I am surprised at the last review, this is far from our experience of Purbecks when we sold our property through them. Our Purchaser was also extremely happy with them too, and said they wished their own agent had been as helpful and efficient. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the sales team and Purbecks.

Gave us incorrect information about vendor at point of offer. Six weeks later we pulled out of sale as real seller would not fill in property information forms or provide any answers to questions raised. We were then told by the real seller the property is 'sold as seen.' Did not receive one phone call from the agent in the six weeks to assure us the sale was progressing smoothly. When we told them we made our offer based on a normal sale and not a sold as seen (like an auction sale) they then tried to pass the buck and put the fault towards our solicitor. Poor estate agents who lack attention to detail...Buyer beware!

Over the last couple of years we have used Jo and her team for two property sales and for managing a rental property. Our queries were always dealt with promptly and efficiently. On calling them they would always know exactly where they were at with the sale/let and would chase buyers solicitors/estate agents when needed and report back. They have given us reliable, straightforward advice and would often go out of their way to help. Purbecks is our go-to choice of estate agent.

Jo sold our last home and without her, we wouldn’t have secured our current home as the chain broke at the 11th hour. Jo went above and beyond dealing with other estate agents and solicitors to help not only us, but others in the chain effected too. Highly recommend Purbeck and Co!

I used Purbecks and Co to purchase my first home alone. Everyone I spoke to was helpful and professional. I met Joy for the first house viewing made me feel relaxed and not rushed so I could spend time I needed to ensure the property was the right one for me. When going through the purchase the whole team were on hand to support me with any questions and they accompanied me to the property again so that we could take measurements during the sale process. Overall the service was friendly and prompt and I would recommend to anyone else in Stowmarket to use them

Dreadful estate agent. Would not trust the owner. Sold us one of her own properties whilst incorrectly filling in property forms. Proceed with caution. Go with any other estate agent than this one.

Poor experience!
Trying to purchase a property for a quick relocation. Called for info, but didn't feel confident that my request had been understood, so also emailed via a third party website.
Called the following day to be advised that they hadn't forgotten about me?!?
Had the time to read what my requirements were but no time to respond with even a quick one liner and unlikely to be able to advise me on some of the points I had requested. Estimated completion date and specification?
