We are quite simply as astounded at the level of service James provided in getting our house on the market and subsequently purchased. Throughout the whole process James was always easily contracted and fully transparent when it came to the different aspects of the sale, during which, he provided all the information we needed in a way that was understandable and contacted various people on our behalf, taking the anxiety out of the process. So, I'm going to gush a little here as I think the recommendation is incredibly well deserved. I approached Jo just over three weeks ago as, in her previous life as a solicitor, we had worked together before and I had been enjoying the quirkiness of her LinkedIn feed and profile. It was just something a bit different and actually gave me a better sense of who she is and what she is about than most others I was considering. Best move I have ever made. My flat, in Edinburgh, was marketed within the week and sold three days after that to a cash buyer that was prepared to pay significantly more than the home report and who wanted a quick completion. It was a stellar piece of work. And that's without talking about the extra mile she went for me by diving into some gardening I couldn't do myself as I live in England these days. What I have done for the last fifteen years has a lot of similarity to sales. I've worked with a lot of incredible people that work based on their client's best interests rather than just their own. And Jo would absolutely be in that company. Jo, if you ever decide that the house flipping game isn't for you any more, I'd do my level best to convince you to work here! There is no one who deserves praise more than Colleen Scott. Unlike so many others, she is there to accommodate the sellers’ needs - not her own. I viewed a house being sold by Graham Leitch and he is the worst estate agent I've ever dealt with. I have moved house several times and met many agents but this guy is just rude and arrogant. We had driven 100 miles round trip to view the property and he knew that. He refused to allow me to view the loft and made comment "why would anyone want to view the loft". I was shocked. I reckon that he just couldn't be bothered, maybe just laziness. There are numerous reasons why I wanted to view the loft and no agent (or home owner) has ever denied me access to do this. The fact that Graham leitch is unaware of any such reasons, i suggest he's in the wrong job. The result is that we did not feel comfortable making offer on the property.... Read more

We chose KW because we really liked the agent and were keen to have a more personal experience selling our home. Jo was friendly, straightforward and made the process as easy as possible for us, also going out of her way to help us in our search for our new home. We were selling in a popular area of edinburgh and so on reflection we probably ended up paying quite a bit more for the KW service when our property likely would have sold and achieved over the valuation just as easily with another agent. The cost of standard processes such as home report and photography are comparable with other local competitors, however the commission is significantly more which means you need to weigh up whether it is worth the investment or not. We had a great experience with Jo but probably have paid over the odds to sell our property this time.... Read more

We had an excellent experience with Thomas as our agent. Selling over the winter during COVID restrictions might hardly be the best time to find that you need to sell your property. Add to that the frustration of being stranded overseas, and we really needed someone who could work hard for us and Tom certainly did that. We recently bought a property on the Isle of Arran through kw Caledonia and Alistair Lee was excellent. Just what you hope an Estate Agent would be like. Sensible, not pushy, open to talking about the property, knowledgeable. My Solicitor also spoke with him and was complimentary. We looked at two different properties through Alistair and he organised the visits exactly as we wanted (to fit the ferry and the need to do the viewings on the same day close together so we would not be travelling too long for obvious reasons). He knew both the properties and the photos were great and plentiful and we used the walk through video as well both before the viewing and after and it was very high quality. Very happy to recommend.
