I would use Litchfields again and am happy to recommend to others. At the outset they gave a fair valuation of our property and were straight talking and knowledgeable about the area. Our sale occurred during a difficult market period but despite this, we had a good level of viewings and helpful on-going discussions about how to deal with prevailing market conditions. We felt we were always getting a realistic opinion and they were also very good at keeping us updated and providing feedback from viewings.
We have just completed the purchase of our property thanks to Giselle and John from Litchfields Highgate. We have really been impressed by the level of support they gave us as well as by their kindness. Their priority is really to make their clients happy. They have helped us all the way. They understood our constraints and have been a genuine source of advice and care that is really special. Well done guys and a big thank you from both of us!
Abdi was really friendly, versatile and customer focussed. My wife and I would both highly reccomend him.
Absolutely Appalling. I would strongly advise anyone thinking of using this agency to reconsider.
The agent who was in charge of our letting was James. When showing us round he promised many things such as the re-grouting of a bathroom and a professional clean before we moved in. After you have paid he completely denies he ever said these things and says you agreed to the flat ‘As seen’. A phrase which he so rigidly stuck to we expect to move in with him in the lounge as this was technically ‘As seen’.
When we were handed the sets of keys, some of which did not even work, we went to take a look at the flat. The professional clean had undoubtedly never happened. There was half eaten food in the fridge, rubbish under the beds and even ash in the ashtrays. Also despite insisting the flat was ‘As seen’ some of the nicer items of furniture had been removed.
When we tried to ring James explaining this, coincidentally for the next few days whenever we rang we would be told ‘he is out on a viewing’, ‘he is out the back’, ‘he has just had to dash out of the office’ and our favourite - ‘he is on the toilet’. None of us have been able to get through to him despite calling on so many various occasions.
Seeing as James had apparently disappeared of the face of the earth the only suggestion they had was to call the landlady directly. Which makes you wonder what on earth the extortionate agency fees you pay are for, when I asked this I was informed that they do not manage the properties so I genuinely am at a loss as to what that charge is for. The service was terrible, the communication with our agent close to non-existent. I cannot stress how much we would advise against using these agents for lettings.
Jonathan Rose found our flat for us, and when the time came to sell he found us a buyer. His advice has always been good. He knows his market intimately. . And he is a pleasure to deal with.

These people are so bad it's nearly criminal. We rented our flat out with them and they told us the tenants would be there at noon on a certain day to get the keys. At 7am that day, I was woken up by a noise...the tenants breaking into the flat with a locksmith! Apparently the agent didn't pass the message on that they were to be there at noon. Ok, these things happen. But we had agreed to rent the flat out fully furnished, and the tenants came with a moving van at 7am to take out our furniture!! The nasty female agent (Rachel, I believe) couldn't have cared less. Basically, just told me 'the contract is signed, it's a done deal', despite the horrendous violation of contract by these terrible tenants. The people Green & Co found were from hell - they destroyed our flat in the end, painted all the walls weird colours, lost or destroyed many of our belongings, and thank god they cut their contract short and had to move out early. But the whole tenancy was a terrible struggle and the woman at Green & Co had a very nasty attitude about helping us deal with them - she's very arrogant, rude and pushy. Never, ever again!
We were moving into a new flat in the Crouch End area. I tried out some of the rival agents but Shakir was by far the most helpful agent that we came across which ultimately led us to let through this company. He is honest and straightforward - no time wasting. He was extremely helpful including walking miles in the snow to make sure we were able to move in on the Sunday that we wanted. We couldn't have asked for more.
Greene & Co. we’re not just unhelpful during the purchase our flat in crouch end, we found them to be highly untruthful. They lied to us about various aspects of the property.
Further, they took advantage of the fact that they were first time buyers and we’re patronising throughout the buying process.
Dan and Summer were particularly disappointing.
Would not recommend them and I suspect that all good reviews here were written by sellers rather than buyers.
Knight frank simply wonderful to work with attentive to detail and a friendly personally approach. I have especially enjoyed working with Laura from the sales department in hampstead. She has been absolutely excellent at showing us around and keeping us up to date with the latest on offer thank you very much!
Hy dear friend how r u im sawaid ali from Pakistan my age 30 i like Dr Anastasia moris
This was the best agency I have dealt with in London. They went above and beyond to secure the flat I wanted and have managed all of the requests with care and without being dismissive. They addressed all needs before and after leaving the flat on behalf of the flat owner. I would definitely would not think twice before reaching out to them when in need of another flat.
My experience with David Astburys proved that they are in fact the best agency that I have ever worked with, despite complications in the last moment (not by their fault) they managed to find us even better place. Really sincere people with amazing profesional and helpful behaviour.
