Estate agents often get a bad reputation and are perhaps unfairly stereotyped. Westley and his team completely smash this stereotype to pieces. Their friendly, personal yet professional manner means I’ll never have to look elsewhere when it comes to selling a property.
Recently, a probate sale threw up a lot of challenges. Westley managed to juggle multiple roles during this process, offering experience and advice throughout. His “never say die” attitude eventually got us to completion and I couldn’t be more grateful.

I was really impressed by Westley and his approach - he knows the local area well, does what he says he will and had a very realistic view on how to market my property and what I could expect for it. He kept in regular contact with me through the process and within a week had found a buyer who offered the amount I wanted. It was very smooth throughout.
I felt that other (bigger) local agents who I also spoke to initially just wanted to give their spiel about how great they were and why they were better than the smaller agents - when in fact Morgan Alexander were a lot more positive about what they could do for me and actually take a very modern approach using social media to get more interest in their properties.

Our family were purchasing a vacant new build through MA so gave Louis, MA, a chance to market our lovely home. I supported him with the written details. We sold for a lower offer as he got a deal on the new build for us. Two weeks later he said the developers wanted 25k more from us! We had sorted our mortgage, paid a deposit for the plot and instructed solicitors. On the day we agreed the deal, our For Sale board arrived, over a week and a half late! For us, it felt like lies were told and he worked for the developers and our buyers, over us! We let the deal fall through, took our property off the market and will go back on with Steven Oates. Others friends of ours locally had this experience of immaturity from Louis. Westley is professional. Louis is a good person but let us down. We are back to square one, weeks on sadly!

I have already recommended MA twice since they handled brilliantly our flat sale in Hertford. This was a niche flat, four-bed, one of only two in a large development. We mostly dealt with Westley & Michael.
I will add my voice to previous reviews that complement their honesty, communication, partnership approach, professionalism, diligence and unique philosophy. Matt the MA photographer is gifted, a former estate agent himself. Westley suggested a good asking price and we achieved 98% of this. They fought on our behalf when facing a tricky buyer’s solicitor.
It was especially important to me that we could be hands-off. MA were knowledgeable about the specifics of our development – such as communal facilities, the lease conditions or the management company – they could handle most aspects of buyer enquiries. We set up before viewings and went out – MA staff were fully equipped to show people round and bring out the best in the flat, as though they had lived in it themselves.

The house we sold was unique as it was a converted stables, a few other estate agents valued our house at a price that was much lower than we hoped. MA valued our house nearly £40k more. As soon as the advert went live on right move we had so many viewings and sold shortly after. Due to lockdown, we lost our buyer (because of financial reasons) and MA found a new buyer 24 hours later! The key thing for me was communication, MA set up a whatsap group so that you can communicate so easily day/night and even weekends! The best estate agent in Hertford! I recently bought and sold a property with help from Nick Wells. It wasn’t an easy transaction although we have actually swapped so in theory should have been straightforward. Nick was able to navigate with surprisingly many stakeholders to make it as quick and smooth as possible. He gave a lot of his personal time to make it all happen, jumped hoops and gave it much more energy than I would expect. Thank you very much to Nick, Westley and Louie for all they efforts and patience(it took me 2 years to finally choose a place to buy and they all were there supporting me throughout that time).
Main thing I like about MA is that they never pushed anything onto me, were always available to meet/call but never crossed the line that so many others have done with the constant calling and salesy pushiness.
