I had to move because my flat was put on sale. I definitely knew it was a mountain to climb to find another house that is close to where my kids school. Selling a house is a major thing in your lives especially if you have lived in your property for the best part of 38 years. Having decided to sell, we invited a number of estate agents out for the valuation process. Alice from the Mapperley branch came to see us. She made us feel at complete ease with the process and spent time explaining the process in full. She was knowledgeable and knew the market at the time. Although we didn’t actually decide to sell with them, Alice still kept in touch and suggested ideas when we weren’t initially getting people through the door. Even when we did eventually get a sale, she still kept in touch, congratulating us for the journey. We found Alice pleasant to deal with and had our circumstances been just a little different, we would definitely had been giving her a call to market our property. Currently in the process of renting my property out with the lettings team in Mapperley. Within hours of the property being advertised we received numerous notifications of viewings and secured a tenant really quickly. The quality of possible tenants was excellent and the communication from the offset has been commendable. They were nice when they were trying to make commission and getting us to sign the tenancy agreement but once they have you in the property there customer service is outrageous,
Unfortunately our circumstances changed we have been struggling to pay the rent and bills and they had no sympathy or empathy,
Abbeys attitude is terrible , speaks to us like something under her shoe, think the jobs gone to her head, Riley has the same attitude
Now I’m under the doctor with anxiety stress and depression, stuck in a house we can’t afford and hate

I am not one to leave bad reviews, but this has been the worst lettings experience ever.
To summarise, we trusted Frank Innes to get some nice tenants in my clients property (who lives in another country).
They told us it was a single lady living there, however 12 months later, after 2 months of not receiving rent and then the tenants staying in for an extra 3 months with no rent received. After they finally left, the tenants completely destroyed the property, rather than it being an apparent single lady living there, my builder has just found out there were over 5 tenants living in the property, some Nigerian men with children (we have a driving license of one of the men that was left in the property to prove).
They ended up completely trashing the whole property, seemingly intentionally, and my client has ended up having to spend an extra £3,500 renovating the property, after already initially renovating it before the tenants moved in.
So we are lied to about who the tenant was.
We were lied to about the inspection reports, they said everything looks good and was fine. Which it absolutely wasn't.
Then finally, 5 months later, after the tenants finally left they said it just needs a 'deep clean'.
Then when we wanted to claim the missing rent that wasn't paid along with the deposit. Frank Innes told us that we only need to claim £400 as that would be enough to renovate the property. Which again is another lie.
I never leave negative reviews as I don't like to bring other companies or people down, but this was a complete mess.
I think as a company they ought to be responsible and contribute to the costs that the owner has incurred.

Currently I’m in the process of purchasing a house through Frank Innes Mapperley. My experience so far has been head and shoulders above other estate agents.
Alex (the estate agent) greeted us at the property with a printed out brochure and a very warm and professional manner.
Alex was knowledgable and patient with all the questions I had for him. If he didn’t know the answer, he would be upfront and find out the answer for me. This meant a lot because, unlike so many other estate agents, it felt like I was talking to a real person, rather than someone just trying to get me to buy the property.
Alice at the office has been really helpful and friendly too, so it’s clear they have an excellent team at Frank Innes Mapperley.

We dealt with Elliott Maynard for the majority of the process who provided fast, polite, and informative replies via phone and email to keep us updated as time passed and as the vendor completed steps on their side.
The property we were looking to buy had some issues so we wanted to negotiate the price down accordingly, where Elliot was the middleman. We found him to be fair and reasonable during this, understanding that we were going to be paying out for substantial repairs immediately after purchase, but was also transparent about what he and the office believe the property could sell for. He was patient and gave us plenty of time to think and revisit the property before deciding.
Ultimately the sale did not go through, but we would be happy to deal with Elliot and Frank Innes Mapperley again when we find another property.

