollands Smith to both buy (2011) and sell (2025) property, which on both occaissions, was handled by Rob Smith.
My property was sold 26 hours after I instructed Rob to put it on the market, and completed today.
I have been really pleased with the service Rob provided from start to finish, communication was excellent.
I can't recommend Rob and Hollands Smith too highly.

Lost for words really with Rob and the team. We all have an impression about what a good estate agent should be but let me tell you, Rob is on another level. We have had an extremely challenging sale of our property, exacerbated by a poor Solicitor representing the buyers. Rob was instrumental in pulling all parties together, always calm and professional, I could not ask for more and I recommend Rob and his team to anyone. 10 out 10 for us, just superb!

Zara and I would just like to personally thank you both and your precious team of wonderful professionals at Hollands Smith for all your time and bucket loads of patience and answering our novice questions and all the hand holding, directing and navigating us along all our many twists and turns, the highs and the lows, the ups and downs of our journey to finally selling 412. It has been a very stressful, anxiety provoking, challenging and frustrating time for us both but thanks to you all we finally made it. Hopefully exciting times lie ahead of us now and we will get to move into our new home and start again.
Hopefully we will not need to sell a house ever again, but if the matter does arise we would not hesitate to instruct you. We will always recommend you to loved ones who need such a service.
Thank you also for putting us in contact with the surveyor, solicitor and removals and storage company, all those valuable people and also saved us the job of hunting down such professionals ourselves.

Have had serious problems in a rented flat from this estate agent. The flat was extremely dusty throughout and the bedroom had serious mould issues which has resulted in my furniture being ruined. Mainly the mattress in attached picture.
The landlord of the property was a control freak and very difficult to deal with and the estate agent did nothing to help. Avoid renting 3 Appledore Rd.

As tennants, Jane & the team always go above and beyond to accommodate our needs.
They're so polite & friendly and take the time to listen and help you where they can.
The times we have needed help with maintenance at the property, Jane has always ensured it's dealt with immediately and resolved as quickly as possible.
Their catalogue of properties around the area are stunning and the houses we have seen (before we chose our current one) have always been in beautiful condition in great locations.

I want to recommend Rob Smith at HollandSmith as he assisted me to sell my house which was part of a fairly long chain. He offered reassuring advice, always answered my calls and acted swiftly on my behalf whenever I requested a follow up on something. The same can't be said for all involved and I began this process with a slightly cynical view of estate agents which I'm glad to say Rob turned on it's head! I would definitely look at buying/selling through HollandSmith if I were staying in the area and would like to thank them for their assistance throughout the process.

Even though we had not specifically marketed the property with Hollands Smith - the team were extremely helpful, provide timely and useful updates on the upward chain and answered all of our (many!) questions to the best of their abilities.
