I live 212 miles away from Aberystwyth and needed an estate agent to market my parents cottage in Talybont.
I booked a couple of estate agents to value the property for when I was next in the area.
LHJ’s were the only one to confirm, almost immediately, via text and email. They messaged me with a reminder the week before, and on the day of viewing I got a confirmation phone call. Nick D did the valuation and was extremely professional. The property had been empty for three years, but Nick could see the beauty and potential of my parents home. There was no competition LHJ’s were my first choice to sell the property.
Once their services were engaged I was kept informed throughout the selling process, by the lovely Bethan. I was notified when there was a viewing booked and was kept up to date with feedback. Bethan was extremely helpful and approachable and nothing was too much for her.
The house sale has just completed.
It went smoothly with no problems, I highly recommend LHJ’s and would definitely use them again.

Excellent Service 5 STARS. Just completed a house purchase on a property in Aberystwyth with Lloyd Herbert & Jones of the Aberystwyth branch. I received excellent service from the staff, especially Bethan Jones, and Nick Dowell. The service was very professional, helpful and friendly. They were very knowledgable, and their experience assisted in many ways. They were very accommodating and fixable with viewings, and gave you good amount of time and also ‘space to view’, even at 2 and 3 viewing.
I have over the last 20 years bought and sold several properties as I had letting at that time, therefore have dealt with many Aberystwyth Estate agents, as a buyer and seller therefore and can honestly say ‘hand on heart’ the staff at the office are far superior to any other staff at estate agent local offices. They do more than hand out property details and make viewing appointments. They have good knowledge, advice and give you their time. I give them 5 stars.

We have used Herbert Lloyd and Jones for the last five years for the full management of our rental property. The service has been excellent, helpful staff team who do more than 100% to ensure that our property was looked after and that the tenants were appropriate.
We chose them again to sell our property and again received an excellent service.
Yes there are other estate agents around and we have experienced the services they have to offer as well. So our advice is stick to the the “best”and that’s the staff team at Herbert Lloyd and Jones.
