Requested to view over 3 times as no anwser or reply called Clitheroe. Infor.ed rigbt away Requests stopped the weekend after viewing requests made.

I recently bought my first house through mortimers Accrington and I was very worried about the whole process, however mortimers were nothing but amazing.
I had the pleasure of being supported in this process with the lovely Leaoni who made this process so easy to understand and she was extremely reassuring. I felt I could speak to Leaoni at any time and she was always happy to speak with me, ensuring I felt happy and comfortable in the whole process. If I ever rang up and Leaoni was busy with another customer, someone in the office was always happy to help too.
It was also nice to see that recently mortimers hired a new employee who sold me car over a year ago (Jonathan). He will be a lovely fit in a love team of people who are really supportive and caring.
I will definitely go back to mortimers when I sell/buy properties in the future and I will definitely recommend them to my friends and family.

I have recently purchased a property that Mortimers in Accrington had advertised. It's a lovely new build, and when viewing the property the gentleman showing us the property was very helpful and polite. But if I am honest the 5 stars are because of Chloe Jenkinson who contacted us a few weeks after we had had an offer accepted to see how the move was progressing. I have to say she's a real credit to Mortimers Estate Agents, as Chloe was friendly, polite, helpful, informative and professional throughout. She answered every email, called me back when I wasn't able to speak to her and generally went above and beyond consistently. She kept us informed throughout, often letting us know of developments even before the Solicitors were able to tell us. There was a small issue that occurred, that wasn't anything to do with her, but she apologised even when she didn't have to. Which just highlights her sympathetic nature and thorough understanding of the stresses of moving. The moment Chloe got involved our stress levels more than halved, so I couldn't speak highly enough of her.

Matt came to value the house and was well prepared and professional by knowing how much I had previously bought the house for and gave a realistic price suggestion along with examples of similar houses that they had sold
Mortimer's put realistic prices for the properties that they sell as they're not trying to sell houses within a week so they can get paid or go the other way by giving an over estimated price so they can get your business
Chloe dealt between the solicitors, myself and the buyer and she kept me up to date with everything that was goin on and was brilliant to deal with
She is an asset to Mortimer's by being great at her job, personable and genuine, pleasant woman
If I ever have to sell a house again I would definitely use Mortimer's again

I viewed a few houses, even offered on one or two, but it wasn’t meant to be.
Then Chloe (who’s been working with me throughout my process) emailed me a property that may interest me… she wasn’t wrong, I now call that place home.
How was my experience with mortimers and Chloe? Honestly I don’t have any complaints. Chloe is an asset to Mortimers and made buying a house as stress-free as it can be. Excellent communication, professional, but also a really lovely person who engaged in chit chat every time we spoke.
I’m happy where I am, however when the day comes to sell and buy something bigger, I’ll definitely be using Mortimers as my estate agent.

After the initial buyer pulled out just before Xmas they quickly organised viewings and we received another offer within 48 hrs, in what is an increasingly difficult marketplace. I sold my late mothers' house with Mortimers Accrington Branch in July 2022. I found the service they provided to be professional and generally very competent. The marketing of the house was done to a high standard and the house achieved a good price.I was kept up to date with viewings and feedback from viewers. Mortimers staff conducted the viewings which was very helpful , they also performed weekly checks on the empty house whilst I was abroad for several months.

Me and my partner have just bought a property with Mortimers we genuinely cannot recommend them enough. We’d actually gone for another property with another estate agents only to discover he was pushy and rude. So when we found our new home and spoke with Chloe we knew this was the place for us! She was incredibly helpful and didn’t mind my million questions, emails and calls (ha sorry!) and regularly updated us at the least on a weekly basis. She pushed both solicitors to keep moving and get things done in a timely manner without hesitation. She would call and be frustrated herself with any delays and dived head first into the whole process and telling me what happens next, when & why. The weekly phone calls were such a relief knowing that things were processing and if they stalled she soon hassled people as to why and to hurry up! Again, thank you so much Chloe we will absolutely not hesitate in recommending anyone to you! You kept me sane when the house buying world was spinning. Mortimers have just sold my parent’s home of 57 years. During this time my mother was hospitalised several times and nothing was too much trouble, from Matthew visiting her in her sheltered housetop email from Chloe asking about her health on a regular basis. When you do give a review, you then get harassed by Matthew at the Accrington Branch at 20.07 pm on WhatsApp, till the following day, trying to justify what happened.
I think this behaviour is absolutely disgusting, and then they wonder why they get 1 star.

Selling our home with Mortimers Estate Agents in Accrington has been a very positive experience.
During Sam's initial visit to give us a valuation it was apparant that he'd taken time to research other similar properties in the area. Sam's knowledge and preparation made him stand out head and shoulders above the other estate agents who visited, I felt that Mortimers genuinely wanted to sell our home for us and they took pride in ensuring excellent customer service throughout.
I appreciated that Mortimers took a video of our house, took time to include a floor plan, allowed me to add to the house description and offered us different selling options. We chose to have a dedicated viewing day where we vacated the house and Mortimers showed people round. We were also happy to pay on a commission basis instead of a flat fee.
During this time when viewing were being booked I spoke to Matthew on almost a daily basis, we had some fantastic conversations, I never once felt that he was 'selling' to me, Matthew was very supportive and offered me advice on numerous other issues. If I rang and he wasn't available, he would always ring back.
Mortimers marketing strategy clearly worked and within one week we had 19 viewings booked in on one day, many making offers above the asking price. Sam dealt with the negotiation and we are delighted with the offer we accepted.
Following the negotiation, we didn't hear from Mortimers much as we were in the hands of the solicitors. On the occasions I did make contact I was always impressed how well all the staff in the office communicate with one another. Whilst Matthew was our assigned Negotiator, his colleague Leanne was always aware of what was happening.
Several months after moving house I contacted Mortimers, despite not being a current customer Matthew very kindly did me a huge favour for which I am very grateful - another example of his exemplary customer service.
We don't intend on moving house again but if we ever do, Mortimers will be our first choice of estate agent!

