From start to finish I have been incredibly impressed by the service provided. The purchase wasn’t always plain sailing but Elliott has a level of care to all involved that made it so much easier. In fact, had it been anyone else I might have considered backing out. It’s not often that you find a business that truly provides great service but that is exactly what Elliott has done. We can’t recommend Jacobs Prestige Properties highly enough. Our purchase certainly wasn’t the most straightforward, with several unexpected hurdles along the way, including having to change mortgage providers part way through the transaction. Whilst none of these issues were within the estate agent’s control, Elliot was there every step of the way, always offering practical advice and finding solutions to keep the purchase moving. Nothing ever seemed too much trouble. Whether it was speaking with solicitors, putting us in touch with a mortgage adviser, helping us source a solicitor for the independent legal advice required by the lender, or simply keeping everyone updated and the transaction progressing, Elliot consistently went above and beyond what we would normally expect from an estate agent. We were buying this as a buy-to-let, and even after our offer had been accepted Elliot continued to help. He offered to assist with marketing the property for rent, make himself available to conduct viewings and allow tradespeople access to complete the necessary certification, all with the aim of helping us reduce our void period. That level of support has been invaluable and demonstrates that he genuinely cares about his clients rather than simply completing a sale. To top it all off, during one of our conversations Elliot joked that we were the first limited company to purchase a property through Jacobs Prestige Properties, so apparently we’ve won a prize… a branded doormat! Haha. It’s a small gesture, but it perfectly sums up the personal service we’ve received throughout. We’re looking forward to receiving it and, more importantly, we hope this is the first of many deals we do together in the future. We didn’t end up going ahead with selling in the end, but Jacobs Prestige Properties were by far the best estate agents we spoke to in Forest Town/Mansfield. From the first property valuation, Elliott was professional, honest and incredibly knowledgeable about the Forest Town housing market. He took the time to explain what our home was really worth and what to expect from selling a property in the current market, without any pressure or unrealistic promises.
