We were searching a new rental accommodation in Redhill due to work from office as we were based in Newcastle so It was tough for us to physically present there and view rental accommodation. Then we contacted Madeleine and Lewis from Leaders who immediately recommended an amazing flat. They both did a super job of responding to all my queries promptly. Even initially Flat was offered to some else then also they were sharing new listed rental property regularly. On walking into Leaders in Redhill, I was promptly and warmly welcomed. I spoke with Maddie to explain my need to rent my Apartment, and subsequently was introduced to Jean the Branch Manager to discuss how Leaders could assist me; I was also offered a coffee which was appreciated.
I had a busy work schedule along with the need to pack and move, and was really relieved and pleased to hear that Leaders could assist me in arranging everything in respect to the Rental. A visit by Jean to my apartment was arranged with one of her colleagues to film a virtual tour and photos were taken. My apartment was soon advertised and multiple viewings arranged on a single date. The viewings were conducted by both Samuel and Maddie, both enthusiastic and professional, and their efforts were endorsed by offers for the property being promptly received.
After accepting an offer, both Jean and Maddie assisted me in preparing my Apartment for Rental. They have all the contacts needed and took care of arranging everything for me, including Gas and Electrical checks, cleaning, a handy man for a couple minor repairs and the Inventory. I have been so happy with the friendly and efficient service I have received, resulting in my Apartment being rented without delay. The service at Leaders in Redhill is simply excellent prompting me to right this review ! Thank you Jean, Maddie and Samuel.

I'm in the process of renting a property with Leaders and so far my experience has been great. I've initially met Jean, she was very helpful, gave me plenty of information as I'm new to the area and guided me through the renting process. The communication after my initial visit was very good, I've dealt with Tom and Lewis. They've both been really helpful answering all my questions and following up when they said they would. Very friendly bunch, it has been a pleasure dealing with the team :)

I have had a really great experience with Leaders Redhill. As I lived very far from Redhill, I have been struggling for months looking for a place to rent. Leaders was the first letting agent who is willing to do virtual viewing through Facetime and this makes the overall process so much convenient, especially for people like me where travelling and viewing a property in-person is a huge issue. I would also like to give a big shout out to Lewis Burke who always keep me updated throughout every step of the process and make sure everything is in place and ready for me. Terrible experience trying to reclaim funds back for a service I've paid for.
My washing machine leaked one day and Romans confirmd they had booked an enginner for me, when he arrived i had to pay for his call out fee despite not seeing anything wrong with it.
Romans confimred i would be reimbursed for this and then 3 or 4 weeks later despite me providing everyrthing i was then told the landlord wouldnt reimburse me as he thought i was trying it on. So a further delay.
I have Multiple emails from romans confirming i would be reimbursed and just before my contact went on holiday he confirmed that Romans would be paying me. 2 weeks on from that and still nothing. Why is it my duty to chase and chase for an update...why aren't your guys being proactive. This has been nearly 6-8 weeks, its ridiculous

Despite our house being a little quirky Leaders stuck us with what proved to be a difficult sale prior to appointing them. Daniel and Collette are amazing and the communication is second to none.
They were with us every step of the way, remembering at all times that we were the clients.
Having used two agents prior to Leaders, one of which we are pursuing legal action against for fraudulent activity, Leaders by far and away surpassed our expectations and I would have no hesitation to recommending them to others.

Having found myself in the position of looking for a rental property, the last few weeks have meant numerous interactions with many estate agents and without a doubt Leaders have been the best i've dealt with.
I've had calls with other agents within the last few days where i was made to feel unimportant and even at times that i was an inconvioence for even calling them. However The lettings team lead by Jean was the opposite end of the spectrum. Leaders were extremly quick returning my enquiry and very effcient arranging a viewing the same day. I w2as made to ffel valued at every stage. Freya was an exceptionally professional and knowledagble agent. There was a slight hiccup reagrding the keys to the propery but this was resolved quickly and without drama. The property was great and Freya could answer all of my questions even the silly ones :)
I did not make an offer on the property but this was purely down to my own preferrences and no reflection on the service from Leaders. I have no problems using Leaders in the future or recomending them to freinds, family or collegues. Even though i did not proceed with the property i viewed, Leaders still made me feel like a valued customer.

