I had to chase them up for everything and the advertisement on their website for the property was completely false. Overall Orchard were unhelpful, unprofessional and displayed very poor communication throughout.

I have contacted them to view a Bunglow In Ruislip as I was moving from North. We arranged viewing once and then they cancelled. I have accepted the cancellation as they advised property has been let agreed.
Property was back to market again. I contacted them and I arranged a viewing on Saturday 24/10/2020. As I was travelling form Scotland ,by plane, I contacted them on Friday 23/10/2020 and they confirmed the appointment. I went ahead and booked a flight and Hotel for 250 GBp .
After I checked in at the airport, I received a call that viewing is cancelled on the allegation that all of a sudden Landlord changed his mind.
I requested that they pay the costs of my lastminute cancelled trip.
They refused and were unprofessional, accused me of lying.
I requested their complain policy but they denied they have one.
Obviously they favored to rent the property to someone else and they did not show respect to people's money and time.
Very poor unreliable service and rude communication.

I have dealt with Orchard for ALL of my property needs.
As a first time buyer, they were super helpful in finding me properties that fit my budget and requirements, and I never felt like I was being taken advantage of.
Then when it came to putting that house up for rent and buying my new place (both through Orchard), they were able to handle the transition between properties and status change of properties almost seemlessly, which when you consider the mortgage changes, the tenancy changes, and the legal alignment, was nothing short of miraculous.
They are always realistic and honest in their valuations, and as they are a local company, they understand me as an individual, rather than a part of their portfolio.
I honestly couldn't be happier with their service so far, and would recommend them to anyone looking to buy/sell/rent their home.

I didnt feel any pressure to accept low offers on my home as I have found some agents do in the past. Orchard Ickenham- Xmas & New year is “over” - can you please take your sign board from my property!! Its been “two months” since i made a request. I know you keep saying that this is third party based in Wembley and you can’t control it.. etc.. xmas hols.... etc.. but this your vender and please manage it .. having those board outside of my property without my permission is not acceptable!!

Orchard helped me buy my first home since I divorced. The service I received from Charlie Linthwaite in particular was brilliant.
I was particularly impressed with his local knowledge and that Orchard were prepared to target roads at which I expressed an interest in through a targeted advertising campaign.
I used their financial services provider to choose the right mortgage lender for me.
I cannot recommend Orchard and especially Charlie enough, they are a proffesional Company.
I liken them to a corner shop service within a superstore environment of property offerings.

Ready to cross borders just to get your money. At the moment they are advertising at least one property to let which is questionably legal and they know it. Once you pay, you are no longer interesting and you can forget about any proper service, in fact you will probably be treated as annoyance. Avoid at all cost.

Beware if you are a tenant as they will take as much money as possible from your deposit by breaking previous agreements and deny any communications. Service to correct a problem is awful - took 5 days to bring heating back on in the middle of winter! Basically in with the landlords to rip you off, stay away, loads of better estate agents in the area!

We recently sold a house through Orchard and I would happily recommend them to others.
The brochure that was prepared to sell our house was professionally done and of a high quality. I felt the photos showed the house very well and the description was accurate. I was very surprised when I was shown the first draft as I did not have any comments or suggested edits. Great work!
Our estate agent was very polite, professional and easy to communicate with (by both phone and email). When he was out of the office, there was always somebody else who was available and able to answer any questions. Feedback from viewings was informative and provided in a timely manner.
I was particularly impressed by the strategy that was developed to sell our house. To give you some background, we had been trying to sell our house for months with another estate agent and had been unsuccessful (please see my other reviews). Because of this, I thought we would struggle to sell the house after switching to Orchard. However, Orchard were confident they could sell the house within 4 weeks. Well, they did in within 2 weeks and we received multiple offers. They had also laid out a plan which re-assured me that if the offers didn’t come in, they would be able to keep generating interest in the property.
The only negative criticism I have relates to a point when our buyer had problems with their sale. This is perhaps a personal preference, but when something goes wrong I want to know about it immediately. However, Orchard didn’t communicate the issue until after it was resolved. I can understand this approach but it was not my preferred method.

The journey of buying our home through Orchard was as perfect as it can get, from the initial viewing with Stephen Brick all the way to the day of the exchange, we were kept in the loop along the whole way.
The level of service was second to none, I had regular updates along the whole process, if ever I phoned the office, I was greeted with a friendly voice who tried to help in any way if Stephen was out on viewings.
None of the sale would have been possible had it not been for Stephen Brick, he kept us abreast of realistic timelines and progress reports on a continual basis. He communicated with all parties which meant we didn’t have to worry at any stage of the process. His kind and courteous approach to us will be one of the main reasons we would again choose Orchard to represent us once again should be decide to move or look for a new house to purchase.
The Orchard experience is one which highlights not all house moves have to be stressful, you just need the right partners acting for you in the form of Stephen and Orchard Property services.
