Really good service from a local family business

I had my house up for sale through another local agent for 4 months and always felt that after a viewing (I had four) I was the one who chased the agent for feedback. I left them and went with Priory on the Monday, got a call on Tuesday, did a viewing on Wednesday and accepted an offer (after a little negotiation) on Thursday. Absolutely amazed and very impressed with the professionalism of the tema at Priory. Will definitely recommend these guys to anyone I know who is selling.

We purchased a property advertised with Priory Property Service's Tunstall office. They were quick to arrange viewings, negotiate offers and respond to e-mails. I felt that they could have been firmer with their vendor to speed up completion in light of an unnecessary delay, especially as our offer was conditional on rapid completion. Sadly I found that the company were hostile to feedback when I stressed this issue to their office staff. I feel a 3* review is fair, as everything else was handled well. It would easily be a 5* review if the company were firmer with vendors who accepted offers conditional on a quick sale, and were more open to receiving constructive criticism.

A big thank you to all the team at Priory Property Services. They were extremely friendly, helpful and approachable, no matter what problems I needed help and support with. It was lovely to receive total professionalism at all times.

We had the property with another long-standing agent for several months and I have to say that Priory were far more proactive and helpful. They supported me every step of the long journey. They pushed when needed, particularly when other parties seemed to be lacking any kind of urgency. After receiving brilliant service from priory property when selling my last property it wasn't hard to decide who I was going to use this time round selling my house. I got in touch with Matt Heathcote at the Tunstall branch and explained I would like to sell my house and also purchase one that priory were advertising. The owners of the property I wanted to buy set an impossible task for me to get my property up on the market and sold in just 7 days but Matt made this happen. The service I received from Matt was unbelievable, going out of his way at every turn to make sure that my property was well advertised and looking the best it could be. I had 5 viewings within the first 2 days through Matt's hard work and dedication to putting my needs first understanding knowing the pressure of my situation. Matt never gave me any doubts and constantly reassured me that himself and the Priory Property team would get my property told in the time needed to get the property I want. The communication between the priory team was also brilliant. On the rare occasion I couldnt speak to Matt, Judi Poletto who I contacted in their office was always well informed of my situation and always able to deal with any enquiry that I had and make sure I was always kept in the loop with any changes during my purchase and sale. I cant thank the priory team enough for the service they have provided this past few months as I don't think my purchase of my next home would of been made possible without their hard work!

Having had a great experience purchasing through Priory some 18 years ago, I chose Priory to manage the sale of my property with high expectations. They did not let me down, from the initial valuation to completion, every member of the team were fantastic. All aspects were managed for me with 100% professionalism and a personal touch that took all of the stress out of the move. I would highly recommend using Priory if you are looking to buy or sell your property.

Friendly, helpful estate agents. Will go that extra mile and helpful when being shown around.
I am finding prices a bit high though (roughly 10-15% more than online valuations mark the houses) which is slowly pricing me out of buying through them (unless the vendors are ok with being offered 10-15% less).

Very professional and polite agents. Extremely knowledgeable and thorough on show arounds. Agent knows his stuff more than most others and if I was selling, is who I'd want selling my home (for his knowledge, professionalism and charisma). Only niggle is (for buyers) we had a few homes we were interested in independently valued and they were roughly 10/11% over. Though we were told this is quite standard so buyers have room to negotiate, plus sellers might have requested they go in at the higher price against agents advice (hence I'm not knocking a star off as I do think the agents are extremely genuine and if we saw our dream home with them I would be happy to go with Priory).
