We recently bought a property being sold by Local Properties & they could not have been more helpful. Julie showed us round for the first visit, explained everything & answered any questions we had. We made an offer the following day & things progressed from there. We did go back for another viewing for measurements, etc. & this time we dealt with Russell. Unfortunately there were a few problems, nothing to do with Local Properties, but they were extremely helpful in sorting things out & Russell kept us informed all the way through. We didn't have a Solicitor but they recommended one, also a removal company & different tradespersons, all of whom have been excellent. Thank you Russell & all at Local Properties.... Read more

Good trustworthy service. Disappointed though that having advised listing at £125K later recommended selling at £100k. Eventually sold for £117k. Obvious overvaluing tactic to get business. Others do same so not really a massive criticism of Local as this is a standard albeit unethical practice. Traditional Estate agent’s should have disappeared a decade ago but until then Local are better than most with fair clear contracts unlike Barkers. Good communication. . Ok value for money . This is a reflection of industry as it is money for old rope. Website could do with an overall but not really an issue as no one looks further than Rightmove. Just go with whoever is cheapest to get your property on Rightmove and list at what you feel is the right value.... Read more

My experience was terrible in my own opinion it was horrible and I in my own opinion would never use these agents again. In my own opinion I would rather sit on a box of rusty nails than use these agents. In my opinion I was completely dissatisfied and I would like again to express in my opinion the complete lack of satisfaction received after using this agency of course this is my own opinion which is deemed lawful to express as it is my own opinion which is allowed to be expressed through google and the businesses willing to accept feedback. Again terrible,horrible,sickening, experience in my OPINION. Oh and finally because this is the truth and can be proven (which means it cannot be defamation) I had to take down my original post because I had included the names and details of people involved here and what happened to us. which caused My OPINIONS!! and so they went to a solicitor and had them tell me that if I didn’t take it down they would take court action ???? they will never change this 1 star review because it’s completely by the books so sorry mystery person who went to the solicitors. I guess the truth to some people hurts i would take a look at all the other 1star reviews and poor reviews on this website there’s a review that says russ,Claire and Sarah very helpful highly recommend and gave a 5 star ???? review wow!!! They must really have been provided an excellent service are these the people who work at the estate agents??? I wouldn’t presume to know such things but Sarah,Russ and Claire hmmm thanks for the review if I was looking at this agency i would definitely take into account the review from yourself it was enlightening ????...
