I don't often do reviews, unless they are genuinely worthy, but Lesley, Sam and the MillersonsTeam really do deserve praise. Buying a house is daunting, especially when it's 200 miles away, but thanks to Lesley it was definitely made easier. Nothing was too much trouble (well that's what she said but I'm sure it wasn't straightforward!), Lesley's efforts, supported by Sam, addressing a few issues kept everyone happy and the purchase on track. Fantastic service, professional and lovely people. I would definitely recommend and would use again (but don't plan on moving for quite a while...!).

Lesley, Val and Nic were simply marvellous.
We had a bad experience with an ‘online’ agency, who were simply rubbish, before switching to a good old fashioned local, family run agency.
From the word go, they completely understood our requirements, and fully appreciated the unique property we had to sell.
They produced an amazing brochure, and we are due to complete in 3 days, having exchanged last week.
The first viewing resulted in the firm offer and the expected sale.
There were some sticky moments along the way with various legal matters, but they reassured us and remained positive throughout.
Five stars , and would not hesitate to wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a wholly professional company and staff to help sell their home…….

We were lucky enough to have a viewing with Sam on a cold wet day in March, he'd advised us another apartment in the same block had become re available so we could see both. Every question we asked was responded to or the information gathered and passed back via the phone. Both properties were not what we really wanted but I'm sure Millersons will contact us when anything suitable comes to the market.

Samuel Watson showed me around 4 Holman's Meadow last week. Although the property was not for me I found him v helpful, giving me time & space to process my thinking. He was able to provide an insight to the area & his observations of the neighbours chatting I also found helpful. He also contacted the vendors as I said I thought I might return & offered this to me without I felt any pressure. Meanwhile however I found a property I am proceeding with. Should I be in a position again needing to view properties, then I would look to Millerson's & Samuel for more viewings.

This is the second time we have used Millerson, Launceston. The first time we sold a 3-bedroom bungalow in Launceston through them, and the second time we have sold some building plots. Both times their professional approach and friendly advice and guidance has been outstanding.
They have guided us throughout the process, and with the building plots, they gave advice on finding an architect to gain planning permission for the field, and advised us on a suitable solicitor. Both architect and solicitor recommended were highly professional and outstanding.
Then, talk about going the extra mile, they found buyers for the plots who lived in Australia!
We have no reservations in recommending Millerson, Launceston one hundred percent, and from our experience, we would rate them as one of the best Estate Agents in the South West, if not the best.

This is the first negative review that I have ever been compelled to write but I feel so strongly by the way I have been treated by Millerson Launceston regarding the attempted purchase of a new build on the Crossroads Development at Lewdown being developed by a "local" company Viburnum SW Ltd. who turn out to be from the other end of the country!
The whole sorry process has been going on since March 2021 when I viewed a property and was told it would be finished by the end of May 2021 and this date was also advertised in the promotional literature and on the Rightmove listing.
This property over a year later is still not ready for completion although it has been finished and ready for occupation for 6 months, and I believe that I have been completely mislead regarding this property and its availability.
I have been in contact with Millerson Launceston on counteless occasions and they have been extremely unhelpful claiming to only have been the referral agent and have taken no responsibility regarding the false information they provide me with. Basically they have washed their hands of it.
The developer is another kettle of fish entirely and not surprisingly have no internet presence so cannot be left any feedback. I wonder why that is?
There is no blame to be laid on Covid for the delays here, the developer basically has not done what they should have done regarding the correct processes of house building, planning, communications, procedures etc and it is my honest and personal opinion that Millersons Launceston should have done a better job on their due diligence before referring buyers to these properties and giving unachievable expectations regarding availability.
I am now thousands of pounds out of pocket due to unnecessary legal fees etc and have also have missed out on 2 stamp duty holiday deadlines and have also of course missed out on the opportunity to buy other properties which I would have done had I have been given accurate information in the first place.
The emotional stress and wasted time, energy and effort that this has caused not only myself but also that of those in the chain below me has also been a huge issue but again Millerson have washed their hands of us.
Despite being kept up to date on this development by information I have gained myself (basically doing their job for them) they have continued to represent Viburnum SW Ltd and market the other properties on this development and again with unachievable deadlines.
I can only assume that their ethics are not aligned with my own and that of the many other excellent estate agents in the area and the county.
They may only be the referral agent but they still have a duty of care to those people and families that they are selling dreams to.
I am now seeking advice as to how their regulatory bodies can help me to ensure that they are held to account for their part in this saga and to ensure that practices are changed so that others do not have to suffer in the way that I and others have regarding this development. I know that I am not alone in my experience.
I think that you can always get a good judgement of a company on how well they attempt to solve a problem and on this occasion Millerson Launceston have failed miserably and will be held to account for their part in it.

