This agency's just awful, especially when it comes to customer service. When I moved in eleven months ago, they never gave me a key to my bedroom, and when I complained to the landlord, they brushed it off. My lease is ending in a month, and they are doing room viewings. After one of these viewings, the agent, Huseyin, ended up locking me out of my bedroom. I came home at 10 PM to find myself stuck in the hallway since there's no living room in this house. When I called Huseyin about it, he did not own up to his mistake or apologize and instead just lied, saying the room was already locked when he arrived and that he just locked it again. But the room can only be locked from the inside without a key, and to top it off, he gave me attitude on the phone, implying “I didn't understand English”. Aside from the bad customer service, if you end up renting from them, be weary of the mediocre properties, lengthy leases, mold issues, and a house that's freezing in winter despite the heating being on.... I rented a studio flat in Muswell Hill through this agency for three years. The entire experience has been an absolute pleasure, right from the initial viewing with Huseyin. Francesca and Natasha have also been a huge help - they are decent, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble and any issues were resolved within a day or two. I was struck by the difference when I started having to deal with other estate agents - not always so pleasant. I would highly recommend them and hope to rent through them again in future.... I was renting a studio flat with this agency and they made everything so smooth and helped me with anything I needed regarding the studio flat I was renting. The all team are very professional and very helpful with anything you request. I definitely recommend this agency and I will always contact them if I need to rent any properties in the future for myself or my family or friends. Spoke to an extremely rood agent, a highly unprofessional service where an agent shouts at their potential customer. In my years of working with property agencies this is the worst service I have ever received. The agent made up some excuse about not letting the property to us after i described my requirements. I asked for legal advice on the terms of this agents refusal and there were no legal basis unless it was in landlords terms or request. The agent did not mention that this was a landlord request / terms but made up a story about some law that does not apply to the size of this property. I called back in order to enquire if this was a landlords retirement only to be stopped mid sentence with an abusive shouting agent who during both calls was not only arguing, but shouting and as it clearly know now has no idea about the living standards law within England. Highly unprofessional service, would not recommend to use such rude and unprofessional agency to any landlords or potential tenants, especially with an office that clearly has a staff member with anger management issues. Genuinely I have never spoke to such a horrible, rude and angry person, especially when i was calm and professional during the whole conversation, there were no basis to be so rude and angry. If I could give 0 stars I would. Absolutely horrific estate agents. We suffered with toxic black mould and carpet beetles for our year as tenants for One to One estate agents. They evicted us on the grounds that we complained too much about several issues in the flat, including the black mould which they did not remove, they just painted over! They informed us we had to move out so they could carry out renovations which they did not - We have found out there is a new couple living in there and all they did was paint over the black mould that covered the walls of every single room. We hope that they don’t suffer with the same health issues that we developed over our time in the property. If those tenants are reading this, you should leave ASAP because winters are awful in the property and the landlords do NOT care about your health and well-being. We don’t want you to suffer like we did. The cleaner they hired has not only stolen our mail, but has stolen belongings from other tenants including an apple MacBook and jewellery. They owe us money and we are considering taking legal action. The employee who dealt with our issues, called Francesca is quite frankly a terrible human being, with ZERO empathy. Now that we have moved and are under an estate agents that are very reputable - They actually care and will get things done, we have never been happier.... Read more

One to One estated booked me in for a property viewing today at 1PM. I called yesterday to arrange and they told me to call tomorrow. I called today at 8AM and they booked me in for a viewing at 1PM. As I was on to the property which is 1.5 hours away from me by train, they cancelled and yold me the property had been let. Despite wanting to offer the landlord more than the rental price, they still said no. Very unproffesional and I wouldnt recommend anyone to use their services. Now im on a train for no reason. Like every agency, they will try to take as much as they can from the deposit. We rented for a year and they always helped us, except when our neighbour started to make our lives impossible with personal attacks. By the way we found our flat dirty and we had to buy multiple cleaning products to make it liveable. We sold them our drawer and, when we left, they didn't give us the money but detracted them from our deposit by making up excuses, even though we had videos showing the flat how we left it, without the problems they were making up. Please be careful and take as much pictures as you can before leaving the property.... Read more

Really impressed with One To One Estates from start to finish. Very helpful when I first rented a property with them, and have been very responsive throughout the tenancy. When I gave notice they provided clear details on the cleaning policy to ensure I received my deposit back in full, and needless to say I was very happy with the result :) Would definitely recommend going to One To One to rent a property.... Would not recommend this agency, take ages to reply to emails and are very unhelpful over the phone. Also tried to unlawfully keep £250 from my deposit return, which they ended up giving back after a barrage of emails, and quoting a clause in the agreement which was irrelevant to the deposit return, arguing with me when they clearly were in the wrong. We rented from One to One Estates in Archway in 2018/19. They were great throughout the tenancy - helpful, quick to respond and always reasonable. The house was clean and in great condition when we received it, and they kept it that way throughout by sorting out any maintenance issues immediately (often on the same day they were reported!). Perhaps too landlord friendly and not recognising that tenants are also customers. Their standard tenancy contract doesn’t permit tenants to bring their furniture, even to an unfinished property! I wish I could leave this awful company less than one star. After a 2 year contract with them I waiter over 2 months for my deposit and I still didn’t receive it after several calls and e-mail. Even though they say it will be returned within 10 working days, it’s all a joke. I’ve been charged for the “curtains” and for the “painting”( when I sent a painter before my move out ) I had never heard of it. Seemed quite professional. Had a good range of items to show me however they tend to deal more with students and younger professionals, so trying to let to me as a senior manager seemed tricky when it came to agreeing terms of lease. In the end the conversation did break down leaving me with only a few days to find somewhere to live. They did however handle the return of my deposit promptly and professionally. Better than I can say for others. If you need furnished and have few requirements (and lower budget) then I can see they might be an okay option.... Read more

We rented a flat let and managed by One to One for five years until recently moving out of the area. They have been consistently professional - really friendly and helpful and any issues/repairs with the flat were resolved very promptly. We got our deposit back with no issues within two weeks of moving out, and their fees were very reasonable compared to others. Overall they were a pleasure to deal with - certainly a much the best experience we have had with a letting agent. I would definitely recommend them.... Read more

Rented a 2 bed flat with them 2013-14. When shown around we were lied to about fact that there was central heating (there was none on property). The flat was in the basement and had mould growing in it and was excessively damp, with fungus on corners of rooms. When we left the property they didnt repay our security deposit for a number of months then lied about it being because of computer faults. I knew because I went to their office and at least two comps were functioning fine. When I complained to the guy working there Hussain he was sarky and rude and eventually hung up on me! Avoid like the plague Edited to respond to owners response - Indeed the advert stated electric heating but when asked right after the viewing if the property had central heating as I hadn't seen any I was told by Hossein that there was. Furthermore my co-renting flatmate who I did not have any contact with afterwards was late paying rent not me. And it was stated to me by Francesca in the office that the deposit was delayed due to a computer fault. The response contains outright lies. Ridiculously pathetic service.... Read more

We had a really great experience renting a flat in Finsbury Park with One To One. The team were so helpful from the very start when we viewed the flat until we moved out, always fixing any problems quickly and efficiently whilst always being friendly, caring and polite.
