We had a great experience with JD Wood in Weybridge. Ruby handled the negotiations and the correspondence between the owners and lawyers and Quinton did most of the viewings. What an amazing team, Ruby was always quick to respond and kept us informed the whole way and did everything to make both sides happy and Quinton was like something out of grand designs, pointing out all the things we could do with the property and how to maximise the space and opportunities. The team (Tom, Ruby and Quinton) worked very well together, with Ruby taking the lead role in negotiations with myself, and keeping me updated as the sale process worked its way through. Ruby’s strong relationships with my local solicitor and the buyer’s estate agent agent kept the chain on track at key moments. The house sold was that of my mother’s after she sadly passed away. John d wood We decided to sell our rental property in Weybridge through John D Wood after a positive and enthusiastic conversation with Tom Barham, the office manager. They Set up 10 viewings in days resulting in 3 potential offers. Each potential buyer was well qualified, assessed and recommendations made. Unfortunately our chosen buyer withdrew after 6 weeks. At this point it felt like the whole office went into overdrive and viewings were organised in hours! They found a perfect buyer and we completed in a month. It was a brilliant experience dealing with the team - responsive, calls answered in seconds, calls returned, great solicitor recommendations and the sale went through smoothly. An unfortunate experience with this office. Definitely there are better agents than JD Wood in the area. Their professionalism and ability to resolve issues is minimal - They claim their job ends when the keys are handed over, with zero interest if what they hand over is according to the contract. They simply do not care and they are merely transactional and when you try to escalate it internally the entire office is just disrespectful.... Read more
