This was my first time using an agent to find a new tenant.
I canvassed the majority of agents in the local prior to using James Schofield at Michael Tucks estate agents.
I chose to use James at Michael Tucks based upon his comprehensive knowledge of the letting market, his attention to detail and his positive manner.
In addition to James it would be remiss of me not to equally feedback on the excellent service, advice, and professionalism of Kurt, Heather and the letting team.
Throughout the entire process the communication has been excellent. The service provided by the team was excellent irrespective of weekends or week days.
We felt completely supported throughout the process even though I have been a residential landlord for in excess of ten years.
The fees charged were very good offering better value than the excessive fees other agents wanted to charge. Plus a number of the other agents did not demonstrate the level of knowledge, understanding and service which James and Kurt provided.
A very big thank you to all the letting team at Michael Tucks Abbeymead office.
We will definitely use you again in the future for other lettings.

They had an apartment just up for rent, they took us to see it straight away, we thought it would suit us fine so we went ahead with the contract. What a lovely team they are. They have been so sympathetic & helpful to us from the start. We are 81 & 88 years old & not very good on the computer. They were always friendly and approachable, willing to help anytime.
As expected, some of the solicitors in the chain were tricky to get a hold of; the team at Michael Tuck were constantly on their case, chasing for updates. We started out with the Quedgeley branch due to a local buyer and then moved to his branch as this was how our new buyer came to us. The guys in Abbeymead were great. From the off Giles had everything handled and helped us keep things moving with our new buyer.

I left both an email (as soon as a property was listed in the evening as I knew they'd be closed) as well as rang multiple times the next day and left a voice message enquiring about the property. My friend also rang separately, who is property searching with myself (also left messages) when she finally got through to someone another day later (who needs to improve their telephone manner) they said the property was fully booked for viewings. And yet they haven't even bothered to return a call or email to me to let me know myself know. Matt was an absolute pleasure to deal with throughout the whole process of the sale, from our initial meeting he was always professional, efficient, helpful and friendly. Terrible communicating, no feedback, no answer to voicemails. Not adhering to agreed plan. House didn't even show up on search, which may explain one viewing in two months. Arranging non qualifying viewer. Fees 25% more than other estate agents. Complete waste of two months. Came back with,, it's too expensive, well it was their valuation.

What e delight these estate agents are! I know estate agents have a bad name but these guys have really gone above and beyond for me time and time again. I'm probably one of the fussiest clients they have ever met and yet they have patience and understanding when dealing with me, they never try to ramp up the pressure like some others, they just give me honest answers and advice whenever I need it.
I've spent months looking for my perfect home and I though I might get left out in the cold after a few weeks of not finding anything, but these guys have kept up their fantastic service even when I'm being unreasonable with my demands.

They are an excellent company, who look after us very well indeed, as well as taking a fair and responsible approach to our valuable tenants. Special regard must go to Kurt Swanborough, the lettings manager and his team.
