Very pleasant and helpful throughout my time as a tenant - they arranged for things to be fixed in a professional and timely manner. Sadly, they fell down at the end of the tenancy: the inspection was handled badly and communication about the end of my tenancy wasn't great. The way they handled the end of my tenancy incurred extra costs for me. Overall, the experience was acceptable but nothing special.

An amazing team! Our process started with Keith who fought hard to get us new buyers when the chain fell through. Within 5 days we had a new offer and when that one broke he found us new buyers in 3 days! Charlotte took over and worked so hard to get the process over the line despite huge problems along the chain. Can't thank them enough for their persistence and professionalism.

I dealt with Michael, Keith and Charlotte when I sold my parent’s house. Being a family business who live locally they have an excellent understanding of Crowborough and the surrounding area. We had a particularly difficult sale as the first sale broke down due to a problem further up the chain. They found a new buyer very quickly and that eventually went through in spite of the hoops you now have to jump through and useless solicitors further up the chain. Through out this they kept me informed. I am not the most patient of people and they handled me in an exemplary fashion.

Do NOT use these Estate Agents for Letting. So unprofessional, badly managed, calls not answered and evasive. Letting not as described …. Mouldy fridge, dirty throughout; numerous ‘ workman’ have property keys, filthy , mould , electric shock on a point and a landlord that wasn’t vetted enough and or advised on the condition this let should have been left prior to letting. Not suitable to move in to but the landlord /agents are unwilling to rectify all the issues to a suitable standard and are refusing to refund the very hefty 6 months down payment. SHAMEFUL.

Honestly, do not waste your time with viewing properties with this company, I took time out of my day to view a basic flat for us to rent whilst we looked for another property to buy, having just sold our house. We were not once advised about the ‘strict referencing process’ they had from the landlord. Once we decided to move forward we were asked to provide affordability, which I did showing our incomes more than covers the rent without issues. After providing personal information and chasing, I got a one line response from the letting agent, saying the landlord rejected our application because we plan to go on holiday over Xmas. Such a waste of time and the flat remains on the market (since April).

From the moment I called Keith he was friendly, helpful and explained everything. Within a couple days he was round to do a valuation. Week later pictures. Shortly after it went live. Within 24 hours I got a call to arrange first two viewings. And it sold on the 2nd viewing.

The worst experience ever. Simple house sale ended up a nightmare sale thank to them. I have been threaten by them to sign the paperwork. All the information they had about myself and my property and my future plans have been passed on to others, as I had people asking me things and the only way they could know is from Michael Brooker agency. Stay away from them unless you ready for disappointment.

Have had a very positive experience selling a house with Michael Brooker Estate Agent. All the staff I have dealt with in sales, have all been lovely and polite, professional and responsive. Getting the house on the market quickly and having floor plans and photography done at speed. Michael and Keith are both great and the ladies in the office are all lovely. Communication has been great and with regular updates. Overall, a very positive experience and would highly recommend.

These are the biggest crooks in Sussex. Diabetes and sweeties is all they love. No care for their role in managing properties, tenants or upkeep. Try too steal, DPS protects you, never pay last month or they will have you. Ginny, Paul and Michael are unprofessional, ignore emails, no response foraintenance issues or damaged property. Worst letting agent I have come across, and that is saying a lot, considering legislation that has had too be put in place to protect tenants.

Worst letting agents I've ever dealt with. Letting agent Ginny is not only unpleasant to tenants, but actually downright rude and offensive. From not dealing with issues raised in a timely manner, right through to letting themselves in to show future tenants around and leaving muddy footprints on carpets right through the house we we still living in. I could go on and on, but one word is enough... AVOID!!

It's small and local which in my opinion makes it more reliable and professional, they definitely stand out against big chains.

I recently viewed a property with this agent and was thoroughly impressed with their professional service. Office staff were brilliant and returned calls exactly when they said and I found Keith to be a pleasure to deal with and highly professional.
I would strongly advise using this agent as you receive service head and shoulders above what is being offered by the larger franchised agents in this area.

Awful company... Never return calls... 4 at the last count!!!.. All I wanted was a simple land valuation ... All promised deadlines have come and gone and still nothing!!.. Anyone looking to sell or buy would be well advised to avoid them.

Trying to buy a property with this Estate Agency who are a local firm to Crowborough, I'm afraid to say that calls are not returned, when visiting for a second viewing the agent didn't know it was a second viewing and overall they are just very poor at communicating. (Worst culprit for failed return calls is Keith who we think is the boss!)
We've subsequently put an offer in for another property on the market with Cubitt and West who have been superb, really engaged us in the process and call regularly to keep us updated.
Until Michael Brooker up their game we could not recommend them at all.
