I bought my house from Jowett and stone back in August 2025, the whole team were beyond fantastic , having been a home owner before and been through the process of buying and selling (renting too) I’ve used a few different estate agents and moving forward I won’t be using anyone else other than Jowett and stone.
They were always accommodating with viewings that worked around us and the seller, they had a very proactive approach Whilst the sale went through and were always in contact with myself (buyer) the seller and both solicitors.
Emily was a real gem giving lots of advise throughout the process and Alison always keeping us in loop.

We had our property on the market for 6 months with Connells so lost count how many viewings but no offers. I reached out and spoke to Karen who I knew from years ago, Adam came round to value and immediately gave us feedback to fix the place up a bit - just give the front door a lick of paint, declutter a bit etc and we got an offer from the first viewing. We were happy for the constructive feedback! It meant be sold the place!
During the rest of the process Ali kept us in the loop and of any hurdles (as you often find). And when it came to crunch points the guys in the office were very obliging to let me borrow a pen and paper when all my stuff was in boxes. Great service, frank feedback to help you sell and I think they know trade very well - thanks all!

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Jowett and Stone. From the very beginning, Adam was so helpful, clear, and upfront about our property and its value. He took the time to explain things properly and made sure we felt confident in every step, which really put our minds at ease.
Karen was also amazing throughout the whole process – she checked in with us regularly, often every week, and towards the end when things got a bit more intense she was in touch even more. That made such a difference because we always felt supported and never left wondering what was going on.

Couldn’t have asked for better estate agent. I placed my house for sale in April and Jowett and stone were extremely reliable and consistent with any updates or answers to any questions I had. Considering the process of selling a house is extremely stressful and overwhelming, Jowett and Stone never left me questioning what the next step was or worrying if the house would sell. When putting our house on the market we did the usual process of meeting multiple estate agents to get a feel for the companies and gauge the prices. I’d done extensive research myself and Jowett and Stone came out the closest to where I’d placed it. What impressed me was Adam’s attention to detail and his genuine understanding of statistics and the market. Some had the ‘fake it till you make it’ vibe but it was evident from day one that Adam was a ‘do it properly, do it right’ sort of person. He was honest without being brutal about the price and selling features. Getting to market was a smooth and easy process. You will feel safe and secure with the team looking after you. We agreed it would work best if I show people around as I was a stay home mum and this flexibility mean I could accept all enquiries so I can’t comment on that side of things other than to say I quite enjoyed it and the staff were always very quick with feedback from viewings and there was a lot of interest, so clearly our house was well marketed and on all the correct platforms. What I will say is whilst I was more than happy with service to this point I had absolutely no idea how utterly invaluable having an agent was AFTER we accepted our offer. We had a few stumbling blocks lower down the chain and the team at Jowett and Stone chased, updated, cajoled and kept the wheels turning. Due to our circumstances we were hoping to complete by a certain date and they, knowing this, really kept communication going between us and our buyers, our buyers’ agents. The buyers agents and solicitors lower down the chain. I don’t often write reviews because I feel like people don’t need praising for ‘just doing their job’ but when people go above and beyond I do always try to spread the word- I think my review speaks for itself really. If you’re thinking about going with Jowett and Stone I highly recommend them.

From the very first meeting, the level of service and attention to detail was 2nd to none. As the process moved forward they were constantly looking at ways to keep the interest alive, refreshing the wording and taking additional photos, as the garden moved through the seasons. All the viewings were accompanied and they actively promoted their properties even if the buyers were not requesting that particular property's details. They also always obtained feedback from the viewers without us having to chase. This is a dedicated small team who all have the same passion for selling your property. We cannot recommend them highly enough.

