He was professional and courteous at all times and super prompt to follow up and reply to all questions and queries... of which there were many . Viewed three properties this weekend with Simon. Two of which we picked and one which Simon suggested we view which turned out to be a great recommendation. Simon was approachable and friendly and we felt really comfortable speaking openly with him about the pros and cons of each property. He called as promised to discuss the viewings with us a couple of days later and provided additional information in response to a couple of queries and talked through our feedback so that he could provide the details to the sellers.

I am writing to thank Sam and the rest of the team very much for all the hard work they put for the sale of our house in Corsham.
The sale was easy bit, but where they really earned their money was over the next couple of months. Unfortunately our solicitor turned out to be a bit of a nightmare where communications were concerned and Sam did his absolute best to take up the slack, often chasing her on our behalf and filling in any gaps in our knowledge of the legal process because we couldn't get to talk to the solicitor. If Sam wasn't about then it didn't matter which other person we spoke to they were all able to help and knew the current situation.
I commend their highly professional attitude to the job and their tact and patience when dealing with this very stressed out customer.

The team at HF (we were with the Corsham branch) are not only nice and pleasant to work with, but are extremely hard-working and diligent, doing their best not only to get a buyer for our property, but help drive the process through exchange and completion. They were supportive and understanding, clearly explaining things along the way as well as being flexible in times where the sale was challenging (outside of their control). Great Estate Agent. The team Jacob, Lauren and Simon were very professional and courteous and regularly kept us fully informed with the progress on the sale of our house, took care to know lots of details about the history of the house to explain it fairly to prospective buyers when viewing, and to progress the sale with our buyers (one fell through) effectively and politely. If they promised to do something, it always was done on time. This was the best experience of an estate agent I've had with buying or selling a house.

When I needed to sell my mum's house in Corsham I travelled down 250 miles and arranged meetings and valuations with four local agents. I was most impressed by Jacob from Hunter French and instructed them. A buyer was found within two days who was already known to the agent.
Over the next few weeks Hunter French did everything necessary to advance the process, including a last minute visit to clear some bags for the charity shop that had mistakenly been left behind by the house clearance people.
The service from all the staff at HF was excellent, which was really helpful as I live 250 miles away and the house was empty. Completion was effected successfully today, barely 8 weeks after the initial instruction.

Living in NZ and having a home in the UK that had been in the family for over 50 years meant that when the time came to sell, choosing the right real estate agent was a significant decision. Hunter French stood out with a superior web layout, favoured by clients with country homes/ cottages and were represented with a simple design/ branding that definitely was contemporary, smart and noticeably more appealing than other companies. Even the simple colour choices on the sale signs advertising local country and town houses was more fitting and matching with the smart and tidy look I was hoping to find.
Putting all the aesthetics aside, meeting the agents was critical in informing the best choice between the four.
There is no doubt, the other three agents were professional, knowledgeable and very keen for business, bar one young chap who was perhaps a tad new to the scene, obviously needed a break, but not with this property!!!
Along came Jacob, representing Hunter French and as it happened, a founding director. This was immediately impressive.
My next point is crucial. You cannot buy or take any short cut to the level of professionalism Jacob demonstrated. This quality is developed not only through solid, successful years in the trade BUT through life experience that includes extremely important elements that build a personality and character best suited to his position.
When I asked Jacob to explain a little about himself, it became clear that his career journey, even prior to setting up Hunter French, was full of focus, determination, adventure and success. He is a family man who knows how to optimize his business and his life as a whole. During our tour and discussion he displayed an authentic gentlemanly confidence and included all the information I was expecting (I am extremely thorough) and excluded any unnecessary rubbish, sense of entitlement or the often too common statements to lure in, or over sell a position. To meet someone with this level of professionalism representing one of the biggest processes a family can experience, is extremely reassuring.
After meeting Jacob at the home, I popped into the Corsham office to basically get an authentic insight on what his team was like.
I was met by a young gentleman at the front desk that was impeccably dressed, spoke confidently and had a superb approach to our short 5 minute interaction. I met a second gentleman and in those 10 minutes in the office I was able to ascertain that Jacob had managed to build a team that represented Hunter French superbly. I was later advised that the team actually visited the home for sale, I order that they were all optimally prepared to best represent.
With the decision made to hire Hunter French, sales rep Tim was assigned and the team quickly and efficiently guided the process of setting up the home to be marketed. I returned to New Zealand on schedule and an exciting journey ensued.
Due to the complications of Brexit I was aware it may take a while to find a buyer. However, it was not long before a series of offers were presented. Negotiations were fielded at several levels with different clients. I was continually informed of progress and this was often followed up by additional and extremely useful communications from Jacob.
A buyer with no complication of existing chains was found. Tim successfully negotiated two increases in offer. There is no doubt that this is quite an achievement in the current climate.
The contract completed and house keys were handed over in December 2018.
I am certain that Hunter French achieved above and beyond expectations. This fits with real time data that clearly indicates Hunter French are indeed performing on a level that is noticeably better than competitors.
Hunter French, without a shadow of a doubt, tailored their approach to my specific needs and provided a personal and uncompromising service.

Jacob and his team are consistently professional and, unusually, they actually care about their clients rather than just their commission, and go the extra mile to make things happen. When our move became extremely stressful, Jacob and Sandra stayed calm and did everything possible to facilitate everyone’s needs.
Having lived in Corsham for nearly 12 years, I know Jacob. We bump into one another in the deli, the bookshop and just walking around town. He is always the same; cheerful, courteous, warm and caring. He is exactly what he appears to be, and has a knack for recruiting absolute gems like himself to work on his team.
I wouldn’t consider using anyone else to sell my house. We wouldn’t be moving at all if it wasn’t for Hunter French.

Over the past few years I have dealt with Hunter French in their Corsham and Devizes offices as both a Vendor and a Buyer. During this time I have always found them to be highly professional and honest. This is particularly so in being honest about valuations and property.
