I was recently notified that the landlord of the property I was renting wasn't going to renew the lease and was taking back possession of their property at the end of the lease agreement. This is of course a stressful situation balancing work, finding a new home and moving but I am pleased to say that Monta Beguna of Harvey Robinson was extremely understanding and helpful in the tasks I had to complete. Monta quickly found me a comparable home to rent taking away the worry of finding a new home in such short notice. I had a problem with the included dishwasher in my rental property. The lettings team at Harvey Robinson were excellent. A contractor was quickly dispatched to see if it could be fixed but unfortunately it was not repairable. Sam and Tamara at the Harvey Robinson, Huntingdon branch swiftly contacted the landlord. And a new dishwasher was soon installed. An excellent service from start to finish. I was always informed and the timeframe in which they worked was brilliant. Highly recommended.

Myself and my partner have been renting via Harvey Robinson for the last 4 months and they have been amazing. We recently had some maintenance issues with our gas supplier meaning we had no heating or hot water and within a few hours the issues were resolved and this is all thanks to Lisa Molyneaux & Monta Beguna. The worry of not having any hot water or heating with the weekend coming and it being winter is just awful. Lisa actually called the supplier on our behalf so we didn’t have to sit on hold to them. You can’t get better customer service than that! It took four months for Marco, Jessica and Pate', a former Northamptonshire stray cat, to find a place to call home, in the lovely Huntington.
With zero knowledge, they managed to secure a nice cluster house with a big garden, where Pate' will have hours of pleasurable time!
Human beings, and not just another case on a file: that's the kind of reassuring feeling they had since day one.
Along the process, many other professionals were introduced to them: the conveyancer, the RICS surveyor, the outstanding mortgage broker, the life insurance broker. All of them on the same wavelength of the estate agents: humble, hard working, supporting and highly professional.
It wasn't easy due to issues with the tenant who was buying a property in turn, delaying the chain, and with the seller's power of attorney about to be revoked because of the life critical conditions of the house owner. But all of this got managed without us being concerned, being backed up by such an outstanding team: they literally burned the midnight oil to make it go as smoothly as possible, regardless of the challenging situation.

Not being based in the Huntingdon area, I was anxious about how the sale of my aunt's house, needed to fund her care home fees, might proceed. I need not have worried. From the very first meeting with Jodie Craig of the Huntingdon office of Harvey Robinson, I felt confident that the sale was in competent and very capable hands. This feeling was reinforced by all the subsequent contacts I had with Jodie and her team. Whilst I was sure they have many properties to deal with on a daily basis, their detailed attention to what was a relatively modest transaction was exemplary. In addition, I was very satisfied with the contractors that were sourced both for the cleaning of the house before the launch of the property on the market and the final clearance, which removed another potential source of anxiety for me. Our experience with Harvey Robinson has always been excellent, we purchased our first home through them and 5 years later sold it onwards through them. Their communication is excellent - what's particularly great is the instant feedback you get emailed after each viewing. You get feedback on the same day so you're not left wondering how they found your home, which is lovely when you know strangers have been shown around it! They contact you regularly throughout the process of sale to let you know any updates. You never feel forgotten about in the process and the team are all really friendly, approachable and down to earth. They booked me straight away in for a viewing with email confirmation and even the day of the viewing gave me a call to remind me of the viewing which massively helps when I am so busy. After we moved: It's very disappointing to see they don't respect the tenants privacy. They just said they have a key and they will provide it to contractors wherever they want. They can't tell us exact time or even a time slot l. So can you imagine I am with little children including a baby. So they need their daily routine and naps. They also wrote down our requirements during the viewing and said it's been passed to the landlord but actually they didn't tell him nothing, just lied...
so I have to altet the review and the stars down to 1 because you can't treat people like rubbish!

After leaving with the letting agents after a year I can say during my time with them was a good experience….. until I left the property and they tried to screw me out of my deposit after over a week dealing with emails with a woman called sam smalley, she called me with an unscheduled call to discuss these matters as I was not happy with what I was being charged for and they was ludicrous what was on there,
Failure to provide a full break down in costs, and during the discussion over the phone she appeared to of got very aggravated and interrupting myself every time I tried to speak, to then suggest that when I mentioned if you would let me speak without being interrupting that I’m being rude that she was rude that whole time with the interruptions, to then I suggest it was much easier over email & then she hung up the phone, I have to say with shock this is very very unprofessional and is not good customer service….. this is not what a company needs for their image

He was also more than willing to offer me advice on another property we were purchasing through a less helpful agent!
One of the biggest unique selling points of HR for us was that the people doing the viewings know the property. The agency we purchased our property from couldn’t answer several very basic questions on our viewing which really prolonged the process and nearly lost us the sale!

When you buy/sell houses in the UK, you will realise that there is never any transparency. In our case we the buyer solicitor was a very unprofessional outfit. Harvey Robinson were really good throughout a fairly lengthy stressful house sale and I'd heartily recommend them! Viewings were always arranged well with immediate feedback provided, always available to answer calls and respond to any questions, even answering via WhatsApp out of hours. Their chasing of the chain and providing regular updates were exceptional, especially during the final weeks. I've knocked off one star due to a couple of reasons; follow up on viewings post initial feedback didn't seem to happen and a miscommunication on the moving date which ended up costing me money which I think could have been better handled.

Looking for our forever home - Telephoned to enquire about one of the properties for sale with this company, the lady I spoke to said they wouldn’t entertain us because we hadn’t yet sold ours. I didn’t even get as far as giving the address of the one we were interested in or any other details - apart from saying ours was on the market. They need to change their adverts to say they’ll only sell to either those that have sold or to first time buyers. Other estate agents appear to be taking a more pragmatic approach.

We accepted an offer in May and has taken until middle of November to complete,thats with us having to phone for updates as never kept informed.

Regards the Reply...can i ask if i was such a horrid abusive nasty person,why on earth continue with sale,why not put staff/company before the profit.
Unless ofcourse youve based your comments on assumptions and added your own tupperance worth into the mix.
As for refusing to move...keys were issused to buyers at 10am...keys issued to us two hours later and was 90% moved out when buyers arrived,which you was advised before hand would be the case (property couldnt be empty until earliest 1-2pm.
Id suggest recording of all your calls as i do,saves any doubt on who said what.!!

I normally dont bother with reviews but i have to say, the staff at Harvey Robinson have been super helpful and very much on point through this nerve wrecking experience called selling a house, any time I needed to contact the solicitor (who I felt was too casual at times) they step in and saved me from an awkward conversation with the solicitor, any time I thought the buyers where just stringing me along...once again these guys stepped in chased the buyer and got the ball back onto the court...It was mostly Grant and Lucy who looked after me...Grant pretty much made miracles happen and Lucy was like his assistant when he was out of the office, but once again without going into too much detail Grant and Lucy mostly but the whole staff over there made me feel like I was the most important customer they had on their books which I felt so relived about...any question I had they answered and made it simple for a novice like me to understand.

Left me standing outside a property when they didn’t inform me that the tennent was ill. Woman that works for Harvey Robinson lied over the phone saying she tried to ring me and left an email she didn’t do either of these things and was incredibly rude over the phone when I tried to find out what was going on. Very disinterested in trying to help me
