From the moment the house was listed they have been in constant communication ensuring that we were informed of every bit of feedback from every viewing. They always accompanied the viewings which was a great reassurance for my 85 year old mother living in the house alone. Their brilliant service does not stop when you agree an offer. From the very get go Cooper and Wallace were exceptional.
I contacted several estate agents at the start and they responded in less than 5 mins. They arranged to view quickly and discussed the valuation in detail. Every step of the process was handled with ease.
Everyone we spoke to (Ben, Hannah, Charlie, David) were kind, professional and understanding. We were very soon expecting our second child so the stress was already up there, but they did everything they could to keep us informed along the way and make it as smooth as possible...

I’m leaving a review for an estate agent we never bought a house from, we offered on a house and got to within a week of completion and our busier pulled out, Rob and David did everything in their power to get us the house we so dearly wanted, this was not the case and they then did all they could to get us viewings on houses similar, in the end we purchased from another agent, however in the future we will use Cooper Wallace as they are impeccable, great communication and really knowledgeable, would 100% recommend

We have had such a great experience with Cooper Wallace buying a house from them. Despite being our seller's Estate Agent, we feel they really cared and listened to us throughout all the process. David and Daniel went above and beyond helping us during the whole experience.
Their communication has been excellent the entire time and can only thank them for all the time they spent on the phone and email with all of our questions. They are very friendly, polite and professional and we felt at ease every time we needed to discuss anything with them.
When did the first view of our property, Daniel was very knowledgeable and he explained everything very well answering all of our questions. We felt in love as soon as we saw that , and when speaking with the Estate Agent he listened to us and helped us getting in contact while we were waiting to sell our property.
We would like to recommend them to anyone who wants to have a nice customer experience either selling or buying. We hope we will stay in our new property for longer period, but if we needed to use another Estate Agent we wouldn't hesitate to use them as they have been fantastic!!!

At the time of putting my house up for sale I was in the early stages of pregnancy and really anxious to find a home with more space before our baby arrives.
I was lucky enough to get in contact with Daniel B, who came to review our home efficiently and professionally. I was really happy with the photos he’d taken and the way in which he talked us through all the relevant processes involved in selling a house.
Much to our delight Daniel had a lot of interest on our property and we were able to sell it. Our whole chain completed within three months. At times through the process I had a lot of questions and in retrospect I can see I needed a lot of reassurance through the process as my stress levels were very high. Cooper Wallace managed both our purchase and our sale, naively I thought an estate agents job ended after they posted a few photos on rightmove... That could not be further from the truth, at least not at cooper wallace it's not.. David and the team were professional throughout the entire process, he walked us through it from advertising our house right up to completion. Without Davids help coordinating the entire chain, keeping clear comms between all the different parties, I'd imagine many of us would have lost patience and pulled out. Thank you David for all of your help!

Daniel the managing director is you exceptional atypical estate agent, being humble honest mellow and down to earth.
An independent estate agent winning awards against the giants cowboys estate agents is not an easy feat and must be with credence and rightly justification.
I haven't bought or solda house with them, only a few viewings that were pleasant.
They will not push you to see other properties and respect ones desire to see via viewing on Zoopla or Rightmove website that advertise.
It's nice that give all room dimensions in the floor plan and actual size of the house with detailed information.
Best to contact them via Zoopla as Rightmove has bug that messages never get to any estate agent( as of may 2024)!
I can't comment on the rest of the team as i have had no interaction with them too give a true review on them.

I bought a cottage in Baldock recently through this agency.
The professionalism genuine concern and helpfulness was a joy to behold in these sometimes flippant times.
David and his team went over and above to ensure I had a stressful purchase , over performing when my solicitors fell short of the mark.
I would have no hesitation in recommending these people for their attention to detail genuine kindness and consummate professionalism.
A pity more agents don't operate on this basis.

Reading one Indian lady negative review it give me more believe of bias and prejudice and selective professional and service.

Initially Ben was interested and engaging with our property but once we were on the books we were left to do the majority of showing ourselves. When we did have one of the other members of Cooper Wallace on-site I found it surprising that they had never familiarised themselves with the property beforehand and in one case just stood outside leaving the potential buyer alone with no chaperone. The photographs for the sale were good however, but we did need the selling description modified to make a more professional impact. Unfortunately issues arose after our buyer altered their purchase agreement but this was not picked up on by Cooper Wallace, lack of following up and due diligence. On having to re market Bens attitude changed and we felt that we then had to chase for them to do the job we had engaged them to do. Frustrating especially as we understand this industry well. We had to chase to have our keys returned. It seemed that when there was effort needed it was too much like hard work. Shame as it started out so professionally.

