KFH Crouch End did a great job drumming up interest in and ultimately selling our flat. All of the team worked hard and were a pleasure to deal with, although I would like to single out Andy Thripp (our main point of contact) who was professional, available, attentive and a helpful facilitator. I would thoroughly recommend.
Moved into a property yesterday and completely aghast at both the level of after care and the communication displayed. Three people on the tenancy yet we still don’t have three sets of keys. Shelves are hanging off the walls and all works “promised” before moving in have not been carried out. We currently have works “promised” 15 days after our move in date and we have parts of the property unmaintained and filled with far too much detritus for an unfurnished property.
The worst part is that KFH are too busy trying to ascertain blame between James (Lettings), Natasha (management), the landlord, and the previous tenants that they are forgetting that three people are currently trying to live in the property. All calls to our assigned lettings and management agents have not been returned, any calls we have made have been met with apologies that they are currently away or on viewings to try and attain more clients they are clearly unable to accommodate.
Either we’ve been assigned the most ineffective pair of agents or KFH are unaware that, although they are selling and letting houses, they are also selling and letting homes for people to live in.
Pictures attached for reference of shelving, mould and an “unfurnished” flat.
Ameesha has managed my rental property since January of 2020 and has been a joy to communicate with. She is utterly consistent in her response to issues at the flat, quick to identify a problem, arrange an appropriate service and communicate results with me. Hamptons (Greene and Co) has also reliably found great tenants for my properties and managed their contracts in a timely way.
I have been looking around for a few months for a flat and have had really good experiences with other agents, but have had an awful experience with George from the Crouch end office. He didn’t call back when he said he would and was rude when I needed him to be a negotiator on the lease. I wouldn’t use Green and Co to the point where I paid another agency admin fees when Green and Co was offering no admin fees- just so I wouldn’t need to work with George.
Found a flat with their help during covid-19 restrictions. So everything was done virtually. I literally first saw our contact from the agency when he gave me the keys. Flat was precisely as advertised and the whole process was great. They were responsive and patient with any questions I might have. The property is not managed by them so I can't comment on this but overall thumbs up.
Rochester Place rented a bunch of first year students (one being my son) a property which they didn't need for over a month by convincing them it was too good to miss.
The property was inhabitable: mouldy, insecure (rotten door frame), filthy, contravened numbers housing regulations.
Despite this they refused to modify the start date, even though they couldn't move in.
I good example of their behaviour is (was) illustrated on their About Us page. They professed to be members of The Property Ombudsman - obviously they aren't! See other reviews
Foxtons is the best agent we've ever seen. High quality service. It was a fantastic experience finding our lovely flat through Foxtons. Especially we had the pleasure of working with Mirvana who helped us in these tough times with pandemic. She is the best! Extremely professional, super helpful, knowledgeable and very very very friendly. We highly recommend.
Thanks Mirvana and thanks Foxtons!
Really good! Shona is time conscious so she scheduled multiple viewings in the same morning taking into account my requirements. She is really helpful, friendly and professional.
George Tioannou was absolutely incredible!
Always a call or a text message away from anything we needed.
Thank you very much!
Highly recommended for anyone looking for a house/flat.
Was looking at a flat they had for rent in Hendon, London. Filled in all forms, to request viewing and they called back the next day - whilst I was at work, so of course I could not answer the phone whilst at work - got home from work and surprise surprise I found an email from these property agents where they emailed me at 5.58pm saying that they request and need me to turn up to the property (I requested) for viewing for 6pm. Giving me TWO MINUTES NOTICE to get to the property.
Funny!!!! Funny was, they left voicemail to call back but as I was at work I could not answer a personal call and I was working in an environment where I am talking to customers ALL DAY I could not give my attention to a personal phone call.
It was dead funny how they did not not ask where I work, or where I live etc and just ASSUMED that I'd be "free" and would be able to get to a viewing with only 2 minutes notice. Seriously common sense surely applies? I understand you are a business and needs to make money but do your brain should tell you to use your common sense (which should) tell you to give the customer more than 2 minutes notice to get to the property and to double check with the customer first if they are happy with the time and day of the appointment instead of assuming they are and should be free? What if they live more than 2 minutes away?
I work at a job where I am in work from 9am until 10pm at night and I work in an area where I have BAD signal at work
It also seems these people BRIBE people to write good reviews about them even if and when they write a review lower than 5* they bribe that person to change it to 5*. Just the way these guys have tried to bribe me with an offer of "We will give you so much discount off" for X or Y or Z off if you remove the review and change it. You know what they say, "If it sounds too good to be true" it prob is too good to be true and that there is SOMETHING wrong that they are not telling you about (until AFTER it has been dealt with
I’d highly recommend David Astburys to anyone looking to sell their property in north London. Toby Morris was a pleasure to deal with – he is reliable and efficient and made the whole process of selling my flat so much easier than it could have been. He kept me informed of all relevant developments in a timely manner, was always on hand to answer my queries and was key to ensuring that the sale didn’t fall through when minor delays outside our control arose. Thank you!
So happy with job they do. Got an amazing flat to rent, all information was given clearly , and quick. AMAZING ESTATE AGENCY! thank you
