Just finalising a sale through Simon Blyth (Lindley Office - main POC being Heidi).
Heidi especially has been excellent; professional, attentive and diligent, she has routinely gone above and beyond in making the sale happen. Superb at communicating in a timely and effective manner and remained diplomatic throughout a lot of pressure being applied to her from both sides.

I can honestly say that they are by far the best estate agents I have ever known. When Peter came out to value the property his honestly, advice and professionalism were highly respected. Everything he said was realistic and worked. The fee was good and included everything. We had 6 estate agents round and felt they were the best and how right were we.
The sale and purchase wasn't easy but Heidi has been my rock throughout going way over and beyond to get the sale through and on the day I really needed it to be. Both Heidi and Sharon were so easy to approach for advice and help with any issue never making feel like I was a pain in the bum. They spoke with solicitors, my buyer and pushed my seller even printing documents to speed things up, all things that weren't expected or even in their duty to do but my goodness were they needed. I am confident that without their help the chain would have collapsed. All other estate agents involved did nothing to help, whereas Heidi became the glue that held everything together.
I would highly recommend Simon Blyth, in particular Heidi at their Lindley office. I am also more than happy for anyone to contact me to prove that my review is real. I am one VERY happy customer.

The most amazing service offered from start to finish. From Peter initially visiting to confirm valuation and organise instruction, to the superstar of the show; Heidi. Heidi is the most professional agent I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with, and I’ve dealt with many. The house was marketed, sold, exchanged and completed all within a 6week period and that was also inclusive of dealing with a valuation discrepancy. Heidi is a master of her craft and I cannot recommend Heidi and the Lindley branch of Simon Blythe enough. Truly amazing service and I wouldn’t consider going elsewhere. I’ve just read through most of the Google reviews on here, which seem predominantly 5 stars with an occasional 1 star, and little else in between. Of the few 1 stars, most reflect the reviewer’s unhappiness that events did not turn out in their favour, rather than providing feedback for the agent’s actual performance.
So from our own experience: Today we completed purchase of a property in Huddersfield area through Simon Blyth’s Lindley office. In the truly challenging backdrop of Covid restrictions, record enquiry and completion rates, compressed timescales from Govt stamp duty relief, throughout the process we found their staff to be efficient, polite and timely. They offered great all round service, good advice, and were happy to dig deeper for extra info or background whenever requested. We were never rushed or pressured, and genuinely appreciated that this office’s staff acted as a useful intermediary adding value to the process of buying a property. There aren’t many Agents around who can achieve this standard nowadays, which deserves credit, whatever the outcome between Vendor and Buyer. Our particular gratitude to Sharon Day for all her efforts leading the purchase negotiations.

I have to TOTALLY disagree with the previous reviewer, Shazia. We have found the whole team at Simon Blyth, Lindley to be caring, supportive and professional throughout the entire process of marketing and selling our property. They managed to secure 4 asking price offers for us within 10 days of being on the market and then Heidi and her team helped and guided us through the rest of the process with regular updates and clear communication at every juncture. Estate agents often bear the brunt of a lot of criticism and people think they only really care about getting their commission at the end of a sale but this is absolutely not true at Simon Blyth Lindley. They really care about their clients and we honestly can't recommend them highly enough. Thanks so much Heidi and colleagues for looking after us so well and securing the sale of our property. Right from the start when Peter came to value the house I was impressed with the homework he had done prior , he was aware of the house prices in the area and what was currently for sale , then the photographer who came guided me on what angles looked best and what personal belongings needed taking out .
Then I was introduced to Heidi who I have an abundance of praise for , she recommended my solicitor who was Diana Walker at Ramsdens who again I was very impressed with . I sold my house in 2020 in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic so this added to the natural stress of buying and selling my home , delays were out of anyone’s control as searches and surveys Took longer , however Heidi was in constant contact advising and chasing throughout . Heidi always replied to my messages and sometimes that was in the evening in her own time .
As the process reached the time to exchange contracts there was hiccups at the beginning of the chain , As Heidi has years of experience in being an estate agent this was a great asset she knew other solicitors in the chain and had close contacts with the other estate agents , Heidi constantly was chasing for information to see what the hold up was so she could keep me informed , then hiccups happened at the end of the chain and again Heidi was using her contacts and experience to push when needed and to keep me in the loop as to what was going on . It was a very stressful time but throughout the whole process my part and Simon Blyths part there was none , everything regarding me went smoothly , I was in the middle of the chain and Heidi was my prop she guided, advised, supported and held my hand throughout , she was very professional , very knowledgable and very friendly , this was a key point for me , I could talk to her and she was very down to earth . I will and have recommend Heidi at Simon Blyth’s to anyone who is thinking of selling their home . I could not of imagined what it would of been like with another estate agent , Heidi was the only one who was actively involved even though the problems I had where not with me , even my buyer ended up talking and taking advice from Heidi as opposed to her own agent .

