Ah, Tim. So much we could say about Tim! Tim was recommended to us by a friend who described him as 'like velvet,' which made me laugh, but then we met him and it made sense. Having looked at several houses before putting ours on the market, we'd met a lot of local estate agents, mainly from bigger companies with several staff who didn't seem to know much about the properties we were viewing, didn't really care, or were billy big bo****cks and quite off-putting. We met Tim to value our home and he was indeed... Velvet! Smooth, straight talking, informative and very knowledgeable. He got our house on the market super quick and put up with us being generally desperate and rushed to get the house sold asap in order to get an offer in on the house we wanted and viewed before we were even listed (!). He kept us calm and cool, reassured us and stopped us from doing silly things. We were happy in the knowledge that he wouldn't be acting like the estate agents we met when showing others around our home, we knew he'd be able to answer questions and wouldn't play games with any potential buyers, which was important to us. He put up with our panicky messages, responding almost instantly with his calming velvetness! Throughout the process he chased solicitors and estate agents through the whole chain and answered questions from us about things beyond his remit, about the house we were buying and how things usually 'go'. At our initial meeting, it was clear Tim is different from other estate agents, being very thorough, straightforward and communicative, so I decided to work with him without speaking to other agents. Tim is the consummate professional, assisting with all aspects of the process and guiding you to a successful outcome. Drawing on his previous career as a professional photographer, Tim produces a fantastic portfolio of images that presents houses in their best light. Another differentiator is his ability to coach you about the process - providing guidance on realistic pricing and the viability of prospective buyers, only putting forward offers if they are genuinely proceedable. Tim recommended using Hannah Solicitors as he is used to working with them, and this arrangement worked really well as it removed friction, ambiguity and delay. Tim communicates very effectively with all stakeholders which sets him apart. I have no hesitation in recommending Tim to sell your home. Tim is a fantastic estate agent who does so much more than simply selling your house for you. He did do that.... very rapidly in one weekend after we had dealt with a different estate agent for a month with no luck. But the after sales support is what stands out as Tim was constantly in communication with us (and our buyers) throughout the course of the months that it took to find a house and move, in fact he was whipping the other estate agents and solicitors into shape for us. What's also great is you are dealing with Tim throughout, not a whole host of office bods etc. This included even taking the photos himself and he made the house look at it's best with a few artistic touches here and there. He is really experienced, knows the area very well and has also been helpful in providing us with contacts. So overall couldn't recommend more highly and well worth the fee in my opinion...
