Emma was always making sure I understood every step of the process, always gave me multiple options and managed my expectations with realistic advice.
There was many complications around the type of property we wanted to purchase and as we were specific, it made Emma’s job more difficult. However you’d never have guessed that because she was brilliant - such a nice person to deal with.
Cant truly articulate how great our experience has been with Emma and the Manners and Harrison team but my wife and I are incredibly grateful.

Decision in principle through to completion is stressful. You need a mortgage advisor, it's definitely worth it. I'm a first time buyer who isn't easily stressed and I already had a good understanding of what's needed to be done. I got my mortgage through Manners & Harrison in July, found a property to buy in October and I'm about to complete just before Christmas. It's sounds cliché to say that they fight your corner but they really do. It was urgent we got in before Christmas as my rental notice ends 31st December, they contacted the estate agents, seller and kept me on track. They also go through your insurance needs and explain everything clearly. I have briefly met some members of staff in passing and they all seem lovely. Hannah is our mortgage advisor who couldn't of been better. Always just a phone call or email away should you need anything. I thought, once we had the mortgage offer that was the end of talks with Hannah but she checked up on me in the late stages before exchange and essentially made exchange happen on time by getting in contact with the sellers estate agents and nudged things along where I couldn't. You can tell it's not just a job for Hannah, she really does care about getting you in your new home. Big thanks to Hannah and the team at Manners & Harrison for helping to make this happen. A nice Christmas bonus or a raise is needed.

I was so impressed with Manners and Harrison and in particular, our mortgage advisor Emma White. Buying a house is already a very stressful time but due to unforeseen circumstances unrelated to our mortgage, our sale and purchase took almost a year to complete. Despite this, Emma was amazing throughout and went above and beyond to help us get to completion. She explained everything so thoroughly and always had time to answer our questions or explain things we weren’t sure about. She was always a phone call away if we needed anything, which we really appreciated. We have recently bought a property that was up for sale with Manners and Harrison. We are first time buyers so this was a very daunting start to the property world. We decided after speaking to several finical advisors that we would use the in house mortgage advisor at Manners, which is through a company called sequence. Laura is just fantastic, she put so much time into making sure we not only got a mortgage, but the one with the best rates ect! Laura talked us through the full process, helped us with insurance, making a will ect. Without her, I know we wouldn’t be in a house of our very own, she literally guided us through everything. Sophie, one of the lovely ladies at manners, thank you for keeping us so upto date throughout the process, so pleasent and polite on the phone and a warm welcoming face in branch. Shyann, the sweetest, most down to earth little bundle of energy. She made us fall in love with our perfect little dream house, she came out to meet us on a few occasions to let us round the property. She is an asset to Manners, made a daunting experience very fun and relaxed. I know there are more to team at manners but I wanted to mention these 3 special lady’s in particular. Absolutely awful customer service towards a potential risk purchaser. I travelled hundreds of miles to view properties and was left stranded outside the first property of the day with not so much as a phone call to let me know the agent wouldn't be able to the up. It was left to me to contact them and I received little in the way of apology. I made it.clear I no longer wished to use them as agents, and bit them farewell but recieved several calls throughout the afternoon to try and encourage me to come back. I can not recommend them as a buyer, and have found other agents to be much more efficient in terms of customer service.
