Just purchased a property for Hamptons. The whole experience was managed very professionally, good communication from the agent (Ryan) always returned my calls and emails. No hesitation in recommending Hamptons for buying or selling.

The worst Property Agent ever, I was about to view the house today and MR. Lewis Ballantye told me that we will cancell the appointment becouse someone is offering of it .
I had prepare everything to move to that property and also had the money in cash too .

First they are nice by talking to you and emailing but after they are rude.
Will never recommend to no one .
Worst property agent ever !
Tremendous service. Polite, attentive and focussed. Within days of placing the house on the market we were accommodating multiple viewings a day for a few busy weeks and quickly received an attractive offer. We encountered some niggles on the upward chain and the Curchods team went the extra mile, providing support and maintaining excellent communication with multiple parties throughout the chain. I have no hesitation in recommending Curchods.
Review as a tenant and based on ending a tenancy. Start of my tenancy was with a different letting agents which was then switched to Curchods mid tenancy.
Please note I tried to be as helpful and courteous of a tenant as possible, happily let them take photos and measurements for advertising. Always left the property clean and tidy. Even left the property to allow for viewings whenever they wanted, as I knew staying in the property can sometimes be awkward. Even helped explain certain aspects of the property.
Hoped to be treated in a similar way at end of my tenancy. Unfortunately not. Was charged an extortionate rate for minor things.
-Was charged for cleaning, which is fair if it was needed, but when I asked for a receipt, they could not provide one because they didn't actually get a cleaner in. Was told the charge was for "compensation". Note we actually had the property professionally cleaned.
-Was also charged for damages. Which I considered fair wear and tear, 1 was a low level scuff mark, barely visible, no wall or paint damage but was 8+cm long and 2 small stain lines on a window sill, 0.5-1cm in length and no more than 2mm in width. Again they didn't actually carry out any work/repairs, so clearly wasn't a big deal. Just charged me for "compensation".
Tried to briefly challenge, they couldn't care less and fobbed me off. I didn't want a long drawn out process to dispute further, just took the hit.
I had left properties in much worse states in the past and got all my deposit back. They clearly just want to try and keep as much of your deposit as possible.
Been renting 10+ years and this is of course my own personal experience. If you disagree with my opinion then please disregard this review.
We have nothing but praise for the Weybridge office of John D Wood. Chris, Adrian & Tom were always positive, friendly and helpful. We were kept up to date at all times and they successfully negotiated a sale and purchase for us. We would have no hesitation in recommending them to others.
I would advise anyone to avoid renting through John D Wood. Our agent, James did not represent our needs and on numerous occasions went against our wishes which eventually culminated with him raising our rent to more than we had already agreed with the landlord.
JDW continued to show people around our flat after we'd made an offer and paid for referencing, entertaining another higher offer forcing us to up our asking price after all other estate agents had removed the flat from the market.
We were manipulated and essentially blackmailed into paying above what had been agreed and threatened we'd lose out and lose our referencing fee if we did not act in a short space of time.
Estate agents are abysmal at the best of times but JDW are particularly untrustworthy, money grabbing, capricious, crooks.
I would like to thank Tierney and Claudia and the Jackson Stops team for they support, managing all in a highly professional manner. All went smoothly and I would definitely recommend Jackson-Stops.
I have rented through Jackson-Stops (Weybridge) for about 2 years and have, to date, found the experience painless. Regular notifications when issues arise and prompt resolution to same. Easy to contact and prompt responses by return. It works!
