Buying a new property while selling your existing home can be a stressful and a challenging experience, but having the right team on your side makes all the difference. From the very beginning, Abi, Sally, and Barry were professional, proactive, and always available to provide updates, reassurance, and support. Unfortunately, our own selling estate agent in Ferring was not as effective when it came to communication and chasing matters when needed. In contrast, dealing with Miller Town & Country was a breath of fresh air. They always kept us informed, exceeded expectations, and made us feel supported and confident throughout the process. We cannot thank Abi, Sally, Barry & their team enough for their hard work, dedication, and outstanding customer service. We would highly recommend Miller Town & Country to anyone looking to buy or sell a home.

An initial valuation gave me confidence that the agents had a good knowledge of the local housing market. After listing the property, there was a flow of conducted viewings that led to a suitable buyer being found. The agents were respectful of my property at all times, providing me with comments from the viewers. I am delighted that their efforts were rewarded with the sale. 31st Dec 2025 (23 weeks ago)D R Kivell, in our experience, perform very well. We have been involved with them on two fairly significant transactions, and have also recommended them to friends. On each occasion, the outcome has been significantly more successful than major, well known, prestigious firms, which seemed surprising? Their response times are far quicker than the major firms, too. I'm fairly cynical about estate agents in general, as they tend to make promises and predictions that they don't then actually achieve - but I can honestly say that D R Kivell, each time, have achieved what they promised, and in good time! David Kivell seems very professional - I'm from a legal and commercial property background, and I rather grilled him about whether his predictions were achievable, and he stuck to his guns, and achieved exactly what he'd said. They seem good at valuations, too. Peter Palmer seems more like a wise, experienced farmer, and therefore very friendly and helpful. And he's a good photographer. Geoff Lupton seems to be the very helpful and efficient guy who keeps everything on track. Based on our own experiences, I've formed a very high opinion of them.

2nd Jun 2026 (8 days ago)Want a honest, reliable, friendly estate agent, then Elliot from Bond Oxborough Phillips, Okehampton is your man. Elliot helped hugely by checking out a contract we had with another estate agent and showed us their faults & flaws, before we changed to BOP. Before we even had photographs of our property, Elliot had a viewer lined up, who put in an offer straight away. Excellent service. Elle has been great, being our liaison between the solicitors & chasing everything up, which meant it was less stressful to us. She even went out her way on her day off to check in with us on completion day. Very pleased with the outcome from Bond Oxborough and would recommend this Okehampton branch. Thank you all.

He was very efficient in keeping us updated on the progress of the chain and very proactive in sorting problems within the chain as and when they came up. We had more dealings with Tom than what I did with our own estate agents who handled our sell. Would definitely recommend Strutt & Parker if you are thinking of putting your house on the market.

It was easy to contact the staff by phone. Hannah was particularly helpful. This small team gives a personal touch to the service. Very pleased.
7th Jan 2026 (22 weeks ago)After meeting several estate agents and getting valuations from all them, we were immediately impressed by Knight Franks professional and friendly approach plus their positive response to our property. Although we waited quite a long time to decide to proceed, Knight Frank were understanding, realistic, efficient and professional throughout. They prepared marketing materials, gave clear information about pricing, targeted appropriate clients for our property throughout a very difficult time. Florence Biss was our main contact and we cannot rate her highly enough, great communication, positive throughout and always responsive to our concerns. We ultimately achieved a positive outcome to a very complicated sale of house, land and outbuildings which I am not sure we would have achieved with some of the other companies. I am happy to recommend Knight Frank

They helped us chase out solicitors who weren’t playing ball and worked really hard to get the sale completed before Christmas thank you so much!

David and the team were extremely professional and knowledgeable, providing a top quality service throughout the purchasing process. David and the team were a real pleasure to work with, making the process stress free and assisting in anyway they could. They were instrumental in helping us move from offer accepted to completing in just 7 weeks. The property was a fantastic example of a home in a stunning location. 6th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Found what thought was our perfect forever home, two visits, put in offer verbally with agent at 2nd visit, to be followed up after bank holiday. Did some online research in the interim. Discovered property had been advertised 4 yrs ago, and been on / off the market since. When questioned, agents originally said that was just the way these things sometime happen. I asked for more specific detail, it then emerged that there was a septic tank issue, but no clarity over what, also a boundary dispute had arisen. I only found these things out after really pushing hard for reasons why the property had not sold in 4 years. These issues would have come up in the process, (one would hope) but only after I had spent money on survey / conveyancing. These issues should have been central to any discussion. Needless to say, walked away from the deal. Subsequently had a discussion with Regional Director, who recognised this episode as a learning opportunity for his team going forward.
30th Apr 2026 (6 weeks ago)My involvement with Stratton is fairly recent, however, taking all interactions together, I consider this agent to be responsive, professional, and aligned with my expectations, with no concerns emerging from correspondence. The allocated Lettings Negotiator (Jasmine) has been clear, courteous, accommodating, cooperative and willing to address any voiced concerns. Overall, so far, I am pleasantly impressed with this Agent and, hopefully, this will remain the case in the future.
