We have just completed on a property that was listed with Hull Gregson Hull. Despite a few complications with our mortgage, it has been an absolute pleasure to deal with these guys. Mike saw through the majority of the transaction and Shay filled in on a few occasions. There was a seamless transition between the both of them which really demonstrated that they really know what’s going on with their sales and the general communication has been excellent. From the first viewings until the end of the sale we have felt looked after, which is definitely far more notable than some other larger estate agents I have dealt with. They have been quick to highlight any issues that may have needed ironing out and have been excellent advocates for both parties in the transaction, leading to a deal that both sides have been happy with. (Probably the fastest commission that man has ever made!) I had been with two other agents prior to Hull Gregson Hull in order to sell my property with no luck. Despite being disheartened Mark reassured me straight away and I felt so much more confident. It felt like a fresh start despite so much disappointment.
The viewings came thick and fast and within six weeks I had an offer. I rejected this but it was quickly followed by another that Alexis secured for me - just before Christmas! A wonderful way to start 2024.
During the whole process from start to finish the Portland team have been very friendly, professional and efficient in everything they do. Above all else, they genuinely care and are sincere - which is not something I can say about the majority of agents I've experienced.
Matt, the Director had also gone above and beyond in ensuring that my sale went smoothly. Towards the end, he went out of his way to make sure that both me and my buyers were satisfied with the final conveyancing fees and correspondence prior to exchange. Recently moved with pretty short notice to Portland from Plymouth, and Jasmine and the team couldn't have made it easier if they tried. Well although I did not buy through this estate agent in the end , They were excellent. Very helpful and nothing was too much for them. A special mention to Paul who kept us up to date with anything he thought may be of interest to us. Matt is the new kid on the block in their office but has been in the industry a long time and he also was very helpful. I found everyone very approachable and would have no hesitation to use them again if needed . Thank you all.
