We moved one week ago and I have given time for the dust to settle before writing this review; however I still feel it would be inaccurate for me to give more than one star. As the buyer you definitely feel you are not as important as the seller. Having viewed in August and being unable to view our property again till the day after missives were concluded added to the stress of the move. We haven't considered reaching out to them regarding some issues we've had since moving in to the property as they had no intention of helping us throughout the process. Possibly a good agent for the seller though.... Read more

Not the of best service you can get, as a buyer you are not informed of anything at each stage of the sale. if any queries they would advise to route this via solicitor but if they need any information they would directly call and push. Also, hand overs of the property are not done promptly. The property you see during the viewings is entirely different when you move in. They don't take responsibility for anything.... Read more

Excellent service and spot on with the initial valuation and expected sale price. The marketing material was fantastic and a professional photographer and videographer were used by Rettie and our viewers commented positively on the quality and how the house was as seen via the marketing material. Rettie Newton Mearns were fantastic when we put our house on the market. I found them much more approachable and down to earth than some of their competitors. Rettie sold our house but the sale eventually fell through. Alison, Amy and Lynn were so enthusiastic and committed to making sure our property was put back on the market at the right time.
