On Saturday my partner and I viewed 8 properties through multiple agents and without a doubt Tim stood out massively in comparison to the other agents we had met with. He really listened to us and on the spot thought about another property we could consider. Not only did he mention other options, he found the time in his already busy day to show us the other property that same day! By far the most efficient and proactive agent we have dealt! We are first time buyers but if we had something to sell we know exactly who we would go with to get the job done!

Have to say I have known Tim for many years now and his knowledge of the local housing market never ceases to amaze me. I have not met another agent in all me years with more integrity, local market knowledge and customer service. Some are as good, but in my opinion no one better. At the very least you should have a conversation with him or his team before deciding upon an agent.

Superb service from start to finish.
I am relatively new to house buying and selling, as this was my second home purchase. Unfortunately we had a very complicated and difficult chain, however, these estate agents helped us through all the drama to make it as smooth as possible. Small details such as a WhatsApp group that is viewable at most hours of the day by the team for any queries means that these guys are worth the money... I feel that with a "normal" estate agents, the communication would simply be nonexistent. This was apparent from my observation of the other estate agents involved in the chain. I cannot reccommend Tim, Charlotte and Francis enough!

From the time we first engaged with Mockford and Hunt to the time we managed to sell our house, we felt like they had nothing but our best interest in mind. I got the feeling that they genuinely cared about what was best for us, even if it wasn't always best for them.
They worked hard to sell our house and they were very good at keeping us informed of the progress of it. They were always very polite and personable in their communications. On top of this, they helped to steer us through the selling process to go through the process in an efficient manner. We found them to be very proactive all around.
I honestly can't find any fault with them. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is going through the house selling process.

The best estate agents ever (probably not only in Ashford)! ???? Tim, Frances and Charlotte were the agents we were buying a house with and we couldn’t have hoped for a more professional team to support us.
Once our offer on the house was accepted, we were added into a conversation on WhatsApp, which was a super easy and less formal way to ask questions and communicate.
They had always had everything under control, knew what was going on with the chain, were chasing whoever needed to be chased and helped us push for the answers when losing a house started becoming a real threat.
They know how to make the buying/selling situation as please and smooth as possible. They also care about the little things, f.e. a congrats card with your name on it coming together with the keys on the moving day.

Dealing with Tim & the Mockford & Hunt team has been an absolute pleasure from start to finish.
Real, genuine, personable human beings with a dynamic and modern approach towards supporting clients and selling properties.
Everything they've said they'll do, was done either when promised or before.
While dealing with Mockford & Hunt, it felt more like property boom market and but for the doom and gloom on the main stream media, we would be none the wiser while selling our home as Tim/the team got the house sold for the amount they estimated within 10 days of marketing it.
They use WhatsApp chat room for all concerned parties of the sale and i've never waited for longer than an hour for a response, with reality being often instant responses or within a few minutes.
They've taken an interest in us as a family, shown compassion, understanding and adopted a style suited to our needs.
We had world class photography, hints and tips from the team in regards to how to spruce up the property and have been supported the whole way through.
They also have a heart-felt involvement with the local community in terms of supporting charitable/good causes and within a few days of meeting them used this experience/knowledge to support me in my own cause of supporting those with addiction/mental health into recovery. This was done regardless of us signing on the dotted line and a true indicator that you're dealing with genuine people.
In summary; Mockford & Hunt are heart centred human beings that also happen to be a sizzling hot at selling houses and are a well oiled property selling machine that combine traditional values, expert knowledge of the market and the latest technology to get the job done.
Just for the record; we moved from an estate agent charging a lower % sales fee as we were so impressed with Tim and the team and haven't regretted it for one moment - the proof is in the pudding.
I hope this review is helpful to others considering whom to use to sell there home.

I can highly recommend Tim and his team at Mockford & Hunt. After many months of trying to sell my property and losing 3 buyers along the way, I was pretty exhausted with the process. I decided to switch agents and partnered, on a recommendation, with Tim. In a relatively short space of time, given the rocky market, they had a credible, serious buyer on the table and we were able to successfully proceed to completion.
Tim is an excellent professional who will be honest and open with you on your buying or selling journey. The team is always on hand and works hard to market your property to the right audience in the best possible way. I wish I had used them first as I might have been in my new home sooner!

