The services provided have always been extremely professional and efficient, not only with regard to the initial Tenant searches, but also property maintenance issues, recommendation of good quality contractors, plus all legal and financial matters. It has been very reassuring to work with the entire Henfield team, who have been incredibly supportive and knowledgeable in all aspects of property letting. I cannot recommend Marcus Grimes estate agency enough. My partner and I wanted to move into our first country cottage together so contacted the Henfield branch to see what would be available to rent in the local area. Unfortunately there was nothing at the time but the ladies in the office were so incredibly helpful and informative. They took our details with the aim to contact us soon with a property. Within only a week or two we got a phone call saying that they have found us what is now our perfect place.
The booking of the viewing, signing of documents and the moving in process all went so smoothly and efficiently with no issues. The ladies at the Henfield office are very friendly, yet professional, they definitely know what they're doing. I would fully encourage anyone to put faith in the team to guide them through a daunting yet exciting process of renting/buying property.

We decided to explore moving down to the area in November 2020, and contacted a number of letting agents. We met the team at Marcus Grimes early on, and they quickly found us a great property. Our application was successful and we moved in mid-January. It all happened so quickly that we’re still pinching ourselves to check that our ‘back of an envelope’ plan came true. Its been a great move for us and the team at Marcus Grimes, especially Jane, have helped us feel part of the town.
We’ve had a few occasions where we’ve had to contact Marcus Grimes to sort out minor issues with the cottage, all of which have been resolved quickly by their team of friendly trades people.
We’ve been here nearly a year now and we’re still loving the cottage and Henfield. So its a big thank you to the team at Marcus Grimes from Michael and I - and our new puppy!

Marcus Grimes & Co., at the Henfiled office, have been managing two properties for me for years, since they took over the previous agents. They have always been very efficient, often going 'the extra mile' at times when something extra has been needed, sourcing contractors, dealing with difficulties, etc., ... well worth the commission they are paid. The office staff have always been courteous, pleasant and obliging; I have got to know them well and trust them without concern. I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone seeking to let out a property. David Beazley.

I discovered Marcus Grimes in April of this year whilst searching for a rental property, following my return from Australia. Having dealt with a multitude of un-professional, rude, ignorant agents around the Sussex area, it was a breath of fresh air to discover the Henfield branch. From my first telephone conversation with Anne throughout the whole letting and vetting procedure, Anne and her colleagues were always helpful in terms of responding in a timely manner to telephone calls and emails. On the day of the lease being agreed all was done very quickly and I even was given the opportunity to meet the landlords which I thought was a very nice touch. Within 7 days of the lease commencing I met the independent inventory clerk and walked around the property and together we checked what the condition of all areas were. I then was given a further 7 days to make any further comments. Any issues I have had regarding the property have been dealt with swiftly by Marcus Grimes, often the same day. I have recommended the agency to people who are looking to move into the area, as I believe it is very rare to find an agent who is responsive, impartial and works hard for both parties in terms of lettings and sales. Thank you Anne and the team for looking after me so well and for always giving me a wave if you see me walk by!

I live 6,000 miles away and so it is very important that I have complete faith in their ability to do this. Abysmal service, no customer service and they will not bat an eyelid when you complain. I chose Marcus Grimes due to family connections. They gave the preparation to a third party who took three attempts at the document and still get major items wrong and it was not compatible with the TDS documentation requirements. They then refused to include my comments. Such low grade, low value and unprofessional people.
