From the get-go, fantastic communication. From confirmation emails and calls, to extremely helpful staff, they kept me posted every step of the way. Had a look at a lovely flat, and was shown the property by Sarah, who was both professional and also friendly, making a lot of other letting agents look like amateurs by comparison.
Kept the communication direct and simple in informing me what I needed to do next in the application, can't praise Marriotts enough!

I had the pleasure of being shown round a perfect property this morning by Purdey Laytham for Marriott's Mapperley. From the moment Purdey opened the door she was bright, friendly and utterly professional. Purdey was knowledgeable about both the property and the local area. She knew all the important details about the property for sale even as far as the direction the garden faced and where the sun would fall. I did make an offer before I even left the property. I loved the property but Purdey's customer service and attention to detail was a pleasure and, having been shown around a few properties over the past few weeks (of which a few reps have at best appeared indifferent), I feel that Marriott's are represented well be a consummate professional. If I am successful, I look forward to progressing and feel assured that Marriott's will be the best agent to deal with if Purdey is anything to go by. Thanks Purdey and Marriott's!

I cannot thank them enough for all their help during our move. Our solicitors weren’t the most helpful and without Marriotts we would have been homeless during lockdown with a baby!
All members of the team that we dealt with went above and beyond to make sure we got into the house, I honestly think I would have gone crazy without them. They replied to emails promptly, answered numerous calls from me when I couldn’t get the information I needed from my solicitors. I would have happily given them the money I had to hand over to the solicitors!

Marriotts Mapperley were fine overall. They were absolutely lovely at first, great responses to our initial calls and good consulting. We’d had a couple of deaths in the family which meant I needed a gentle touch and they provided that well. Unfortunately they didn’t sell the house, we had minimal views and a low offer before I took it off them at the end of 3 months and handed it to Holden Copley who sold it not long after for the asking price. They were ok but not the people to sell our house. I’d still say they are thoughtful, measured and capable.

We have move house a few times in the last several years and have dealt with numerous estate agents - Marriott's were by far the most accommodating and professional.
Nothing was too much trouble - they understood the important difference between handling this as both a physical transaction and a personal experience.
The fantastic service did not stop once we'd agreed the purchase - they remained extremely flexible and supportive throughout - including agreeing at short notice on several occasions (Early Saturday morning or late Friday night) to arrange additional viewings to measure up (This was a vacant new build purchase)

The absolute worst management I have ever experienced in my life. I have been renting a property from them for 3 months now and notified them of issues these are still ongoing 3 months on, slow responses, had to constantly chase and hire the worst kind of tradesmen. I would strongly advise against using Marriotts if you are renting. Regardless of how you leave your property they will find ways to charge you.
The only time they are quick to respond is when you leave your deposit and sign your initial contract, other than that they are slow to provide responses to repair requests, hire useless trades people and then charge you for all sorts of things when you leave.
If you do use them my advice would be to forget about your deposit when you sign your contract as you'll probably never see it again.
If I could give them 0 stars I would, it's easy to see why people don't like estate agents when you deal with useless fools like these.
