I recently worked with Sue Taylor – She handled the sale of my mother’s house. She recently died - Sue was so helpful and efficient. Her manner was business like and reassuring. She was so easy to talk to and nothing was too much trouble. It is a difficult time when a relative dies and then a house sale, both stressful events. Sue was quickly reassuring and informative. I feel these qualities should be recognised, I would commend her to you. She treated me with respect and a lovely sense of humour.

Freakin' awful. Why can't Google and other software suppliers understand that we are not all computer savvy? Why are you giving me an email address that I hardly use then don't do anything when I tell you that I did not changed my password 38 days ago????? Yours Frustrated User (and totally fed up with having to deal with people who don't know logic or that 'to assume' is just crazy lazy stupid.
We sold our old house and also bought our new house through Xact and found them to be extremely helpful and professional. We received excellent service and communication with the office, throughout the whole process, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
Honestly couldn't have asked for more from my estate agent. Went above and beyond with selling my house and helping me purchase my new one. Will use them time and time again in the future. Couldn't recommend more.
Just sold my house with Hunters but the service was terrible - I really don't know what's happened as they used to be good - so disappointing. None of their staff ever did what they promised and didn't seem to care.
From the first valuation through to the after sales service Smarthomes have excelled themselves.
Jamie came round originally and gave us some great advice and a thorough valuation (this later proved to be very accurate). His knowledge of the local area and the potential buyers was extremely impressive.
We sold our house within four days of being on the market and were then passed on to the brilliant Helen.
Helen was relentless in chasing everyone down and smoothing the process. Her pro-active and positive attitude ensured we exchanged weeks before we would have without her.
If you're looking to sell you property then Smarthomes is the place to go.

Well Jamie it certainly has been an experience, one I would never like to repeat again. You were recommended to me, something I could not reciprocate, your web site and literature portray you as the Number One, the best in the business. Yet you have no online reviews, strange, well you have now:-
Maybe my expectations are too great and my standards too high. You were contracted to manage my property for which you received a fee, yet you appear to be more tenant orientated.
I have the expectations of a normal person what I abhor is commercial bad practice and shoddy professionalism . Having read your web site you appear to be Gods gift to the home owner. Your statements includes over 120 years experience in my case it would seem like 1 years experience 120 times, What went wrong? not with just the departed tenants but the whole experience of appointing Smart to Manage our property. A catalouge of errors from the start, no copies of inventories, incorrect descriptions, and items missing. No copies of certificates, double certificating and charging, double charging for insurance and deposit protection. I have yet to receive a tenancy termination report and inventory check on the recently departed tenants. Submission on the TDS dispute report that they were receiving housing benefits which invalidates my insurance.
Inspections that appear a cursory hello how are you today, an inspection report lacking in substance, failure to ensure the tenants are keeping to their contractual agreement and a lack of judgment in what is overgrown, misuse, negligence, damage or fair wear and tear.