Avoid at all costs.. not only this branch but the company. The rent guarantee being forced is fraudulent and the pushing of no deposit because staff are incentivised on it. Do not care for clients best interests. Staff are treated like numbers and part of the fire and rehire scheme. Many have lost jobs only to be offered the same role with lies on less money.
Avoid LRG at all cost.

No professionalism, ownership, and customer service. They simply don't care about you. They only care about rent and direct debits. If you call or visit the branch for any request, they ask you to email, but they never respond. Especially for Indian community please avoid this agency as they don't seem to take our request seriously. I heard from other Indian living in Redhill that other lettings are far better. They will treat you very nicely when you approach to rent or buy, i.e, the first time, but once the deal is over, you mean nothing to them. Indian community please avoid this letting agent. Thanks.

I rented a flat and I had written down in offer letter that I want professional carpet cleaning and the flat to be redecorated. They laid that everything was done but in reality it wasn't! I moved into a property 2 weeks ago started messaging about problems within the 4th day non stop sound/damp/mold Issues with the house it’s funny really because underneath is are landlord (Wilf Harrarld) stating that leaders have done a wonderful job with his tenants but I’m his new tenant and ive very unhappy and angry that we have been lied to when full well leaders and the landlord knew The house has a rising damp and sound issues problem through out the house which no one mentioned prior to moving .Tenants leaving every 6months due to damp/sound problems which the landlord and leaders know all about yet nothing has been done in years previous tenants have also been complaining about this issues yet nothing been done my advice don’t get lied to use another agency !

It seems that leaders prioritise the people who choose to go with there 0 deposit scheme (something which costs an additional £500 a year and something they clearly make commission on from the renter's). We had a property offered to us and once we had told them we weren't going for this additional scheme. The offer was rescinded and the property given to someone else. Very sneeky tactics.

I would very much advise people to avoid Leaders.
There is one particular person whom is rude and obnoxious, this person is a woman representative from Leaders, the woman in question is very unprofessional.
If by any reason this person is meet while out driving, this person becomes very uptight, confrontational and will accuse other people of being threatening towards her.
Overall a very big disappointment, very unprofessional.

I have had a few complications with my tenancy, but I can honestly say J.F at leaders has been very accommodating and helpful, I couldn't have asked for more. I have always felt at ease and reassured that the issues I was experiencing at hand were being swiftly dealt with. I usually get very anxious waiting with things like this but I havent been anxious once with J.F helping me with my enquiries. I would reccomend leaders for renting or home buying they are professional, efficent and lovely staff members.

I've been really pleased with the service provided by Leaders in Redhill / Horsham (Jean, Jake and the team). As far as the end-to-end package goes (tenancy provision, property management etc) it's been one of the most professional I've used. New Tenant vetting has always been effective and overall property management has been handled promptly and without fuss. The team are courteous and willing to see the job through (I'm sure that it isn't always plain sailing from their perspective!). I got extremely bad experience with dealing with Leaders. Last December,2019 I have viewed one of property through them in Horsham and I have asked two times about the service charges & any other agreement (even in written email) and they confirmed that there is no service charges as house is freehold. Later on, once sale process started , there was at agreement in place with £350 p/a – Very shocking and at the end I have to roll back from offer – Waste of time & money.
Month later, I did mistake again as I viewed another flat in Redhill through Leaders, I’ve offered 10K less of the asking price , offer rejected then I’ve even offered the asking price of the flat but again they put me on hold and it has been more then two weeks they haven’t even told me that my offer is accepted or rejected. Called them couple of times, but to be honest, the ways I found Leaders are working complete unprofessional and lie. I’ve marked them BLACK List in never ever going to view a property through them. I'm now middle of buying a property from another local agent (Home Partnership) and believe me, there is a huge different of services - Leaders should learn from other local agents how to do the job.

10 years ago I moved to London with little to no people there to help; Leaders were amazing then, as they are today. Any issue with the apartment they act quickly and make sure to contact you the way you want to be contacted to let you know what’s going (especially being disabled little things can be magnified; so they are so perfect for me). Jonathan @ their Reigate & Redhill Office is constantly fantastic when ever there is a need.
Luck = opportunity crossing the path of good planning. Leaders are more than just luck.

