Absolutely terrible business. We had to do our own viewings on several occasions. And ones we had someone interested. their communication with the buyer and ourselves was terrible, making us almost loose our buyer. So we contacted the buyer ourselves and demanded king and chasemore to stay out of it. King and chasemore made both parties believe that they were the issue in the communications, but after dealing with the sales ourselves, we found out king and chasemore was the issue.
They still demanded almost full price for their "services". And when we protested the amount, there were no records of all the complaints we made, so we had no case.
Avoid steyning king and chasemore, you will end up regretting it if you don't.

He really listened to our brief and came up with the house of our dreams. I don’t think I’ve ever left a bad review for a business before but I honestly had a terrible experience with this branch. Poor communication both with myself and I later found out with the seller too. Took them over a week to do simple things like informing me of an offer on my property. Took them 2 weeks to get back to the buyer about basic questions. Was spoken to in an awful tone on multiple occasions by a member of the team. Was not told I could keep my property on the market during the offer stage. I felt completely unsupported during my first time sale which ultimately failed due to a lack of trust in the estate agent. Both myself and the buyer have been in touch and have found that we have been lied to on several occasions. All I can say is that they seem nice at face value but as soon as anything doesn’t go their way things change very quickly. Support from the area manager has been better but ultimately I think that they have too much on so things inevitably fall through the cracks.

Estate agents can get a fairly bad rap at times but I can honestly say it has been an absolute pleasure dealing with all of the team at K&C.
From the initial meeting with Tim at our home to discuss the marketing of our property it was clear that K&C take a very proactive approach and don't simply just rely on what other properties have sold for in the local area. Their appraisal of our property was truly bespoke and based on their expert knowledge of the property market.
Once we decided to go with K&C the communication at all phases was exemplary. Bruno, Jena, and Reece are absolute professionals who are very easy to talk to and are genuinely interested and invested in not only the sale of your house but also your onward property search.
Not at any point during the sale of our property did we feel under pressure to sell so K&C could get their commission, in fact the team constantly reassured us that the right house would come along and not to force\rush into a purchase.
I would not hesitate in recommending K&C to anyone, you will not be disappointed by the level service you receive. They will be the only estate agents we use in the future.

They viewed my house in Upper Beeding and put it on the market to be sold within two weeks. The staff in the office were excellent and Bruno was a great help when it came to completing forms that I didn't quite understand. Always a professional outlook but a great friendly approach as well. It made visiting and speaking to the staff a pleasure. I also used Countrywide Conveyancing and though because of Covid most things were done from a distance the process was completed successfully and my conveyancing solicitor, Zoe, was a breath of fresh air. Very happy with the whole procedure

If it wasn’t for the fact that Bruno was acting on behalf of one of the sellers in the chain I don’t think it would have completed or if it did it would have taken a lot longer. Under a new manager now from what I hear. Was an absolute nightmare when we dealt with them. They refused to submit our offer on a house because we didn't take out a mortgage through their adviser. With a village, people.talk.to each other. Owner of the property would have accepted as it was more than anything advised to him by KAC.

And....bingo, Amy & Emma found me a buyer within 4 weeks, and also a buyer for my purchasers property. Can't get better than that! The impression I have is that this branch just got on with the job without any unnecessary spiel, glossy leaflets, or company image promotion.
