Home buying in London can be very stressful, daunting and a lengthy process, but our experience was made very smooth and with maybe only little hiccups with Langford Rae, Orpington branch. The entire team was very supportive and helpful throughout. Local estate agents with very nice people who are a pleasure to deal with.
After a couple of valuations from other agents we decided to try Langford Rae and were very satisfied by the experience. There was no nonsense, no crazy high valuation, no trying talk up houses they were selling, no bravado, just an honest appraisal of our home and the market locally.
They came up with a solution for viewing which best suited us and minimised inconvenience and we were pleasantly surprised when we sold and found we had exceeded our asking price.
Had a complicated and protracted move but they were always helping and looking for solutions.
The staff went out of their way to help even coming down with vacuum cleaners and mops to help us clean up and move out on the day when our removals company let us down badly.
Can't recommend highly enough.

Back in May 2013 I went to view a flat in Chislehurst. It was beautifully refurbished to a very high spec. and I instantly fell in love with the place and the surrounding area. I then met my Landlord Neil Durrant to discuss all the paperwork etc. He was nothing but kindness itself, very approachable, informative and professional in every sense of the word. Ar times over the past years appliances needed fixing, changing etc. Whenever I called the Company to discuss these matters, I was always met with a welcoming and understanding manner on every aspect , and whatever needed to be fixed was done quickly, efficiently and to a very high standard. I have been very happy with my beautiful accommodation and the excellent service provided by my Landlord and Langford Rae.

A year ago my long-term tenants unexpectedly had to move out from my property due to financial difficulties. Having managed the property myself for a number of years due to previous issues with letting agents I needed someone to help find some new tenants. Langford Rae were close by so I contacted them for info on their services.
Right from the first moment of contact they were polite, friendly and professional. Both their website and the documentation they sent me was clear, concise and accurate. They immediately became my first choice of the few companies I had contacted.
Before the house even went on the market, Langford Rae had found me new tenants. All the processes went very smoothly and Langford Rae went above and beyond their responsibilities to help get the tenants installed. I was so impressed I even set a crate of wine to their office as a Thank You for their super efforts!