I have never understood why people are so derogatory about estate agents having had reasonable experiences before but I have to say how appalled and very disappointed I am in the service from Tony & Ryan at Redhill. Initially they were very keen and kept me informed, giving me feedback etc but after 3 weeks or so Tony stopped returning my calls or communicating with me. I had to chase feedback constantly and he told me he was going to ring me at certain times and he never did, leaving me to constantly chase him. The few viewings I did have after that time smacked of desperation in that most people didn't seem that interested. At no point did anyone say it was priced wrongly in fact I was encouraged to keep things as they were. They took some terrible photos and had to use some from the online agency I was with before (through which in hindsight delivered a much better service). They promised numerous times over several weeks that their photographer would come round again but each time they said he was coming he never turned up. Tony it transpires was over at another branch most of the time selling their houses and not mine. Ryan didn't seem interested in selling my house himself but in fairness he did give me feedback on the viewings I had after that. However I, by this stage, had become very frustrated and decided to take the property off the market with a view to remarketing in the autumn. Unfortunately things got worse when I requested the keys back where Ryan said several times over a 10 day period that they would drop them on on ‘such as such’ day at ‘such and such’ a time and each time this did not happen. After the fourth phone call to Ryan I got annoyed (the first and only time I was ever impatient) and he then decided I couldn't have the keys back unless I came to pick them up and then hung up on me (although I did suggest he might be an idiot for being so inept as to not return my keys after several appointments to do so, in all honesty - well come on enough is enough). When I rang him back he was still saying that I had to come and pick them up until I asked him if he was refusing to return my keys to me as per our agreement. He actually become quite aggressive at that point and told me I didn't deserve for him to spend his time coming to drop them off and it was only when I asked him if he was refusing to return my keys and that I would be officially complaining that he relented and said he would return them this evening. I am totally at a loss as to why people are both so inept and then cannot hold their hands up when they are in the wrong time and time again. They had already previously apologised to me for the shoddy service they gave in relation to selling my house and then they compound it in this way. I am a reasonable person always treat everyone with the same respect I would expect and then as a customer I am treated with a complete lack of regard, any semblance of efficiency and to top it all off withholding my keys because I had the nerve to take my property off the market with them. I am very disappointed because I actually liked these people and trusted them to provide a good service, they let me down badly and I will view all other agents tainted with this experience sadly.

We rented through Leaders for a couple of years (2017-2019) and they were always spot on!
Laura Risby, our property manager, in particular was always friendly, helpful and straight back by email and phone. We had a couple of plumbimg issues at the start which were sorted within hours and our deposit was returned within a few days of moving out. Renting can be an unpleasant experience, but Laura made it a pleasure.

Consistently good and efficient. I have been using Leaders for nearly ten years now and to date provided good tenants with a very efficient service. If needed their IT is first class which enables contracts to be signed remotely via docusign which is invaluable for progressing lets as quickly as possible to minimise any void periods. Charging is fair and in line with the local market price for what is an above average service.

Had a lovely property in Redhill and Leaders were quality with every aspect of the move in, very quick & responsive and understood our concerns (Unlike my current agents). We had to leave early due to unforeseeable circumstances and they handled it so well. Only gripe I did have was when we left, we had the place cleaned but was told by leaders we hadn't had the carpets steam cleaned which we did and I personally witnessed, ended up having to pay for cleaning twice which i felt was ridiculous seeing as the cleaner we used offered to go and do it for free a second time but was not allowed access. But that does not takeaway from my overall experience and I would definitely use again. (Use their recommended cleaner).

I have been renting with Leaders since it was Lanes Lettings, for thirteen years and over two properties and I would highly recommend them. From our first enquiry about a property to completion, Debbie Fuller (Redhill Branch) and Camilla Esmond (Worthing Branch) demonstrated magnificent customer service, consistently doing everything they could to update us on proceedings and proactively chase people up where required.
Unlike other estate agents we have dealt with, not once did they attempt to sell us any service we did not need and instead offered us impartial advice.

Have failed to communicate with the landlord with the information that was disclosed right from the beginning, causing landlord drop-out at the last day, leaving us without any options. Had to find place to stay for a few weeks (which in turn caused our pockets to go thinner as we had to stay in a hotel) to start over the property hunting right from the beginning. Also had to get additional days off work to deal with the search which turned more urgent. Major inconvenience caused by the incompetent staff members. Not to mention stress levels, probably shaved a few years off our lives. Was thinking of billing them for all the expenses, but didn't even get an apology. Would not recommend. STAY AWAY.