I honestly cannot recommend Mockford and hunt enough!! They managed too sell our flat within a few days of it going on the market! It was our first time selling and Tim was very helpful and knowledgeable with helping us. They opened a whats app group with all of us which was so helpful! We could ask questions and send info! Then we found a house and picked the worlds worse solicitors! Tim, Francis and Charlotte went above and beyond too push and get were we needed too be after so many screw ups on our solicitors side! At one point I actually thought we would loose our dream house. But all 3 of these amazing people reassured us and we managed too complete on Friday! We wish we knew about mockford and hunt from the get go, after selling our house through another estate agent we had signed upto it fell through and I saw a house up for sale by mockford and hunt when I called it had gone by this point I was really deflated with the whole process of buying and selling but Tim on the phone was completley understanding and supportive of the situation giving very useful information and saying if you want my help just say the word after coming round for a cup of tea following that phone call he lifted my hopes of getting sold and moving forward. He came up with a plan of action explained everything so simply it was very reassuring, a week later just before going live with mockford and hunt we resold ours with our original estate agent which he was genuinely happy for us and continues to support us despite this. Mockford and hunt genuinely care for you as people and go above and beyond for getting you where you need to be and navigating the complicated paths of moving house I really do wish I knew about them when we first started if I could reccomend anybody I would reccomend mockford and hunt, we very much hope to buy through them

From start to finish, Mockford and Hunt provided outstanding service. When we first contacted Mockford and Hunt, we were in the early stages of looking at homes and seeing what we could get within our budget as we needed to get a bigger place.
Tim was very informative, polite, professional. There was not a time of day where I couldn't contact anyone at Mockford and Hunt, they will always go the extra mile to make sure any enquiries or worries are answered. Even though our buyer caused delays which didn't help the house we were buying and was not Mockford and Hunts fault.
Tim, Frances and Charlotte were able to get things sorted swiftly and fast to make sure we were able to move into our family home in time. I am really glad we decided to go with them over anyone else. With Mockford and Hunt, you feel like they actually care and are not just in it for the money, unlike other estate agents. Tim, Charlotte and Frances are an amazing team and I would recommend everyone goes with them over the big chains in Kent.

From the minute Tim stepped through my door and until my house was sold I knew I had made the right decision.
Between him and his team I was never lost on what was going on.
There was communication throughout the process was beyond expectation, which I have to say I was worried about based on the comments and feedback I had heard from friends/family who had gone through the selling process.

If you're looking for an estate agent with a personal touch and not to be treated like just another number then Mockford and Hunt are the obvious choice. We have used them on two occasions now and they have been nothing short of exceptional.
From start to finish everything was taken care of quickly and efficiently, nothing was too much trouble and at every occasion the whole team were friendly, polite and punctual. We mainly dealt with Tim who catered for our every need although Francis and Charlotte helped us numerous times too and were just as fantastic.

Right from the very first communication with Tim, I have been so impressed with the personal and honest professionalism from the team at Mockford & Hunt. Transparency and communication were one of my biggest ‘must haves’ when dealing with an agency and the guys have just nailed it! Whether it was me sending panic texts at 6.30am or quick catch ups, I knew they had our backs, alongside Tim, both Francis and Charlotte were an absolute pleasure to work with, super responsive and available. We'd never sold a house before and so were unsure what we were letting ourselves in for. Throughout we were provided with open, honest and excellent guidance that helped us achieve our asking price within 10 days of being placed on the market. In addition the professionals they recommended and/or engaged were also of the same level of service.
Although our house was only modest we'd feel confident having them as our agent on a property many times the value. Should we need to make a sale in future then Mockford & Hunt will be our first port of call.

Well what can we say...Tim is fantastic.
We had not heard of Mockford and Hunt estate agents as they are relatively new but do not let this put you off.
As soon as we called them (after finding them on google) for information and guidance we liked their attitude. Tim has first hand knowledge of the Ashford area and the area in which our house is.
He came round to give us a valuation and nothing was any trouble he spent so much time with us giving us that personal touch we were very impressed and confirmed M&H as the agents we wanted to use there and then.
Unlike some agents the professional photos and virtual tour they do showed our house true to form. Our house went live on the internet Friday night and sold on the Saturday morning we was so shocked.
Communication has been amazing and he is on the end of the phone or via email whenever we need him. Tim is friendly, helpful and very professional.
We chose to use an independent local agent and are so glad we did. We would recommend to anyone.

Having ummed and ahed about whether to take a risk with a new agent, we were swayed by the value and professionalism Mockford and Hunt seemed to offer. It was a very good call; our property went from listing to being under offer in three days and three viewings.
