My personal experience with agents from Redwood Estates.
Organizational betrayal, powers control and gaslights:
The letting agent failed to protect my tenancy deposit from 2010-2015 & 2017- 2023. Catherine, Debbie and Lynn used tenancy agreements to wage war against me for wanting to protect my tenancy rights as a private tenant.
Poor management
The tenancy deposit certificate ID was received in a repossession claim from the BCFC in September 2023. False information was issued on the certificate.
Health and Safety breaches under Human Rights act
Trespass to goods- the unauthorised posting of my personal items online during the commercial sale of "the property in 2020 and 2022-2023.
The LL and letting agents "ganged up" against via using coercive control, harassment and peer pressure discriminative conduct from May 2022 until November 2023.
My tenancy rights to live in comfort at my home without unnecessary interruptions were greatly challenged.
Indoor cameras were used to protect and safeguard me from further harm during contact with these individuals.
The named letting agents demanded to enter the property during my absence under the disguise of "prospective viewers" from January 2023 to November 2023 . I was gas-lighted in reports regarding "their management" of the property.
Retaliatory Eviction & collusion of wrong doing:
I stood my ground and was issued illegal eviction notices s.21 (forms 8 and 6a) by LL on 12 May 2023 and 27 June 2023 for challenging the £450.00 rent increase proposal on 9 May 2023.
The first eviction s.21 notice form 8 was declared invalid by Housing Inclusion Services on 27 June 2023.
The LL issued the second s.21 eviction form 6a. It was illegal and retaliatory. The LL failed to follow the legally prescribed guidelines before issuing a s21 notice (my tenancy deposit was not protected during years as LL (2017-2023)), how to rent booklet May 2023 was not received, inaccurate dates recorded on EPC, faulty repair complaints from 2017-2023 treated dismissively in reports (poor management of property).
Fraudulent conducts
Catherine P was informed of the LL's decision to issue s.21 notice in May 2022 ( premediated act) as revealed in the SAR disclosure of 10 January 2024 (eighteen months later).
Financial abuse & coercive control
Monthly rental payments were increased twice by LL and terms of tenancy changed with Redwood Estate's involvement from May 2022 to July 2022.
These incidents occurred during vulnerable periods in life ( the unfair automatic dismissal) after 22 years of continuous employment for making protected acts and qualifying disclosures against a former employer.
The abuse from the letting agents and LL also paralleled with periods of vicious abuse from agents of the former employer.
Debbie T would treat SAR information regarding unlawful interference in my personal life unprofessionally during enquiries raised in January 2024.
She reacted by using red and yellow inked letters in email correspondences).
Letting agents of Redwood Estates (UK) Ltd fraudulently sign ( electronically) using my details for tenancy agreements in 2016,2017-2019.
Subject access requests of 6 December 2023 to Redwood Estates were received on 10 January 2024 (delayed).
I was taken advantage of by agents from Redwood Estates whose intent was to subject my life to the reign of terror during my final year of tenancy.
I was the private tenant at the property from 29 January 2010 to 27 February 2024.
