The advert generated lots of viewing and offers matched the asking price. My only complaint was having to chase updates when buyers were having difficulty raising the funds. Negotiation skills were good when buyers raised issues.

Could have been advised better when we found the perfect bungalow for my mother! With the confusion, unfortunately my mother lost out on the ideal bungalow which was very disappointing

The sale took a long time to go through. This was not the fault of Castles. The conveyancing and surveying process was very slow due to covid. Castles were just as frustrated as I was about this but there was nothing they could have done about this. It’s just the way things are during the beginning of this year

The company (Castle Agent) representative - Mr Oliver Webster was very supportive and professional. He demonstrated a good professional behavior during the process of renting the flat. He was respectful, tolerant and provided appropriate feedback.

Castles worked very hard to ensure we had plenty of viewings and got the price we were looking for. When first buyer dropped out Castles went in to action again and quickly came up with another buyer.

Castles withheld information about some potential buyers from us and vouched for others who subsequently reneged on their initial offers for no apparent reason.
Vendors should bear in mind that estate agents like this are also agents for many buy to let landlords and may have a greater interest in keeping them happy than in selling your property at the price you were expecting.

I would not recommend these agents.
I didn’t feel they acted proactively and I felt they didn’t communicate well. Only when I dealt with the manager did I get an acceptable service.
However they did get a buyer for my property at the asking price but I’m sure other agents may have been able to do the same.
