Would not recommend - I called as a new customer to enquire about organising a valuation of my property and the girl on the phone insisted she needed to take two phone numbers from me to move my enquiry forward. I only have the one phone number, live alone, and don't have another number to give - quite a ridiculous insistence really, and she was not listening. If it's really "required" by the system then just put 123, or repeat the first number? Never had this trouble with other estate agents.

Starting with Martin who came to value our house he is very down to earth and very knowledgeable in this field. Bailie Horseley was our main point of contact who looked after us from start to finish I believe he went above and beyond for us at times. He kept us up to date with how things were developing. I'd never sold a house before and it was quite hard to decide which agency to use. Stephen was the only agent who actively addressed negative as well as positive questions at the valuation, which impressed us. Bailie has been communicative and helpful throughout, both on the phone and by email, and Ava and other colleagues have always been friendly and helpful when he wasn't available. They were also very patient dealing with all my questions. Their systems seem set up well to deliver a great service and they've been a pleasure to deal with. I hope the buyers they found us will be very happy in their new home!

Recently bought an apartment through Martin Thornton and Ava was an absolute pleasure throughout and an unbelievable help.
I stupidly picked a terrible solicitor who made life very difficult and dragged it out a long way. If it wasn’t for Ava and her constant work on everything I’d probably still not be in!