All good whilst you’re a tenant, but try to get your deposit back after end of tenancy and it’s a whole other story! Moved out over 2 months ago, took them 2 months just to get approval from the landlord to release the deposit, now all of a sudden a fee for a tenancy renewal (after they were made illegal? Okay?) appeared on my account and it’s taking even more to get my deposit released. REMOVE THIS FEE IMMEDIATELY AND GET MY DEPOSIT TRANSFERRED BACK AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, I AM SICK AND TIRED OF DEALING WITH YOU.

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Arranged to meet at the property to have valued for rental purposes. Lauren Lonsdale did not turn up despite waiting for her for 40 minutes and calling the office multiple times. Tried to rearrange but did not get back to me after chasing the same day and the day after. Avoided taking my calls by saying 'Lauren was on the other line'. I had my own professional photos taken for them and emailed but again Lauren did not come back to me. I then received a call from a completely different company to say Frank Innes are too busy and they are their sister company. Lauren did not have my authority to pass my details on to another company going against GDPR.

AVOID !! Negligent non professional office and employees !! My family members house was destroyed by the tenants who refused to leave and this company was incapable of resolving the issue and did not bother to check the property! My family member was told she could not receive any information about her own house after a relationship ended , despite her name being on the contract which Lauren at Frank Innes did not bother to look for until the last minute. Unable to get hold of them over the phone and avoided or made excuses to not discuss so we had to visit the office person to resolve. This resulted in her losing out in £2000 worth of damages to her home. House is now being sold with another estate agents as Frank Innes undervalued it by £50,000 !! AVOID !!

We found a property on right move at 9am and called the Mapperley office and spoke to Abby. By 3pm we had viewed the property and by 3:45 we had called the office back to submit an application, which was sent to the landlord the next day. Less than two weeks later we had the keys. Fab to have such a fast and stress free process. We have received professional and efficient service from Abby from the offset, and once notified of issues with the property, Abby has endeavoured to rectify them. Good social distancing and PPE measures in the office when collecting keys, and again Abby was efficient and informative during this process. We would definitely recommended Frank Innes over other estate agents in Nottingham.

Rented one of their properties for about 2 years and it was okay. I moved out in the end and ever since there’s been a lack of communication on their end when it comes to getting your deposit back which is ironic because these guys are quick to call you when you owe them money but when it’s other other way around, it’s hard to reach them. It’s been about a month and I still haven’t received my deposit although I’ve called many times and emailed and no one is replying to my emails or calling me to confirm. I’ve been told different information each time about receiving my deposit. It’s so unclear and a failure in professionalism. I shouldn’t have to keep asking for something that I know I should have received the moment I moved out.

One slight snag is now I am on their system in a week I have had 4 texts and 5 emails, all advertising new rental properties, with no way I have seen of unsubscribing. After depressing lack of interest from other letting agencies in the area (none of whom have bothered to contact us since), we were delighted to find Jessi Pabla who is friendly, enthusiastic and nothing seems to be too much trouble. She found us the perfect new home and turned a very stressful time into a happy one. I do hope Frank Innes realise how wonderful all the staff at the Mapperley office are and the happy atmosphere they create for their clients compared to the other, disinterested, estate agents in the area.

Jessi & Jessica in Mapperley branch have been very helpful in the process of letting our property again for us, there have been a few problems which needed to be sorted which was created from previous members in branch with letting to the previous tenants, but both of them have always made sure that these have been able to be sorted out - they are both very cheerful, polite and willing to go the extra mile to resolve any issues . & Gemma in Maintenance & Repair has also been very helpful in helping me resolve the issues left by the previous tenants - all in all The team work well, and look after our needs.

Extremely disappointed with the service by Lauren Lonsdale whom comes across very polite but clearly caught out lying. One occasion we viewed a property sent the application via email. Unfortunately waiting for her reply which didn't happen I called and she confirmed it's been taken.
Second occasion booked a property for viewing two day before viewing the property showed LET AGREED on the website. I spoke to Lauren day before the viewing to confirm and she clearly lied the property had just been agreed this morning when I seen the LET AGREED stated day before.
We travel from Sheffield and it would have been a total waste of journey to Nottingham.
Communication is very poor and Didn't offered to help look for another property.
Unprofessional infact lost out on long term tenants, will not recommend.
