Truly horrible experience with this estate agency and their landlord Yousuf Khan. Please, please don't use them or rent his Wood Green property. Multiple things went wrong with the property including gas leaks, roof leaks, old appliances breaking dangerously and terrible insulation. He was rude and deliberately slow to fix issues - often getting friends of friends to "patch" problems like putting plaster on a roof where there was structural issues and the water was pouring into rooms making them unliveable. At the end he then put up the rent by £200 per month. The Estate Agency were slow to step in and did not support us, regularly claiming they couldn't help/get hold of him. Multiple times we called two days in a row, speaking to the same staff member, who couldn't remember the issue we had raised the previous day. They even forgot which day we were contracted to move out and tried to push us to pay for another month's rent. Please don't use them or rent his property.... Read more

Ian at martin brookes was great. I recently purchased a 3 bedroom property in enfield via martin brookes, and he was on the ball 100% of the way. During the transaction the covid pandemic fell upon us but Ian made sure to keep in regular contact and push the sale through. If you are looking to buy any houses from martin brookes please ask for Ian Walters to ensure the process is quick and efficient. I am already pestering him to find another house for us to purchase. Update 2023 I like to thank Ian, Rachel and Sara at martin brookes. I recently enquired about a property for rent and they were swift with their referencing and service. Wow! Mr Ian from Martin Brookes Estate Agents….Made buying a house such a breeze! We was new to home buying, and have heard horror stories from friends and family about terrible agents.