I should like to take the opportunity to thank Millerson for the service they offered in selling my property. And in particular I should like to thank Lesley Lamley. From her first visit she was very professional but very human, with an easy-going but reassuring personality. Despite being our second choice of agent, and therefor in competition with another local one, she threw herself with great energy into taken on the job of finding us a buyer before the competition did. And she succeeded, coming an easy winner of the race. She took pictures of the property on her first visit and it was evident she was very keen to get the property on the market in anticipation of a quick sale. She quickly acquainted herself with details of the property to prepare herself to conduct meaningful viewings. She quickly produced a specification, for perspective buyers to read, and this was of a high quality. Within days Millerson arranged several visits and Lesley professionally handled viewings with minimum impact on we sellers. Buyers were found within days and Lesley then spent a great deal of time dealing with them, and the other parties involved in buying and selling, like solicitors etcetera. She has a natural ability to liaise between parties and is quick to act. To put it colloquially she “doesn’t hang around”. As I write the removal men are packing our furniture into the van. Much of the success of this move is down to Millerson and, especially, Lesley. Thanks to all concerned.

I have just completed on a purchase of a property in Launceston that was presented by Millerson.
I genuinely wish that Lesley and Millerson were the estate agent representing me for the sale of my previous property. I know for certain that I'd have received a far better service from Millerson. Lesley, for me, has saved the day for estate agents. I really hope the sellers (selling the property I've just bought through Millerson) appreciate how great she's been.
Lesley's been amazing. Communicative with me as the buyer (not even her client technically), honest, approachable, supportive, above and beyond helpful, and incredibly professional.
I put an offer in on this property seven weeks after I accepted the offer on the property I was selling. I honestly believe that due to the communication, management of the sale, and Lesley's diligence, there's a direct link to those seven weeks disappearing and it overtaking the painfully slow sale of my own property elsewhere. Other estate agents can learn a lot from Lesley. Estate agents are definitely not all the same.
I cannot thank Lesley and Millerson enough for the amazing work and customer service I received from them.
I cannot wait to pick up the keys later today and finally enjoy my new house in Launceston.

I contacted Millerson looking for a detached 3 bedroom property with a garage, I had a good chat on the phone with them and was advised that a 3 bedroom property was immediately available in the Cross Roads development at Lewdown. I was sent over the details and asked if I wished to arrange a viewing.
As I was travelling several hundred miles I did some research online to make sure all was good as I did not want a wasted journey and to my horror it turns out at the developer of these properties (Viburnum SW Ltd ) have not yet officially had all of the necessary planning approved by West Devon Council and to make things even worse they have just had one of the relevant applications refused. It is my understanding that this outstanding issue if appealed could take a further 3 to 6 months to remedy.
Personally I find it dreadful that an estate agent is marketing properties ready for occupation with such serious outstanding planning issues.

Awful experience from the lettings side of Millersons of Launceston. It was DG who managed our cottage. March 2020we told her about the chimney leaking, every 3months on her visit we would keep asking about it. Once she replied, 'well, it's cottage life!' In Oct 2021 we felt we were forced to finally move out by the scale of the disrepair. Wet bedroom wall, wet living room wall where it needed repointing, damp and mold everywhere. Damp mites in the wall and slugs coming in through our damp kitchen cupboards. All our new pots of paint went thin and mouldy! TDG came to visit every 3monthsbut nothing was ever done. We suffered headaches and sinus problems and stress. Awful experience we are still recovering from...

I experienced terrible service when I was with this letting agency. 2 and a half years later and I am still trying to clean up their mess. Try to avoid someone with the initials D.G. That agent is the worst agent I have ever experienced, and I've lived in several places so I know what I'm talking about. Oh and to all the customers out there, the company has said to other customers complaining that they have no record of them and think they have put the complaint on the wrong site. If they say that to my comment then don't believe them.

We sold a property during the recent Covid pandemic, and if that wasn't difficult enough we also had a tenant in situ when the process started. Millerson fielded three people during the sale, each providing a service which in our opinion was well over and beyond anything that we could have reasonably expected. Really poor communication. was told to hold off on offer until all viewings completed. Promised faithfully that they would be in touch if an offer is submitted in the mean time. Only to then not contacted and find out through rightmove the property has sold!
Hate to think if they were selling my property that they weren't submitting all offers put forward.
Also asked me to submit an offer after the vendor had just accepted and agreed with someone else!!
feedback was that they had it noted we werent in a position to purchase which was not what we had advised and was absolutely not the case!!