Jowett & Stone were an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish.
Adam visited me initially to offer a valuation and discuss the "Ts & Cs" and I liked that they prefer to work on a percentage fee rather than fixed price because naturally it's in everybody's interest from a sales perspective to get the "best price". Others offered a fixed price which, whilst based on a similar sales price to start with, only led to the seller suffering if the price was subsequently reduced.
Philippa subsequently escorted potential viewers around for all viewings "during working hours" whilst I looked after "out of hours" viewings; and there was regular dialogue for the entirety that I was on their books, even the quiet months during the second half of last year when there was minimal activity in the market generally. I appreciated that they suggested ways of increasing the marketing exposure without simply looking to reduce the price!
Following the agreed sale, Alison would call me at least weekly to update me on progress with the contractual elements.
Although I had minimal involvement with Karen (as I didn't need to chase them because they were always "on the ball"); when I did speak with Karen, I found her courteous and extremely professional.
Comparing Jowett & Stone (my selling agent) with my intended buying agent is like comparing chalk and cheese but I will leave that for another day (and another not so glowing review!!)
I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Jowett & Stone.

Adam provided very useful advice regarding preparing my very tired ex-rental property for sale, including putting me in touch with tradespeople who could get the work done quickly.
Due to the unusual position of my purchaser, things didn’t go particularly smoothly, however Adam and Karen addressed the issues with the solicitors quickly and efficiently, and really went above and beyond to ensure the sale completed.
They provided real value for money with the service provided, and really demonstrated that when things don’t go according to plan it really does pay to have a professional who really is a true expert in their field.

The first time we met Adam when viewing a property, we could just tell this was a different and personalised estate agent. No hard selling and pressure like we had from some of the other Blaby estate agents (which frankly I found rude and off putting!). Adam was friendly, informative and polite when showing us round houses. He also called for feedback on our viewings which not many agents did when we viewed properties (which I found odd as we were buying chain free so should have been attractive buyers for sellers).
Although we ended up buying a house through another agent, it was a no brainer to use Jowett & Stone when we came to sell my empty property.
The whole team are brilliant and incredibly professional, informative and kept me up to date regularly without any prompting needed.
Estate agent fees are pretty much the same whoever you go with and in the past I’ve very much begrudged paying them! This time, I feel Adam, Karen and team were worth every penny.
I can’t recommend Jowett and Stone highly enough and will most definitely use them again. You won’t be disappointed if you buy or sell with them.

To put it simply… use Jowett & Stone!
My journey with J&S started with Adam, who came to value my house, and lay out their process and fees. He was very knowledgable, and clearly laid out his market research he had done, to show me why he valued my house at what he did. I was happy with the value, and it must of been correct as it sold on the first day for the asking price, which I was extremely happy with! I was also happy with the fees they charged.
Now not to take anything away from Adam, but the true magic of J&S that made it worth every penny was Karen! I truly believe that without Karen, my house chain would not of completed. She was absolutely on the ball. She chased up and down the entire chain non stop, making sure everyone was pushing and getting moving. She was always on the other end of the phone to answer my many questions (a god send!). She replied to every email promptly. She stood up for us when people in the chain were trying to mess us around and keep changing the dates. She honestly was the cog that kept the entire machine turning and she was absolutely priceless!
I couldn’t recommend Jowett & Stone any more. You will 100% not get this service at a cheaper alternative. Having a friendly familiar team of people always at the other end of the phone during such a stressful and long process, is an absolute god send.
Thank you so much to Karen and the whole Jowett and Stone team! We can now enjoy our new house this Christmas thanks to your great work.

Use this estate agents! Jowett and Stones have been nothing but professional, helpful and generally fantastic to work with. I bought a house through them and they have been so useful. Karen has been so friendly throughout the process of buying a house, she has gone the extra mile to really support me and the seller. Someone always answered the phone, and on the one occasion no-one answered they rang me back within about 5 minutes. Every phone call was professional and Karen really made me feel at ease asking questions that were probably silly ones but as a newbie to house buying I knew nothing about. She happily explained things, arranged contractors and supported me wherever possible. I couldn't recommend Jowett and Stone highly enough!