I made the decision to use Mortimers Accrington based on them being a local company with many years experience.
From the first call they were extremely professional and efficient. The selling process was fully explained. I was asked what I hoped to get for the property and this was in-line with the valuation given.
After photographs were taken the draft advert was sent to me, I suggested alterations and asked for new photographs. This was done without question.
The house was put on the market and was dealt with by Leanne Taylor. I cannot fault the service given by Leanne who kept me fully informed. It was obvious that she had my interests at heart and didn't just want to get a quick sale.
Leanne's experience within the estate agent environment was obvious and this resulted in me obtaining the best price for the property.
Emails and phone calls were answered quickly and efficiently.
Delays of 3 months were down to the other parties solicitors and this was rectified by Leanne resulting in completion within a further 5 weeks.
She is fully of enthusiasm and energy which puts a customer at ease that they are dealings with professionals.
I must add that all the staff that I have spoken to at Mortimers Accrington branch have been faultless and I would highly recommend them if you want to sell your house.

Trying to sell my late Mother's house during the covid lockdown was a distressing nightmare but the team at Mortimers, and especially Leanne, were there to support me every step of the way and made such a difficult and traumatic job so much easier. Leanne led me through the steps and was always on the other end of the phone if I needed help or advice. Everyone I dealt with at the Accrington office was so friendly and professional and I cannot recommend them highly enough - they all made the process very easy and found a buyer within a week of the house being advertised. If you compare fees you may think they are a little higher than some of their competitors but I would say it is worth paying a little more for such excellent and speedy service. To sell a house in a week during lockdown was worth every penny of their fees and I will be recommending them to everyone I know who wants to buy or sell property.

Apart from the categories here listed, they went above and beyond in every aspect of our sale.
The true quality is when things go wrong, and in every aspect of our sales, for one reason or another they did everything possible to "sort out/resolve" settle" a whole host of issues that came out of the proverbial "woodwork" .
Every member of the staff were simply awesome. They are genuine hard working calm professionals.
I could not recommend this Branch more. I am not related/ been paid/ or have any vested interest in my review. It is genuine.

I have just completed the sale of my mum's house and chose Mortimers to navigate me through. Having had pitches from various providers, both traditional and online but it was clear, after my initial meeting, Mortimers were head and shoulders above everyone else I had seen. They understood us, the area, the house. Mortimers were attentive and engaging, they listened to me and were not dismissive of my input.
The viewings started on day one. Mortimers had been on to perspective buyers, marketing the house before the online blurb had even been finalised. I was present at viewings but they did everything, showed people around and even policed their stringent Covid policy, which was thorough and professional. A couple of people stepped out of line and were quickly reeled back in, politely.
My award for Senior Sales of the years has to go to Leanne Taylor. Where would I be without Leanne? Probably still for sale and on tranquillisers. Throughout the process, Leanne was there. She called back when she said she would, she did what she said she would and was frankly a rock. During a couple of rocky moments she was supportive and positive, she was always there when I needed her and she never made me feel like I was taking up her time, even when she was clearly mad busy. Not all heroes wear capes.
Mortimers were exceptional. I had high expectations because of the team I had the good fortune to work with, but they surpassed all of them. Their professionalism, dedication to hard work, customer focus, knowledge, innovation and enthusiasm can't be found anywhere.
On a final, important note, our sale went through in around 10 weeks, which seemed an age of panic. But jn reality it is no time at all. Down to the way Mortimers set up and steer the process and the exceptional manner in which Leanne communicates with the buyers, that did not go unnoticed. ????????????

Tell you they've got buyers to get us on the books and then we find out they did not. The manager Kim especially was particularly difficult to deal with. When I complained about her she thought we were out of order for letting higher management know of her utter incompetence and trail of lies.
She became the victim which shows how weak and useless she is.
They bring out feelings of hatred and cause the stress. Scum.

I've tried almost all of the estate agents in Accrington and I have to say Mortimers were the best. I found them to be very professional and approachable, unlike my experience with another (I won't mention who) popular agent in the town.
I didn't feel pressured to drop my house value or accept silly offers and the evaluation was a fair one for the house/area. Changing any pictures for the point of sale was not a problem and they took my recommendations to hand. They also kept in mind any instructions I left for viewings which I was more than happy with.
Melissa handled my sale, she kept me involved through the sale process and came back to me quickly on any queries or suggestions I had to help sell my house. I was quite hands on with the sale but Melissa did make me feel at ease with how it was proceeding.
I was also impressed that they are backed up with an out of office call centre which could also take appointments for viewings. I've not known of this service with other agents and that also helped with bringing in the viewings. In fact out of all of them, Mortimers got me the most viewings I had ever had so this was a nice result.
I used Mortimers recommended solicitors which were also very quick and responsive, they came at a competitive cost as well. I would also recommend them for the legal side of things.

The office promised to get in touch with the letting agent to asses the property. and then....... nothing. I sent emails, called the shop and was promised call backs. Every time I tried to speak to Shelley she was biusy and would call me back. Don't waste your time.

I have found this team not only productive beyond what we anticipated but through the whole process of searching ,finding and buying our property made every stage easier and went again went out of their way to aide the end process
