We recently brought our first property with priory, and as first time buyers they were very helpful with all our questions. We had regular phone calls with updates and how the process was going and they always made time to call us back when requested. We were kept in the loop at all times. Priory were also very quick with the sale compared to other estate agents, from viewing the property we had the keys within 4months. Priory would be my first port of call if I chose to put my property up for sale in the future!

I was selling a property in my role as executor of a will for a family member. Lee and his team full appreciated my requirement for a quick sale, but to achieve as good a price as possible to ensure I had sufficient funds to fulfil my late aunt's wishes. Lee has an excellent understanding of the local market and gave a realistic valuation that I was happy with.
I received an offer within a few days of the property being on the market. Although the sale took a little longer than expected to complete, this was nothing to do with Priory Property Services and they ensured that things were moving along as quickly as possible.
Delighted with their service and would strongly recommend. I have purchased and sold a lot of properties outside of the area, so have plenty of experience with estate agents - some better than others! My experience with Priority Property Services Biddulph was definitely one of the better, if not the best.

We recently inherited a rental property following the death of our mother. The letting of the property was being managed by Priory Property Services. At the time of our mother’s death, tenants had recently vacated the property. The team at Priory have been very supportive and also quickly found new tenants that meet the required criteria. Dawn, our primary contact at Priory, has kept us up to date via phone and email throughout and has been quick to respond whenever we've had a query. We intend to continue using Priory to manage this property for us and would recommend them to others. Thank you to Dawn and the team at Priory Property Services.

Priory were excellent throughout my whole property buying experience! Pat Godfrey is one of the most knowledgeable and helpful people I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. Due to circumstances beyond my control, it took over a year to get me in to a house, but Pat and the team at Priory were always there whenever I needed assistance. Not only did Pat get me a great deal on my mortgage, but he made the whole thing as stress free as possible, whether that was breaking down home buyers reports or advising me on the financial side of things! Such a good and genuine company, I wouldn't go anywhere else!

Recently sold a property with Priory who are worth their weight in gold.
Friendly, helpful and efficient. They are great at working with their customers to help iron out any niggles in the selling/buying process and are excellent at working with other stakeholders (e.g. solicitors) to keep the process moving at pace.
It’s been over 10 years since I last used this agency but it felt like only yesterday and going back to see old friends,, crucially they haven’t let their standards drop in the slightest, in fact I think they’re like a fine wine and get better with age.

Fabulous estate agent at the Biddulph office! I was selling and buying in Biddulph and Lee had the knowledge of the area above anyone else. I sold for more than I expected with Lees confidence of the selling price. Rachel in the office went above and beyond with her advice and always kept me informed every step of the way. I have to say Rachel was more helpful than my solicitor! Viewing houses with Priory was quick to get an appointment and they didn't rush you when looking round a house. I bought with Priory too so it was easy on the day of the move. Just all round happy with their service. Well done Priory.

Wouldn't even give them 1 star, they issue my partner who's currently pregnant and got 5 kids 2 months notice to find another house she's paid her rent on time every month for her be treated like this, the haven't given her a reason for the eviction only a section 21, when they rung to say she as 2 months to get out they said you need go to the council and not even offer her another property to go to then saying landlord wants his property back all bunch off cowboys only interested in money, so now she's panicking as she's got be out 1 month before Christmas and kids might not get a Christmas they want because of these I wouldnt give them the time of day, well priory hope you all can sleep at night knowing you all got a house go to and have a good Christmas while you throwing people out. I will be seeking legal advice through my union solicitors

I don't know why anyone would use this estate agents - they are rude to potential customers, and to buyers.
My personal experience buying a property was being told to pull out, as they had other buyers lined up who had sold via Priory, when the delay ended up costing an extra £5k due to a change in stamp duty.
My mother in law has been in floods of tears today due to the rude way they have spoken to her, after enquiring about a property. There are other properties she wants to view via Priory, having already got offers on her property, but the whole experience has put her off dealing with Priory when buying a property.
Thankfully there are competitor estate agents in Biddulph that provide a much higher quality of customer service

As first time renters, due to a work move and delayed sale of our property, I do hope this isn’t the general service that renters have to endure.
POV: Unresponsive, several issues that were reported were never resolved while we lived there. Inflexible, I had to make a 450 mile round trip to sign paperwork on a Friday as the agent couldn’t find someone else in the office, or make a brief 5 min trip into the office on the Saturday that we moved in.
Rude and fairly unhelpful.
Took them two weeks after we moved out to approve the return of our deposit and I’m not sure they even did a final inspection, after I spent a whole day cleaning! They only approved because we threatened to go through the legal process to get our money back.
I glad we got into our own house, won’t be renting in again if possible.

I can’t honestly recommend. Enquired about a property in Biddulph a couple of weeks ago and because I’m currently going through a debt relief order, because of that they weren’t interested in me.
Single, non smoking, medical professional who recently switched jobs with a very healthy savings account; without debts and recently ended a two year tenancy without missing a single payment.
Not considered due to rental arrears accrued from a property 7-8 years ago, even with the offer a guarantor.
Not the kind of letting agency or landlord I’d like to do business with.

Being amateur landlords, we have dealt with the lettings side of Priory for ten years now. Over that time we have always felt content with the support we have received. We have had a number of tenants and the selection process appears to be sound. We have also had a change in personnel over time but are perfectly happy at present. The last few months have been difficult - understandably - but all seems be settling back down now.

Poor service. Clearly had too much work on to bother with my property. Photos were poor and when asked for some fresh, they took them but failed to upload them. Poor negotiation skills. Watch out for terms in the contract with this estate agent. I ended up going with a different estate agent as was frustrated with the lack of effort put into the sale of my property by priory, but because I ended up selling to someone who had previously viewed via priory, I was contractually obliged to pay priory the full fee, as well as the agent who actually negotiated the sale and managed the sale process. I would have much preferred if priory had put the proper effort in with this buyer in the first place and I would have avoided having to pay the two, and would have also sold the property much sooner.

Very professional and polite agents. Extremely knowledgeable and thorough on show arounds. Agent knows his stuff more than most others and if I was selling, is who I'd want selling my home (for his knowledge, professionalism and charisma). Only niggle is (for buyers) we had a few homes we were interested in independently valued and they were roughly 10/11% over. Though we were told this is quite standard so buyers have room to negotiate, plus sellers might have requested they go in at the higher price against agents advice (hence I'm not knocking a star off as I do think the agents are extremely genuine and if we saw our dream home with them I would be happy to go with Priory).

As a Landlord was very disappointed.
Gave them the keys of my property for letting.
Rang them after a week and they said they did not have time to evaluate the property. I said to them that it's been over a week and no one has called me up for any feed back on the property. There response was if your not happy with our service you can go elsewhere.
I am so glad my chapter ended with Priory agents sooner than later.
