Glenn & Ivan’s sale was now involved in an already highly emotional chain, the reason for this long intro is to give some kind of idea how they both dealt with this situation.

I recently purchased our family home through Edmund. Even though they were working for the vendors, they were very respectful and courteous and got back with clarifications at the earliest possible opportunity.
They were also technically competent and able to answer or obtain answers for all our queries.
We had multiple site visits and surveys and they were always willing to help co-ordinate access to the property at a time available suitable for the tradesmen.
On the whole a very pleasant experience.

I met Ivan 4 years ago and we kept in touch, he was the only Agent out of a bunch that I met who was completely down-to-earth and professional.
When it came time to sell my property in Orpington I knew who to call. Ivan and Glenn have been a wonderfully supportive team looking after the selling of my property, clear feedback, and always keeping me in the loop. They worked tirelessly even having to hold my hand and explain how some things in the UK property market are different from house sales in NZ or Scotland. Being polite to my neighbors, and keeping me calm when I didn't understand the process. With patience and a smile, I adore these two and they got my house sold all done and dusted in 8 weeks from offer to completion and exchange.

Ivan Epps has been a reliable constant in our lives since 1987. That year he not only sold us the house we still live in but helped us sell our previous property. Since then Edmund have sold my daughter a house, sold a house for my daughter, sold my house, within days of it going on the market, (the sale was later aborted by us). During that valuation it became apparent that Edmund were the only agent that was clear in the way that they would handle the sale.
It was important to us that there needed to be little confusion for both us as the seller, and any potential buyer.
The actual selling process was handled with professionalism and once a realistic offer was received, the process to actual completion was straightforward and easily achieved.
For a realistic sale of your I cannot recommend Edmund highly enough.

Extremely positive experience with Edmund's when selling our deceased mother's house recently. Ivan's many years of experience and knowledge of the local area is evident. Ivan was great. I know poeple say any estate agent can take photos and post to Right Move. But once you have a buyer - keeping everything moving, making sure both sides were informed and following up and what needed to happen and when - was a huge benefit. I don't believe every estate agent would do that and Ivan did it exceptionally well.

From valuation to completion the team at Orpington were professional and helpful. Unfortunately, we had a complicated chain and there were a few fretful moments but Glenn was fantastic. After changing estate agents I got the best professional service and sold my house very quickly. Because I was buying a new build house I had to exchange very quickly. Glenn progressed my sale at the highest standard making sure all involved were able to exchange quickly. It is the most stressful experience moving home but Glenn has a way of keeping you very calm and does all the very hard work behind the scenes. I was kept in the picture at all times with very informative telephone calls and emails.

I've always been sceptical of estate agents in the past, but you needn't worry with Edmunds in Orpington.
In fact, we've been so impressed in the past, I have now used them on 3 separate occasions to buy and sell houses, over the past 10 years. They are a small, local friendly team and they give honest advice, to their customers. Sure, there are other Edmunds branches, but I would always use the team in Orpington, because they are very friendly and incredibly hardworking. Even 3 years after buying our current house, I still keep in touch, and when we needed a quick valuation to secure some additional borrowing our extension, Ivan and Glenn were on hand and were able to organise a quick, straightforward visit and provide the necessary paperwork. There was no business in it for them, but they were quick to oblige and didn't charge a fee for the valuation, and undertook this effortlessly.
I have to say that having previously had dealings with other estate agents in the Orpington and Petts Wood area (I wont mention any firms by name), I have to say I have found Orpington Edmunds by far to be the best, for their customer service, their honest feedback and their reasonable fees.
I'm not currently looking to sell, but when we do, I will be using Edmunds in Orpington. Many thanks.

Both Ivan and Glenn have exceptional knowledge and understanding of the housing market in and around Orpington which has clearly been built up over many years. Lots of wise words of advice and neither can be faulted for their unfailing and unrelenting determination to make things as smooth, straightford and stress free as possible. Polite, energetic and committed to making things happen I suggest you REALLY want these guys involved, regardless of whether you are a buyer or seller. I am a landlord and have a house in Orpington . Edmund Estate Agent have been my letting agent for six years during which time they have successfully located and security cleared good tennants . They also deal with finances . As a team they are efficient and friendly . I would not consider using any other agent and give them a five star rating .

All the team at Edmund, Orpington were just wonderful. We sold our house through them and just cannot thank them enough for their help, advice, support, professionalism and proactive approach. Every member of the team kept us informed throughout the selling process. We have moved a few times over the years and Edmund are far and away the best estate agents we have ever dealt with. We cannot recommend them highly enough and if it were possible to give them ten stars we would.

The whole team at Edmund in Orpington were absolutely fantastic with both the sale of our property and the purchase of our new house. We were kept brilliantly informed and viewings were always done when convenient for us and it really felt like they were very positive about our property. We actually purchase our new house through Edmunds as well and the whole process was made as stress free as it can be by Edmunds. Ivan, Glenn and Julia were brilliant at helping us move everything along and kept us updated every step of the way. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I can highly recommend the team at Edmund Orpington. They are extremely professional and helpful and deal with all queries efficiently. Nothing is too much trouble and they make sure the whole process is a lot less painful than it could be. The 'personal touch' is definately much better than the online options and I cant praise Ivan and Glenn enough.

We bought our house from these agents. Very friendly and efficient. I don't know how much they cost, but they are good. The footfall outside isn't great, so you might not get so many people looking at your house through the window, but everyone looks online these days. For some weird reason, they don't have the prices of the houses in the window.
