We were at the top of the chain of 7. At the bottom of the chain there were a number of problems and delays but Craig did an amazing job of coordinating across all the other agents and solicitors and informed and supported us all the way.

My husband and I bought a property through Hughes Sealey Estate Agents, directly dealing with Craig Hughes. I am a Programme Manager by trade and thus, asking a million questions, challenging any and every answer provided and needing to form a plan are all hard-coded into my personality! Craig couldn't have been more reassuring, patient, calm, helpful and considerate of the position we were in during the entire process (something I can't whole-heartedly say for the estate agents we used to sell our house!). Safe to say, working with Craig taught me how things can work when the right company is involved - from making himself available way out of working hours, to giving me his personal mobile in times of intense stress, Craig made it very clear he was here to support us through everything - even when it wasn't really his job and he could have quite easily passed us on to other companies who were responsible for dealing with issues. I have never been through the process of buying AND selling before (the house we just sold was our first ever house so no prior experience of being in a chain) and I can honestly say that if we ever considered moving again, I would reach out to Craig and beg that he would act as our agent. Friendly, understanding, firm when needed (ie Craig helped me drive forwards things in my own part of the chain because I didn't have the experience or understanding of what I could push back on) - just overall, a complete pleasure to buy a house through. 10 stars out of 5 - thank you so much to Craig and the team for everything, I honestly don't think we would have completed without them, and now we get to live in our dream home all because of their tenacity, support and ongoing calm attitude.

Craig and Kathryn were absolutely wonderful.
they were very professional, patient ,accommodating and did above and beyond for us.
as an International buyer, first time buying a house in the UK, they have walked me through the process, helped me in every step of the way from finding the right house for my family to price negotiations, house surveyors, lawyers, getting the keys at the date I wanted. and making sure that we have good communication with the previous owners to make the transition easier.
given the fact that we were not in the uk until we moved to the house, we absolutely relied on Craig to help us in everything. and he always came through for us, taking care of every little detail or problem we had. it has been an absolute pleasure to work with him. and we are so thankful for his work and for our wonderful house.

Many house moves are traumatic, but i would assert that ours was particularly fraught and complex. Craig went above and beyond our expectations in resolving issues and supporting us. A particular strength that we really appreciated, was that he would keep us updated and always respond to calls or messages. Back in Feb HS showed us around a house in Southam and we decided to buy. We put our house on the market with another agent immediately but footfall was very slow and then lockdown happened. After lockdown viewings were still very disappointing so inevitably we lost the Southam property and were in very low spirits thinking we were never going to be able to move, but we decided to persist and asked Craig Hughes to market our house and would worry about finding a new house later. Craig ‘rebooted’ our house, suggesting some minor repairs and changes to how it was presented. Two days after launch it was sold and the day after that Craig found us our dream home which we viewed and bought before he’d even marketed it. There were still plenty of bumps along the way but Craig was always on hand to navigate us through and keep us sane. Finally today we exchanged and move in next week. Craig and his team have been great throughout and if like me you have not immediately considered HS to market your house because they look expensive, I suggest you give them a call: the service is definitely five star but I think you will find the price surprisingly competitive, especially given the level of personal service provided. Getting the right agent can make the difference between your house move being a dream or a nightmare - Craig and his team won’t be able to remove all the stress and strain but they will share it and be supportive throughout.
