24th Apr 2026 (10 days ago)We had a fantastic experience with TLC. Zoe Carter was an incredibly responsible, professional and resourceful agent. Right from the get-go they were all over every aspect of the sale and in constant communication with the various parties. She went over and beyond what would have normally been expected of her role - right from coordinating with lawyers to helping with moving furniture! Would highly recommend TLC to other sellers.
17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.
5th Feb 2026 (13 weeks ago)Matt and the team were phenomenal in facilitating the sale of our flat in Hove, helping us navigate various complexities. It was a pleasure being supported by Matt on, at times, a daily basis and his calm, pragmatic approach made a huge difference in some stressful times. They also went above and beyond on a particular matter which impressed us hugely and demonstrated that it's not just about the bottom line. We will be returning to Fine & Country when we're next selling again (hopefully not for 10+ years though!).
15th Apr 2026 (19 days ago)I had an excellent experience renting a rural property in West Sussex through Batcheller Monkhouse, and in particular working with Emma Bagnall. From start to finish, Emma has been outstanding. She handled everything with professionalism, clarity and genuine care. She was consistently responsive, keeping us informed, and taking the time to explain next steps and provide reassurance. Emma was not only efficient and knowledgeable, but also thoughtful and supportive. It genuinely felt like she was invested in helping us secure the right home. Thanks to her guidance and efficient management, we are now moving into what truly feels like a dream home, and I’m very grateful for her role in making that happen. I would highly recommend Emma and the Batcheller Monkhouse team to anyone looking to rent in the area!
2nd Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)I let one of their employees cross the road in front of my car on Greyhound lane, SW16 yesterday. This guy decided to walk in the road, preventing me from driving and resulting in the lights turning red. This shows an arrogance and a lack of consideration for others. Don't sell your house with these (PROFANE LANGUAGE WAS CENSORED).

Neil and Angus were incredibly professional, had great communication and I would definitely recommended and use them personally again in the future.

So helpful with giving us recommendations for contractors and arranging access so we could get the long list of surveys done for the lender. Paul has been a great bridge between us and the seller, making sure we were kept up to date through the process, as well as working closely with our agent and solicitor to ensure a smooth sale through the chain. It has been a pleasure working with Paul through the process and I would highly recommend Fowlers.

I dealt with Abbie mostly who was absolutely fantastic, was on the ball just as much as me! Which really is something! I want things don’t yesterday in terms of paperwork…. If you’re looking for an agent, I wouldn’t hesitate on using Marcus Grimes. They make the stress of selling up that little bit easier. Thanks Marcus, Abbie and team!!

Harry Mishons was was incredibly easy to contact, informative and pragmatic from booking the first viewing, all the way to completion. During the process, they were informative and supportive in ensuring the process went as smoothly as possible while we made sure it was the right purchase for us. Keira and Harry checked in during the process and kept us informed and were very helpful Mishons were also supportive on giving access to the property for further visits, including prior to completion. I am still amazed at how smoothe the buy process was, compared to what I was expecting and Mishons were a huge part of this. I would recommend them to anyone

As a first-time buyer I was quite anxious about the whole process, but the team were consistently helpful, approachable and reassuring throughout. They were always on hand when I needed them and worked incredibly hard behind the scenes to keep things moving. Their advice was professional and straightforward, and they took the time to explain things properly whenever I had questions. That made a big difference and gave me a lot of confidence during what can be quite a stressful process. I’m very grateful for their support and would happily recommend Eltons to anyone buying or selling a property.
