Sold my first house with Mike and the team but the second time I chose another agent (chasing £££) and started to regret it quickly. After 16 weeks I switched to Mike and he had viewings lined up straight away and we were soon sold.
After that the girls were excellent keeping me updated and making sure the solicitors pulled their fingers out.
Don’t be fooled by over valued properties, go with Mike, he gets the price spot on and the girls do their magic.

To be greeted by a women who sounded far to uninterested in and busy to waste their time accommodating me and my questions. Apparently they were approaching last day of viewings and instead of saying if someone cancels ill see if I can fit you in. or taking my details for such eventuality or even let me see if I can squeeze you in. It was just sorry no more viewings bye!!
I used to wonder who had time to write reviews. and this is my first time feeling the need to want to write something, I don't wish to slander anyone. Nor do I want to say they are bad at their job or anything of the kind. I just wanted to express that sometimes the little fish in a big pond could use a little leg up and help. Instead of being made to feel like you reached your quoter and filled your schedule so that's it your jobs done for the day. And I'm not saying this is your company policy or reflects all that work there just talking about my short and very brief conversation I had on the phone. hopefully its just a busy stressful day and my nest experience will be different

Approachable and knowledgeable in the early stages when putting the property on the market, then brilliant communication in booking viewing appointments (to suit us) and always having the relevant information about the potential buyer's position.

He knows the Melton market inside out and gives sound advice you can have faith in. The sales progression team is also incredibly helpful and efficient. The Mike Ford team are one of a kind. As first time buyers we were clueless. From viewings to completion, the team were by our side helping us through the process of purchasing our first home. They certainly go above and beyond what an estate agent should really do and without any questions but I am so grateful they do!
After a very bad experience with our solicitors, the Mike Ford team very quickly became the only people I could rely on to get the details we needed and a timely transaction. Every step they updated me and often with information by solicitor didn’t even pass onto me.
Anxious with the process for the first time, I spoke to all the ladies in the team often, and each and every time they were polite, offering me advice, letting me know what was next and I very much felt they had all the time in the world for us.

Myself and my partner purchased a property through Mike Ford estate agents. I can honestly say that they have made the whole process so easy and stress free. I have dealt with estate agents in the past, who really do not provide the level of service we have received. We have been dealing with Lisa, she constantly kept in touch with us on a regular basis, communicated with the whole of the chain for us, and all solicitors involved. You usually find yourself having to chase the solicitors, but Lisa did all of that for us, and made the process of buying a house so much easier and less stressful. With moving house being quite a stressful time Mike and his team made it a lot easier with there professional but personal service , nothing was too much trouble for all the questions we were asking .
A great help for the property we were buying and plenty of viewings for the property we sold in just over two weeks .

We bought our first house through Mike Ford, and they've been wonderful from enquiring about our house all the way through to the end.
To start when we wanted to arrange a viewing of our house we couldn't make the dates that they provided that were available so they kindly spoke to the vendor on our behalf and they arranged that we could go and see the house when it suited us.
Since our offer was accepted they have been regular on checking in on the progress of the house and chasing updates and always informing us with any further updates.
The ladies at Mike Ford are absolutely brilliant who we have dealt with through our process and they have made things as easy and painless as possible for us as first time buyers. Always happy to answer any further questions we may have had. And any emails were always responded to promptly which is lovely so your not sat around waiting for an answer.

This morning my partner Ali and I were shown around a wonderful property by Sarah. Quite honestly, it was a great mornings experience! It was immediately apparent that Sarah had done her homework and she knew so much about the property and the surrounding area and yet, she was open and honest enough to say that she was unclear about certain facts and would get back to us promptly. It's easy to see why Mike Ford sells a lot of houses. My husband and I began our search for our new home in Melton Mowbray, we contacted a lot of agents in the area to register our interest and what sort of thing we were looking for. Mike Ford were on top of their game, contacting us when suitable things were due to be listed, so we were able to get in for viewings quickly. We never had an issues contacting them, or receiving call backs when we requested them. The whole team were helpful and made you feel like you were important to them. We ended up offering and buying a house that was listed with Mike Ford and they couldn't have made the process easier on us. They kept us informed and up to date with progress right down to the day of the move calling us to let us know the progress of the previous owners moving out and when they were due to drop the keys off and when they had. They'd even gone to the trouble of sending us a lovely card, welcoming us to our new home. I would highly recommend them to anyone and if I was planning on selling a property they'd be the first people I'd contact. Highly recommend Mike Ford and his team. From the first day I met Mike I was impressed by his professionalism and advice. The sales information for my house was well presented with excellent photos. After each viewing I was given feedback and was updated throughout the whole process by the staff.
Once my house was sold they kept me updated with any new properties on the market and knew exactly which area I preferred, I purchased a property being sold by them.

I was so impressed at how quickly they answered emails and queries and once a buyer was found how they progressed the sale through right to the end. I can not recommend them highly enough. Office hours appear to be much longer than your average agent too, convenient for both you and your potential purchaser. Please also note that the team answer the telephone to all clients and buyers, not a call centre.
