Right from the initial valuation I felt that Oliver knew the market, knew the area and would do all he could to make sure my house was seen and sold for a good price. They totally did all that with great photos and a video walk through as well, viewings were lined up within a week and someone from their office escorted every viewing. He negotiated the offers and I felt that they really cared, a great service in all ways. I definitely recommend them.

If they are selling a property and the house is up with mutliple agencies, don't expect OJ to be honest at all. They want that commission, and will pretty much ward off anyone else viewing it with any other agent, by "taking keys home" or not putting offers forward if they already have a 'buyer'. Backhanders galore with this Agent. Avoid both selling and buyer.

I bought a house through Oliver James estate agents and dealt with Oliver directly. He was extremely professional, responsive and most of all reassuring. I felt he listened to what we needed, worked fast to get us info we needed and was always calm - even when I was not! Bravo to the guy for handling a heavily pregnant (and emotional!) woman trying to buy a house during a pandemic. If we ever sell this dream home, it will be with Oliver. Viewed 2 rental properties with Oliver James, we believe we were the first to rang asked for viewing the moment we saw on just added lists, we was not booked the first slot of viewings. After viewed the property, we asked if anyone made an offer yet, they said no. So we made an offer to go a head with renting the property. Their respond was, they have to let everyone that was booked in to view it. Then will let us know the outcome. We saw the property we wanted was taken off as let agreed. And when we said we made the offer first and they come back as first come first served!

Poor customer service, called to book to make an appointment for a house viewing, no confirmation sent as advised no follow up telephone call advertising that the property we had arranged to view was now stc called again was advised Sam would call back within 30 minutes still waiting poor communication poor customer service wouldn’t recommend buying a house from these with such poor communication

Absolutely rubbish. They cancelled our viewing one day before it was booked for because someone else made an offer. Even though we've been promised there would be no viewings of the property through the weekend until Wednesday when our viewing was booked in for as the tenant did not allow viewings if he wasn't present. Huge disappointment. I promise that I am going to warn all my friends and people I know about how we've been treated.
