Their valuation was too high and potentially meant it took us longer to sell. The online advert photos were taken on a mobile phone by one of the agents instead of professionally taken. Rooms were not staged to make them look more attractive in advertising material. I was working from home for some of the viewings and was very impressed with Lisa and the way she tried to sell the property to potential buyers. Their communication was good, checking in with us during quiet spells to let us know we hadn't been forgotten about and always provided feedback from viewings. They did book viewings for people who were not yet qualified as buyers, did not have their place on the market yet or did not have a mortgage agreed, which potentially meant we had more viewings with less serious/interested parties. We are starting to see value for their commission rate now they are handling communications between multiple parties and solicitors.

I drove from Bexhill to view a property in Eastbourne. I was a little early, so I waited outside. At the time of the appointment I received a call ,saying that the agent had been delayed. She arrived 10 minutes later. On entering the property, she demand that we take our shoes off, because of very cheap new carpets. I explained that I had diabetes and that my feet were numb,and needed my shoes for balance. We were not allowed in!

We had an ordeal with regards to the sellers solicitors, Lisa went completely above and beyond to ensure every issue was resolved, every bit of paperwork had been chased up, she would constantly chase up outstanding issues and would keep me updated with every new development.
Without her hard work I truly believe we would have had our mortgage expire and everything thing fall through.

Richard and Neil provide a service way above other agents. I sold 2 properties with them recently, and after marketing at realistic prices they both sold quickly. However, following acceptance of offers, it was then that Openhouse really came into their own. Always on the ball and ahead of the game, their chasing up and liasing with all parties was first class, and was always done with a very personal service. Cannot recommend them highly enough.

What can i say about Open House, Richard and Neil are two very dedicated hard working guys nothing is too much trouble and they work late keeping you informed. We spent 4 years trying to sell our 7 bedroom house with as many agents over the years who lost interest then we tried open house it wasn't easy but these guys worked hard for us and succeeded where all the others failed . There is no loss of interest with them they keep at it with the same enthusiasm as at the start Will definately use them again and would unreservedly reccomend them to anyone who needs a friendly dedicated team that delivers. Richard and Neil were the estate agents for the house we bought.
Both of them were in constant contact with us from the first viewing all the way through to exchange and completion. Their professional yet friendly approach managed to calm and reassure us where needed. Nothing was too much trouble and they even emailed to update us after 7pm without us having to chase them.
The unique approach of Open House Eastbourne is a breath of fresh air from the 15 minute viewing slot of traditional chain estate agents.