Due to bereavement it was necessary for our family to sell a property during the period of COVID lockdown. Having made contact with Heidi at Simon Blyth’s via telephone I new immediately the service offered complete support of the client in every way possible.
Importantly from the very start we new how much the fees would be. We new what to expect and when.
At all stages of the process Heidi was efficient, responsive , competent and very personable in her dealings with the sale.
We were kept fully informed , Heidi often going above and beyond in communicating updates in a very friendly ,effective but highly professional manner. Nothing was too much trouble. Peter was very honest in his initial valuations and advice offered. The brochure including photographs and house details were impressive. Peter arranged the viewings efficiently, fitting in with our time schedule as much as his own. The rest of the team dealt swiftly with any issues which arose.The whole process has not been without set backs, however these have been dealt with sensitively and responsibly, very well indeed.

Everything was explained in detail and nothing was too much trouble. Every call and email was answered straight away, even after office hours. This is the third time I have sold a property in Huddersfield but it is the second time I have sold a property through Simon Blyth. In contrast to other Agents I have used in the past, I have found Simon Blyth to be professional, helpful and friendly. No query is too much for them, they offer much needed help and advice and I am particularly impressed by their response times. Heidi in particular is very professional and she responded to emails in the evenings and weekends. Thanks to Heidi, Peter and the rest of the Team, I will use Simon Blyth again in future.

Great service from the Lindley branch. Initially dealt with Sharon, then Heidi after lockdown started! Arranged a viewing of a property on a Sunday for us and were straightforward and open throughout the whole process. Having had our offer accepted, in no small part thanks to Sharon, before Covid changed the world we finally managed to exchange and complete in the midst of lockdown (empty property which requires work before we move in so no breach of social distancing). Especially under the current constraints I was really impressed by the service and prompt response to any queries. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and look forward to seeing you guys around the village once we move in!

I chose Simon Blyth for their knowledge and professionalism. I started viewings some time before I put my own house on the market and quickly got a feel for how good the customer service was compared to some of the other estate agents. They were always prompt and professional and were an obvious choice when I decided I was finally going to put mine on the market.
I also chose the Lindley branch as it is such a busy little place with lots of people passing the shop front.
My homework paid off and I sold my house within two weeks. Peter even gave me advice on a renovation property that I was thinking about buying through another agent, and since moving, two of my friends have put their houses on the market with this branch on my recommendation.

I recently instructed Heidi at Simon Blyth to sell a property. She managed to negotiate the full asking price within a week of the property going on the market and there was lots of interest.
If you want to get the best possible price for your property, my advice would be to instruct the Huddersfield office of Simon Blyth- they are all a pleasure to deal with and very professional.

We were recommended to use Simon Blyth by a friend, and have not been disappointed. We rented a house through them having relocated from some distance away, and all the team were extremely helpful and efficient, and we managed to arrange the tenancy very quickly - and in fact they worked hard to keep the landlord flexible until our sale completed. We did find the company they use to check credit ratings a bit stressful to deal with, but no Simon Blyth's fault. All went well with the 6 month rental, and they dealt with a couple of important repairs quite quickly, although a few minor ones were still outstanding. So generally very happy, and thanks to all the letting team - particularly to Georgina in Holmfirth who was our main contact.

I sold my flat in the Equilibrium building in Lindley with Simon Blyths. The sales market for apartments in Huddersfield is not very strong but Simon Blyths managed to get lots
of viewings and in the end they achieved a good sales price. Heidi was managing the whole process and she was very helpful. I will be selling my next property with them and I would recommend anyone that’s selling a property to use Simon Blyths.

Used Simon Blyth through 2018 to sell two homes (mine and my partners).
They were great, all the staff were really helpful and professional. Compared with other estate agents we had round they gave a really realistic valuation, and the photos of the property were far better than loads we've seen on Rightmove.
Price was very competitive. Really felt like a personal service from a local business who have a lot of experience in the area.
As a buyer, we phoned loads of estate agents to arrange viewings etc and found Simon Blyth were always most helpful and easiest to get through to.
Overall very happy with the service and felt the team did a great job and really earned the price. (I'm sure most people couldn't always say the same thing)

Well.... If you need nails and 40 cans of Harp lager this is the place.. Seriously!! I popped in to buy some house, and left with a 1997 copy of razzle and 3 broken bird feeders.
I really don't know how they do it, but it's the place I like to spend most of my days. That and the esso station at Bay Horse roundabout.

This estate agent is over pricing at the moment on the bigger properties. The properties are sat on the market for a long time and do not sell until the vendor either goes with another agent or takes it off the market completely. Just wasting everyone's time really.
