A special thank you to Michael, who was genuinely amazing throughout, always responsive, and clear, and made everything so easy from start to finish.
17th Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Unfortunately, they couldn't find a buyer for my stunning flat themselves and had to enlist an outside estate agent, and had me stump up extra money to help compensate them. So they got it done after the end of the contact term, but it cost me £thousands more. This was after they earlier had asked me to agree to halt showings as demanded by an earlier (lower) offer that I reluctantly accepted. That buyer ended up walking weeks later, wasting precious time that could have been spent finding a real buyer. Estate agents are not your friend. No matter how charming they appear before their engagement contract is signed, once you sign it, they revert to their true mercenary selves, pressuring you to accept offers well below the very valuation they provided, because their only loyalty is to earning their fee. Don't get fooled. Wish I never used this JDW office.

And from making an offer to completion they were great. They explained everything in easy to understand terms, kept us updated and couldn’t have been happier for us when it was all completed. If and when we come to sell our house in many, many years they will be our first call

7th Jan 2026 (18 days ago)I would highly recommend Batcheller Monkhouse based on our own experience. They are a friendly team of knowledgeable and experienced agents. There was always someone really helpful on the end of the phone, even when our lead agent was unavailable. Their communication and response to emails/phone enquiries was excellent - both with us, our buyers and the legal teams. Unfortunately we experienced a fairly difficult journey but I feel that the whole thing might have collapsed had we not had such experienced agents to guide us through it. They were reassuring, patient & tenacious at all times, despite the on-going obstacles our chain faced. Worth their weight in gold and we are extremely grateful for all their efforts.

Neil and Angus were incredibly professional, had great communication and I would definitely recommended and use them personally again in the future.

The whole team were professional, proactive and kept us fully informed throughout. James was incredible—his communication, patience and genuine care made the whole process so much easier. The entire team were supportive, honest and clearly had our best interests at heart. We’re so grateful for all their hard work. Highly recommended.

Communication was clear and prompt, and they were always professional and helpful. Any issues were dealt with quickly and efficiently, making the whole renting process stress-free. I would happily recommend them to anyone looking to rent.
9th Jan 2026 (16 days ago)We contacted Fowlers in Storrington to ask for their help after a challenging time trying to sell our house, due to the chains below our buyers falling down several times. Paul and Lisa acted with pace, and quickly found us a buyer who was well suited to our property and importantly , very motivated to buy. Lisa’s contact throughout was excellent and she was both professional but very personable throughout. She worked hard to ensure all parties were kept on-track and any questions were quickly answered. Consequently, our sale went through smoothly and we were delighted with the service we received. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fowlers Storrington.

They have a wealth of experience and local knowledge and work together to get the job done in an office culture that is approachable, responsive and respectful of all parties. I trust her judgement completely, and I always feel prioritised when I speak to her. She is surrounded by an excellent team at the Steyning branch, and it's an absolute pleasure working with her through the sale of my property. I highly recommend her services to anyone wishing to buy or sale in the area
5th Jan 2026 (20 days ago)I don't usually leave reviews, because it's rare that service is genuinely outstanding. Mishons were our 7th (yes, seventh!) estate agent that we'd used over various attempts to sell our house. If we'd only found them sooner, we could have saved a lot of heartache. Other agents got us loads of viewings, but ultimately no sale. The penultimate agent we used arranged 27 viewings, (that's one hell of a lot of cleaning for us...) but no sale. I was very clear with Harry @ Mishons that we only wanted a viewing if they were genuinely in a position to proceed. He understood the mission. After launch, no viewings for two weeks. Then one viewing, an offer, a sale. And throughout the whole process, it was genuinely a great experience interacting with Harry and Kiera (who is in the office and is the *Queen* of getting sh*t done!) We didn't have to chase, we never had that 'do you think they're being straight with us?' conversation because we trusted them from the word go. They were genuinely the only agent who didn't come round and lecture us on how good they were at selling - they just showed us. I can, hand on heart, say that we will miss the humour, the kindness and the human-ness in our WhatsApp group. Skilled, friendly, respectful and emotionally intelligent. But above all, they sold our house at a good price and always, always, did what they said they would do. If you're thinking of selling your home, speak to Harry @ Mishons, we're so glad we did.

16th Jan 2026 (9 days ago)Do not rent with them. We rented a flat small basement flat that had mold and damp the whole time, which was not at all addressed despite mulitple emails. And yet, they have taken nearly our whole deposit. During our veiwing the estate agent pointed out that the flat needed new floors, but when it came to us moving out, apparently we had been the ones to damage the floors such that the whole flat needed new floors... convenient. Shameful that landlords backed by estate agents like Foster & Co are still allowed to get away with ripping off tenants.

Nick and the team made the whole experience stress free, from the first viewing to collecting the key. The service was outstanding with effective communication, professionalism and were approachable and friendly.

They were professional, courteous and supportive during the stresses of moving. Making everything as seamless as possible, with great communications and keeping us positive in times of worry. Thank you all at Neville&Neville and we would highly recommend using them for a sale/purchase.