They are the loveliest bunch of people who have been SO supportive and helpful every step of the way through our sale and purchase! They always answer the phone immediately, and on the rare occasions the person I need to speak to isn't available I ALWAYS get a callback soon after getting off the phone! They give so much more insight into the views your property gets on Rightmove than other estate agents do and have called us weekly with updates so theres no need to chase them. Its been bliss! They have gone above and beyond for us and I can't recommend them enough. If anyone is looking for an estate agent, they are the one you want! ????

I initially put my house for sale through Connells. About 6 weeks into my contact, Daniel Barham from CW dropped a note through my door to contact him. I explained I was with Connells etc but was finding it difficult to get in touch with them and I was worried about the current market.
Dan was so so so helpful and informative. Despite not being a client of his, he gave me a wealth of information that Connells just hadn’t bothered with.
After my contract with Connells was up, I relisted with CW. Wow! What a difference a change of agency made. The advert alone was more informative and professional without taking into consideration how well Dan did at showing potential buyers round our house (2 young kids and an excitable cockerpoo, it can be a challenge).
Dan made me feel like I was his only client which of course wasn’t the case but he went above and beyond with his customer service to us. There was never a time where I went longer than a few hours for a callback (rare as Dan always called me back within an hour).
He is a calm, competent, proactive, passionate and great estate agent. We had a serious offer within weeks and we have now moved into our forever home. Thank you Dan!

We had a terrible experience where we were strung along by a seller through another Bedford based estate agency and with the turmoil of trying to secure our mortgage rate before the interest rates spiked, Cooper Wallace pulled out all the stops to get us over the line. If you’re planning on selling your home, just use Cooper Wallace. Ben was fantastic from the get go. This was the first time we’ve sold a property and we were guided through the process so well. Joined by Hannah and Connor, they were determined to get it sold for the right price. Then once sold, there was a swift transfer to the ‘aftercare’ which was David who was very knowledgable about the process, timings etc. he knew exactly what needed to be done and when. Our onward purchase took quite some time due to reasons outside of our control but David remained patient throughout, chased solicitors and even our vendor’s estate agent. We put in an offer on our house before the pandemic hit, but before too long the whole housing market was put on hold. Despite this, David kept us completely informed and was incredibly responsive to any questions we had, would offer us any insight he would receive in the meantime and ensured the dialogue between us and our sellers was unaffected. We arranged a couple of subsequent viewings to start measuring up and upon arrival were told we only had 20 mins before whoever was showing us around would need to lock up to go to another appointment, so having an idea of how long we’d be able to have to measure up beforehand would have been great to avoid feeling rushed.

WOW ... 1 year on the market with other estate agents and within a week Daniel sold my house, He held my hand through the whole process as it was all new to me and took the time to explain everything to me even when I had stupid repetitive questions. He was proactive in getting our sale pushed through during Lockdown when the estate agent we were buying from had 0 motivation or brains to get thing moving Daniel was on the case making relationships with the upward chain and pushing things along nicely. Mislead from the start, and was given false information through out our purchase and was let down several times.
Once completion was finally made 7 months later, we got given 1 set of keys when there was meant to be 2, which was fine at the time as Cooper Wallace said they'd sort it for us - after asking several times and was unresponsive to the last message I had sent - still to this day we only have 1 set of keys, and as far as we are aware to this day the keys are with someone else and not actually the seller himself.
I found for first time buyers Cooper Wallace was very unprofessional and hard to work alongside, which was a shame considering all the other reviews seemed positive which is why we chose to use them in the first place, however the experience was the complete opposite - maybe we just got unlucky!
I would not recommend this company at all and would certainly not use them again.

I viewed a property in bedford that was on the market with Cooper Wallace. Ben met me there and was very informative, professional and seemed genuinely interested in helping me. I put in an offer that same day and had the offer accepted the next day.
After 3 failed purchases over the previous few months, I had my doubts that this would complete. However, David kept me informed every week and was really on top of every process, keeping the ball rolling. Most other estate agents hadn't bothered to contact me after my offers had been accepted. Cooper Wallace were in constant contact with solicitors and myself, along with the vendor. We completed the sale in just 6 weeks!
